An idea for solos, by solos.
A third mode of sPvP, beside conquest and stronghold (champion’s dusk).
When you queue for this mode, the MM immediately put you a best of five duels with a random player in your MMR range on a random map. If you queue as a team, the MM breaks up the team and put each team member in a separate duel.
That is dueling only occurs if both participants chose it on their pvp panel. So you can’t queue for champion’s dusk and find yourself in a duel.
There can be a separate MMR for this mode.
This mode gives less reward than regular 5 v 5s, because you can potentially win very fast.
A dev claimed the game isn’t balanced for duels, but nor is it balanced for anything else, so let’s have duels.

I dont find this idea needed to be implemented, becouse you can whisp some buddys for 1v1s áll the time. Or visit angz or some other open 1v1 server.

Unfortunately dueling means nothing in current gw2pvp besides mirror builds.

I really wish I could beat some shinies out of my friends. they have so much of it too
Maybe a special duelist track that reward nothing but ectos
