I can’t seem to stomp properly. When theyre down, I’d see the red icon to press F to stomp but nothing happens. I just kept getting attacked with no stomping animation. We’ve lost a few team fights coz of this. Stomp doesn’t activate, character just keeps auto attacking.

I’ve been having issues stomping, too. I also watched someone stomp me from several feet away from where I saw my body- there’s no way he would have been able to if there wasn’t something funky going on. My guess is that it has something to do with the lag and disconnects that have been plaguing PvP recently- it’s the only place I have any issues with ping or connection strength.

That’s lag. It happens.

Desyncs, the server things you are at a different location than you are causing bodies to not be stompable unless you can find where they REALLY are.

This is mostly caused by lag on the players side.

Yup, lags. However, I do think there is an issue with quickness and stomping. After the stomp has gone through, you learn through several failures that you have to wait at the very end animation a few moments, otherwise you move away and have to start all over again, with your Haste, Quickening Zephyr, “Feel My Wrath” on cd for nothing. THAT is annoying.

I had a situation where i stomp ppl but after few seconds they get up , not be able to res and not be able to target ppl for stomp,
i acctualy started to beleve that it was a hack of some sort escpecaly already finished stomp with no death after

It’s desync.

There are two workaround:
1. you AoE or cleave the downed players to death.
2. you AoE or cleave until you can locate the downed player (server’s side) by looking at skill effects (Air rune, fire rune etc.) then you try to position in a way that you’re near the client’s position (where you can hit F) and at the same time near the downed player (server’s side). That way, you can stomp.

Reason why I’m skeptic is because this would happen to me when I’m in melee range. Meaning my melee attacks have landed to down them within a short range. Then when the stomp icon appears, I’d hit F and my character would just stand there.

I know desyncs are the culprit when you stomp someone and nothing happens but you do see the stomp animation of your character

This case, I’d repeatedly hit F and nothing happens. My stupid character stands there and gets attacked over and over.

I don’t think I’ve had this happen before a few days ago.

I don’t think I’ve had this happen before a few days ago.

It is still desync, but a more severe one, meaning the downed player is only visually there. This usually happens when enemies are downed while they are using movement skills. Mostly happens with eles. It doesn’t happen a lot but it does happen. Speaking from someone with 4.5k matches in pvp.

Severe indeed. Annoying as fuqq.

It isn’t just lag, there are specific parts of certain maps that seem bugged for stomping. Sometimes it seemed like a terrain issue, others seem to be very close to non-desctructable objects.
