Grinning still, after reading about the Asuran Army (or AA, as I will think of it from now on). I happen to know a couple of candidates for this (surely) legendary group. Introductions will have to wait til I’m home and have access to their photos!

I think we should have a guild strategy for attacking fortifications and other strong points which uses out large proportion of Asura to advantage:

Steps:
1. Let the Char and Norn members have a few drinks before the battle.
2. Create battle line with each Norn and Char assigned to a squad of Asura.
3. Commence Asura tossing for airborne assault on the target.

@Kit … Ummm I’ve never seen G throw shoes at anyone. So how could he be the evil one? I suppose it could have actually been your older twin and not you. Hmmm … plot thickens …

1. Depends what the guild coffers have on offer. I’m sure we could liberate whatever you fancy as a warm up to the battle. And there should be enough for everyone, though the kegs might run a little shy of that time I misplaced the Geargrind warband’s chugger.

2. How many can you toss over a 15 foot wall inside 10 minutes?

3. Something like that, but more like volleyball. The objective is to get our armed Asura on the enemy’s side of the wall. Once there they open the gate for us and then…..well then yes, it would be very much like quaggan bowling.

If that’s in overflow, there’s a very good chance that’s me lol. I’ve been goofing off with skritt potions in lion’s arch. If it’s not overflow, then I have no idea.

So when guesting is up are we going to have a load of mini asuras running around?

At risk of stretching too far…

Does this mean us Norn and Charr will need to man the Skritt Slings as well as the Asura Tossing Line?

On second thought, two lines of skritt followed by two lines of asura, then two lines of humans/sylvari and two lines of norn or charr in the back would make one heck of a gun/bow line…..

Since you have added Skritt to the assault forces, I would like to suggest that we name Kaii to command them. As he is our resident expert on Skritt. I would gladly volunteer to assist with the Skritt as well, I like the little guys.
But just to push our forces to the limit I suggest we also add an armada of Quaggan pwirates.

I may like the skritt, but I would much rather command an armada of quaggans. Foo!

Nothing suss…

Just runnign through ‘Straits of Devastation’. Yeah, many waypoints contested lol. Although ‘Temple of Balthazar’ was opened for a while .

I have been pulled by mobs on couple of occasions, however, during my exploration I was taking on 3-5 mobs at the same time. At one point I was soloing against two vets and didnt realise till later on lol.

Overall, Orr, thus far, seems not too troublesome. Sure there are annoying moments, however, knowing which targets to pick when helps.

Oh, and yes the instantaneous mob respawning was the only thing getting me killed.

Anyways I’m in Orr now so if anyone needs to buddy-up I’ll gladly help out with world completion – as long as our paths are somewhat similar

Asura, skritt, and undead chickens – oh my!

I decided to make an Asuran warrior, so you may have another addition to the Asuran Army before too long, hehe.

My Asura mesmer is up and running now.
The guild talk in-game makes me hungry ..

Hello people! My name is Uzzwick.

My main character is Chyn Fangheart, a charr necromancer that I only play PvP on. I have another character, Hilda Stormwhisper, for PvE.
I play mostly PvP and I’m active mostly on fridays/weekends. When I play PvE I enjoy everything from meta event chains to jumping puzzles. I’m trying to run my own guild but can’t seem to get that many players interested.

Ooo.. nice catch, Maji. Always good to have friends in high places, or so I hear. Random mushroom eating is not necessarily a good habit, however. :P Best keep an eye on that new recruit!
