Durning a match when there are a lot of people in one spot i will sometime get stuck unable to move and no its not the immobile condi, its something else maybe its player model crossing with minion/game model or something but i am unable to move, using the stuck command got me teleported but i was still unable to move, this has happened enough times to make me think that this is being applied deliberatly, but it is killing me that i can not move even after all enemies have left the area

only 1x i ever gotten stuck. usu the direction i am moving doesn’t want to respond so i seem stuck, and as soon as i let go of the key, i am fine. but the 1 x that wasn’kitten i just typed /dance, and i was fine.

so try that, or /wave maybe easier since all the keys ‘w’ ‘a’ v’ ‘e’ are already on the wasd hand

Yes, it has been happening more and more over the last week.

The only thing you can do to get unstuck, is use charge skills (Bull’s charge, ele fire dagger 3, necro reaper shroud 2, greatsword rush etc)

/dance to break out of it . it worked for me. Pro tip from another player during a match.

I’ve been getting stuck a lot too. No, taking hands off the keyboard does nothing. Always have to /emote to break it. Generally it seems to happen only with the new CC skills from HoT specs like taunt and headbutt.

This problem hasn’t been resolved and i am started to see a pattern of it happening after taunts or other multiple enemy fields. I am starting to think this is an exploit

It’s a bug from taunt.

Should be an easy fix, like midair immob! wait what?!

Ye it happens all time, easy way to reproduce press Auto Move Forward>Press movement skill>dodge right after movement skill ends=stuck, gg.

Ages old bug, still ignored.

I get input lag…but only in Guild Wars 2 and only in certain PvP matches.

Very old bug, usually caused by taunt or knocksbacks/pulls done by enemy while your character uses port skill. Only fix is to type /dance or /sit.

It happens over a dozen times per game on my tempest when I’m vs warriors and ranger pets using taunt.

It’s REALLY REALLY annoying, I’ve reported the bug on forums and in game multiple times.

It’s game breaking and actually loses you matches, you can also exploit it against your enemy by making them stuck over and over

That’s weird. It seems like I get stuck when I’m on tempest too and now that I think about it I don’t get it on other classes.

Happens to me at least every other day, I sometimes also find myself spinning on the spot. Double tapping the key in the direction im spinning fixes that but being frozen on the spot I need to use an ability. Ive died a lot because of it

With my Ele, it happens a lot of Times, most of all for the combo taunt + diamond skin.

Super annoying.

They really should fix this.

Make a bug report post on the forums AND in game with information on the bug(taunt + diamond skin cleansing it = unable to move).

It’s so stupid why they haven’t fixed it. IMO it’s a game-breaking one.

same happens to me frequently after shadowsteps with thiefs sb5/shadowstep/steal etc.. please consider a fix soon

This is a game wide bug that affects multiple game modes, it really should be fixed. I’ve died too many times to the immob bug. For an action combat game like GW2, this shouldn’t be a thing.

I’ve had that happen several times in both pvp and pve. Usually if I can use a movement skill – one that sends your guy on a leap or dodge – it will end the immobilization. Regular dodging does not.

it does suck, because you end up face tanking.

but lets bring some new skins first hahahah… anet.. for pvps only this is the road to quit this game

lots of people know whats going and left the game. maybe you should do a little research about recent seasons. and those who dont just know whats going on stick out even more. usually its a big advantage for your enemies when youre immobilized ..
