No he isn’t a terrible person at all. Maybe he has raged on occasion but who hasn’t? He isn’t rude or obnoxious. Doesn’t rub people’s faces in it when he wins and doesn’t have long running feuds. So he isn’t a terrible person at all. He is really entertaining in fact. And sees the funnier side of losing more than almost anyone else

Helseth for me you are the best player I have ever seen. But unfortunately as long as you stick to mesmer I will not say you are the Most Valuable Player to a team. My vote goes for your teamate sizer who can decap and anihilate close to everything in this game with I feel less skill but with more efficient mechanics.

As you can see, the Mesmer is non-existent in the competitive scene for N/A Candidates, and only two out of the whole list of players from EU chose the Mesmer profession.

Balance?! That’s really something to seriously think about, right Josh?

The current Meta is like Warriors 120% – Guardians 110% – Ele – and more Ele? and then followed by Thief – Necromancer, Ranger/Engineer…

Where do Mesmer stand today? A sidekick? An Utility bot? Are we really a trash tier class like some have already commented about the Mesmer?

Less nerfs, and more buffs please to bring the balance in line.

Competitive players are NOT stupid. They chose to play certain profession utilizing certain builds with respective itemization and gearing for a reason and ONE reason only: To seal the victory

A pro competitive player has to go through the mindset of deciding what is the opportunity cost of bringing this profession over the others.

#1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of choosing the Mesmer in a competitive tournament?

#2. How much loss does the team has to bear in bringing a Mesmer on the team?

#3. How crucial is the role of Mesmer over the other 7 professions in a competitive tournament?

#4. How much of a difference CAN a Mesmer make in turning the tide for the team to seal its victory? How about Guardians? (I deliberately ask for comparison to the role of Guardian in this specific question for a reason…)

We have our “answers” clear as day from the lists of candidates.

How do Mesmer players view such an event and realizing that we have very limited choices of candidates to give our support? I am on N/A, and I suppose I will give my support to the two EU candidates representing the Mesmer? or should I give support to every other professions other than my own on the N/A? Does the Developers not seeing and understand the whole issue here?

Necro is definitely still viable, but I feel it’s not as much mindless condition spam as it used to be. You have to be more strategic with your cooldowns now. That’s my opinion as someone who doesn’t play necromancer, Noscoc would have a better opinion on that.

Dude, i understand you want to stick up for your homie but trust me im not alone. When i have come across him in pvp (on his team or against its to be rude or obnoxious to his team/another player on map chat in the pvp game, or just call everyone bad on ts…basically personifying the definition of an elitest snob…..this was coming from a hambow hero who could faceroll 2v1 therefore his team was automatically bad because they could not do the same. Its not me having an agenda against him, it’s him that has left that impression on me and countless others. I hope he’s changed, good luck to him . Peace.

ps…no one else on that list have i experienced bad sportsman ship which is why i laughed at his bio.

This is true. I use the Warden Greatsword on my Guardian (t3 cultural from Sylvari, cultural weapons can be used in all races) and I see way more Sunrises and Twilight than copies from my weapon. Ppl often ask me what weapon is it.

My certain votes are:

EU: Sizer, Bullet Punch
NA: BLU, Kensuda. Five Gauge

Rest was not random, was based on the texts, but I don’t remember all names, these are the ones from the selected I want to see.
I would also voted in Magic Toker or Caed if they were there, aparently not I would like to know why

Oh the actual voting was just an illusion to make us feel like we could decide. They’re just going to play the politics game and send who they planned on sending regardless of votes

Quite sad other eu teams aren´t represented. That´s not really the purpose of an all star tournament.

Also 50% of the votes come from different region, so they don´t know the other players, while this gamescom tournament would be a good platform to get to learn more good palyers / teams.

Furthermore this voting was easily abused by proxy/ip changing + deleting cookies which is done in a few seconds. Whoever got the incentive/time/criminal energy to cheat on it got an easy time doing so.

Still hope it will be entertaining tho

This is not allstars, it’s a normal tournament with massive bias towards EU and China as NA is basicaly left with a Pug to play vs some of the best players of the other regions.

I’ve played about 200 games on china 80%ish were yolo Q’s the others were duo Q’s with my wife.

196 wins 4 losses…

Also take into account that this was with 3 second skill lag CONSTANTLY at BEST (at worst I just literally couldn’t move half of the game).

I realize that you prolly don’t play spvp. But there is nothing apex does that requires talent. Most of the players don’t know advanced rotations.

Why doesn´t Arenanet show the actually numbers of votes ? This voting seems very suspicious to me especially since you could cheat by using proyxies/changing ip´s and delete cookies to vote infinite times.

A full team going there also doesn´t match the purpose of an allstar tournament, where the top players of all teams represent their region.

Also the fact eu can vote for na and vise versa doesn´t make it a fair voting. In addition the rules said you can vote once per account, while in reality everyone could vote without even playing the game.

As long as I don´t see the true result I´ll be really disappointed and even then it´s neither representative nor valid.

Classic anet making voting possible for every single IP as much as you want. This’ll be a fail tournament anyway with a full team against a pug.

I wouldn’t write the Chinese off as well, I have heard there pretty awesome and they could well bring unusual strategy/meta that the EU/NA players are not expecting.

Really? Have you played on Chinese servers? My tQ win % is 98% from solo entering and a few duo Qs…. After 200 games…. With a constant 3 second skill lag due to latency from playing in the states…

Yeah, I don’t expect anything from china. If they score over 20 points in any match I am already fully convinced it will be because Anet begged EU and NA to ‘make it look close’
