#1: Spiders! … JK i’m totally in love with spiders…

on the other hand there are some already existing issues that can turn out even naughtyer after next patch goes live.

  1. the druid pet problem. these little creatures are pain in the aß for non bunkerish builds already. there are many reasons for this. Pets got extremely hard hitting abilitys on short cooldown. these skills are enchanted by the own stat of the pets and decent quickness uptime. This would be ok if either the damage would not be spread over time so you can counter it with less than 2dodges…. or the cooldown would be higher so overtime resources used on pet skills would be less. Second reason would be that fighting druid is similar to fighting (x+ele)vs(you) 2v1 pressure wise. while you pressure the druid(cc+damage) or trade health the pet is constantly applying counterpressure to you, this means you rarely get on top of these situations. Considering the Druid specialisation’s sustain, the longer the fight the worse for you. Sadly burst damage on (even marauder) druids is rather tiny thanks to ‘protective ward’. Killing the pet is out of question. Pressure on pet is waste of resources becouse swapping resets the pets hp when put back to the battlefield and pets can be swapped any time when they are close to death.
  2. Scrapper hammer. this weapon(set) makes scrapper the broken shlt it is. Designing this weapon with this amount of survivalability alond with aoe hardCC and one of the biggest power coefficents is ridiculous. This design makes posible for scrappers to pressure someone without risking themselves to any harm. We have been introduced to a powercreep where a single weaponset got abilitys with reflect, evade and block ALL with bigger coefficent than (from behind) Backstab! Along this Engis where given even more sustain in Scrapper line. Scaling toughness, constant healing, even more protection uptime and shorter CC’D time. Scrapper is the perfect example of how broken defensice stats and boons hooked to traitlines are. Good thing is that the animation of the hammer skills are greately visible and therefore counterable! Too bad you have to waste a lot of your resources on countering constant passive damage from perma retaliation and ‘bunker down’. further facts: engi can’t be bursted down thanks to passive DlCK SHRINK and can stealth gyro when under long focus and reset whenever he wants(gyro coldown gonna be incresed thanks God).
  3. the handle of the boon spamming. as allways Anet goes with the ‘easy way’ again. Instead of adjusting boon sharing and boon durations over game(would take more than 5minutes ofc) they introduce a solution(lol sollution) that promotes skill spamming and pigeonholded ability slots. I’m talking about ‘corrupt boon’ change ofc. Not sure how this is going to turn out for high level necro viability but overall this is a lazy decision and i dislike it.
  4. Dragonhunter pressure. having eles or support mesmers help a lot against these beasts, sadly eles wont be the same apperently. DHs deal brutal damage with low cooldown abilitys and have decent amount of damage avoidance tools and good healing. The disappearance of most of the support bunker builds might lift this spec to a scary level due to it’s dps. On the other hand it might backfire and they collapse under the enlarged pressure w/o broken supports. No matter whitch extreme is going to happen it wont be patched till eternity.
  5. ‘Instant Reflex’ and overall new Accro traitline. Once more… after whining rivers about how badly passive procs effect the game, instead of removing or reworking some they introduce one more… i’m speechless. Regarding acro: this line should have been completely redesigned in another theme. it can never be balanced while daredev traitline exists and thief is steal based so trickery is must have. It either goind go be broken paired up with daredevil or going to be overshadowed by trickery.

Im worries about Warriors getting overbuffed as they have been in the past, Engie bunkering getting a pass, and Diamondskin somehow still being OP.

A few things

1- If rangers pets didnt do this much dmg they wouldnt be viable. They are already have stalemates with scrappers and necros. They are less useful in team fights since the pet dies and they are therefore are not as good.

2- Scrapper is very difficult to kill in 1 vs 1 situations and they give alot of support. They do not change the outcome of fights though. They are the above average at everything class atm so maybe something should be done about this.

3- its the way of the future and we cant go back now, but boy i wish we could.

4- Dh couldnt make a impact on last season because of condi heavy teams and ele aura shares. 1 is gone but condi rev and necro still put them in line. They will dominate bad players and be average-good for top level play. To me they are in a really good spot.

5- i have no real comment about it, ill go with what you said.

I comment because everyone and their mother says DH OP, druid Pets OP, Necro OP, Engy Hammer OP, ummmmmm if all of these are op they should be pretty equal in combat and they actually are. Mesmer with there F5 for double moa or double time warp and thieves have a spot on teams. Warriors and Eles are the only 2 classes kind of falling behind the pack in the current meta imo.

Warrior is the only class with a Taylor Swift reference. Shake it off baybay! :D

As for acro it’s a net nerf and the new trait is merely a crutch to cover one’s mistakes. I agree they should remove more passives. The extra movement speed in stealth was great especially since acro has feline grace but at the same time the build wasn’t totally reliant on stealth and the extra movement speed meant you could stick to a target’s back more easily for the daze.

the point here is that the above mentioned issues have been mentioned by me and many others way before pre#2 season patch not just by the -12days label this topic shows. none of them where adressed nor did any of my bug reports or constructive feedback on healthy play find open doors.
i could start yet another " I’m done #x" topic, but what would be the use?!
