@omerk.2709 I just started Orr area and felt like you felt lol (i.e. the Jaws movie thing). Was swimming without looking back from coast to coast. I saw the shark event on the map and tried to solo it…………………………………………

I did knock of 1/3 of its health by pulled other mobs as well lol….didn’t evnd well then lol.

@LithePanther – yes, we have a guild that operates cross server. It’s largely a chat based guild, although we do some cross server dungeoning between our EU-EU or NA-NA membership. Anet’s promise of guesting can’t come soon enough for most of us Neither can the website that Glitch promised us so we can be a bit more organised

@Uwo – you don’t have to change server if you don’t want to, we do have some members on Yak’s Bend already.

Kityni is SO very excited. Her older twin sister, Kitanyi, who has been secluded in her secret lab working on her life’s work, has returned to Metrica! Kitanyi has been away for so many years now, and the absence has been very hard on sweet, gentle Kityni.
Unlike her girly twin, Kytanyi is bold and courageous and not afraid to go after what she wants. And since getting back to Metrica, it seems she has taken a fancy to a certain set of very appealing EARS! Unfortunately for Kityni, those ears belong to Gadgetts. Kitanyi would certainly not see it as STEALING Gadgetts from her sister… rather, she would thank her sister for finding such a wonderful gift for her homecoming and appreciate the gift very much.
WHAT should Gadgetts do? Should he stay with the sweet gentle but very much a creampuff Kityni, who has been his constant companion through many adventures (who he also has to rez frequently)? Or should he move on to the bold, courageous, exciting Kitanyi, who could make life… a lot more interesting? OR will another attractive set of ears catch Kitanyi’s eyes altogether? Add to all this, the girls have a younger sister, Kitaake, a known thief. What will happen if SHE also decides that Gadgetts’ ears are the ears of her dreams. Stay tuned……

Wow, I think we got a lot of new recruits over the weekend. Welcome all!

Sorry I wasn’t as chatty over the weekend – the hubby is now inspired to run map completion with me, which is quite the time sink! I want to run more dungeons. And speaking of people who want to run through mobs, I think there’s a good amount of strategy in dungeons. Running through every mob means that when you have to go back to a waypoint you lose all your progress (especially if you’re trying to run through alone next time), but some battles are just so frustrating that it’s better to avoid them – especially if the reward won’t be worth the effort and if it’s easy to get around. But I have noticed that some engineer builds out there make it really hard to run through enemies.

@Noppy – Excellent story! While I have had long conversations about crafting and elementalist builds with random people, I’ve never had an opportunity like that.

@Helequin – Wow, that is a really well though out ranking system. Since it seems like we could go well beyond 10 ranks, maybe we should think about a compacted ranking system for in-game ranks (if we need more officer ranks) and then an expanded version for the website?

@Kit – Maybe Gadgetts should find his long lost twin for Kitanyi?

Comments: I’m pretty much open to anything, just like having some ingame friends as opposed to my RL friends who got me started and left it for Black Ops 2.

@DEKeyz – that is a good thought as well. I could have gone well, well past the 10 rank limit. I guess this is up to Glitch and the other guild admins as to how many levels of permissions they want in game. I went with only 4, but even the ranks that are there could be split into 7 separate levels by splitting Levels 1, 2 and 3 so all the ranks there form a separate level (Founder>Tribune>Praefect>Primus Pilus>Centurion>Evocati).

If we need more officer ranks or something in particular, I can suggest revisions too. I would just need some more specific details about what’s missing.

As for the website…I could do an expanded rank structure. There could probably even be a completely separate rank tree for each of the PvP/WvW focus (legion), PvE/Dungeons and Exploration (Auxilia) and the Crafters/Merchants, which would then funnel to the upper commmand.

Finally, what is with all the Asuras? I will be able to shoot over all of you! Or is this just your plan to make me take all the arrows? (I main a Norn ranger).

Happy times here and i’m willing to share
Nothing special but after all those Asuran pics, i finally decided that it is time to create my own little chap
Still working out the details, but so far i’ve got the following:
- it will be an Asura :p
- it will be a necromancer (haven’t played one yet, so lets look at new territory to explore)
- it will be a Asura with a BAD attitude!!

Not sure if i go for male or female, but i tend to play more female chars then male, somehow i’m not that into male chars (i like my feminine side :p )
And a name, that is usual also a problem but thanks to the great website that FGreen suggested, a name should be easy picking
So left is build and playing the little big ear “creature” (is Yoda also an Asura?? think there is a great discussion in that )
Any suggestions are welcome and will be considered and possibly dismissed

I’ve only made one asura, and she’s pretty cute, but here’s what I learned from the asura design process.

-Male Asura are easier to make look mean and tough or like complete pushovers, lady asura can also look pretty tough but not as mean but are very easy to make super cute (look at G vs Kit).
-While the concept of an Afrosura is awesome, it’s really tough to pull off
-Include Styxx in the name of your necro-Asura

Please bear with me Helequin. I promise the brilliant efforts won’t go wasted. Got to put a side note to implement them. Then we got to adjust members depending on the new organisation.
