Greetings folks

Wanted to ask some Beginner PvP questions and what not.

First and foremost, PvP guides/resources, I’m looking through metabattle’s guides currently, and reading over some builds, but I’d love to have more resources.

Class-wise…

I’m leaning towards Support-DPS, I like being able to provide healing and cleanses for my team, but I don’t want to be just a heal bot.

I’ve played a few games as Scrapper, and just made a Ranger/level boosted them with the HoT boost.

Aside from Scrapper and Druid, what other classes can supply good support/heals along with some DPS? I’m not particularly good, so I don’t know if being too involved with melee combat would be the best (albeit, I’ll do my best when it comes to Scrapper, they’re pretty fun/satisfying to use)

Look at symbolic guard with maybe some more support skills/traits I suppose, or some sort of hybrid elementalist build, but that probably won’t be good.

Also you don’t need to level up at all for PVP, if that’s what you did.

I’ll give that a look, thanks. I was thinking of looking into guardian/DH in general anyways, works out!

And I was unsure if I needed to manually acquire pets for PvP of if Ranger would get them all for PvP.

And I wanted to get rid of that shared inventory bit too soooo

Ranger Pets: If you have HoT you will have access to all pets available.

Oh, thanks a bunch for those links! Interesting reads, going to look over them a few times.

And I see, ah well, mainly interested in sPvP so the boost was useless anyway
