I have had my share of mismatches and two-pip wins but this is just ridiculous. I’m seeing this more and more and it is just ruining the entire top end of PvP matchmaking.

Not only did we lose to a multi-legendary team, we lost 2 pips because the matchmaking system assessed us as the favorites.

It’s really like you can’t even queue with more than 2 people or you run the risk of running into fake squads like this that clearly abuse the hell out of the MMR system.

It’s not the first time this has happened to me, but this is by far the most blatant effort to game the system. Pretty much sums up why people kitten about MMRs and hidden ranking systems.

Has anyone else had the lovely pleasure of running into these gentlemen?

One suggestion : as soon as you see double ele….SWAP AS FAST AS YOU CAN that’s like 100% defeat just there

I had one game like that, and took 3 pips from it which was sweet.

But its important to point out that’s pretty rare in my experience. For everyone one you win you lose 3 others and despite your pips remaining more or less stable or perhaps even progress. Your participating in what is usually a very biased game that is over quickly with little resistance.

Overall PvP is in a pretty sad state.

They said next scheduled update, so sooner than next season for this one.

Will be fix on tuesday i hope. Because yeah thats annoying as kitten.

The sad things they are not gonna punish exploiting. Inb4 omg i am just qing with friends: yeah sssure. Chat logs, names like pip farmer for amber account are way too obvious.

So wait let me get this straight

My legit friends who are in emerald (almost sapphire) and my other friend who we got to ruby today. We should play in unranked because our skill levels are vastly different even though we are all playing and queing in ranked?

Wow thanks guys and thanks anet. These are not guys who have not played PvP but simply dont grind every day in PvP. They are going for the legendary back pcs but plan to get it by the 4th season.

Also my guild is a small guild of returning players and ones who didnt buy the HOT expansion so i should just say hey we are gonna face diamond and legendarys if you que with me. They be like ok its for fun but then the team would rage at me or my friends/ guild mates because they want to participate in the “League Season”.

Unreal that the best MM can do is the simplest/easiest for them solution possible.
