No matter what game you play, no matter what genre you like, no matter who makes a game, no matter if a game is old or new, one thing stays the same. Some people seem to live to complain.

When they are not complaining that every other class is over-powered, they are complaining about content. When they are done griping about content they feel the need to flame other people’s posts. When they are done trying to make themselves look good (by putting down others), they complain about something else. It is as if they sustain themselves by doing nothing but moan and groan.

Any MMO that is even sightly successful is going to have something, somewhere, that someone does not like. No one should expect a game to line everything up with their way of thinking. In many cases, it is hard to get a roomful of people to agree 100% of the time. How can anyone expect a million people to agree about the hundreds of points that make up a game.

Reading forums is like watching the news. Each channel (or person) will slant the details to match their own point of view. It is up to the viewer (or reader) to try and look past the personal bias and determine what is true

Its in all sections,check profesion/WvW forums :-).Nerf/op/fix/am gonna quit/wall of text full of nothing,and many other bla blah.You gonna get used to it,and filter 95% of it.Gosh,wouldnt like to have reading this forum as job.

Exactly. A forum post complaining about people complaining. It is really kind of funny in a sad way.

Supreme i’m with you. I have my troubles with the game but i like to address them with valid points, reasons beyond my own bias, flaws of my reasoning and benefits. It is a shame people are taking this post as a groan. This was well said and very clear. This is an important post as it should make people re evaluate their post on these forums. My worries a lot of the time are unthought out threads with enough following to cause a change (for the worse) and maybe arena net see this and is why they are quite absent for many of the posts because they are aware than the singing QQers are infact a minority spoiling the game for others, albeit this game has its issues they should be sought out in a more respectful way with valid reasonable points both for an against them.

The pvp part of this game is at an all time low. All that is left is a bunch of grinders that are pvping to finish their daily quests. Twitch viewers are lower than pretty much every big MMO including TESO, FF , TERA etc

The pvp side of this game flopped hard. Whats the point of praising the crew or the captain of a sinking ship?

We gave enough valid points of advice. But nothing was done with it….or not enough at least.

The PvP forums in a nut shell:

-Remove Daily Class Wins
-Ranger is OP
-Engineer is OP
-People are too mean

rinse and repeat every 24 hours

don’t forget the “cheesy sigil procs”, though those maybe an actual problem… I wouldn’t know

Tl;dr you’re right. Even if you’re complaining yourself now, that doesn’t mean your statements are less true.

Everything said on the forums should be taken with a grain of salt, to be frank. Often, we have no idea what the hell we’re talking about, even if we articulate our nonsense very well.

Everything is cheese if it makes (x) lose
Everything is easy if it makes (x) lose
Everything is too strong if it makes (x) lose

etc.

There’s always going to be someone in position X, so objective views of these topics save a lot of time and headache.
