for the last months i was only pvping with the standard crap loot that goes with that. today i went out to do some world bosses and was immediately amazed by the increase in loot especially yellow loot

is mf calculated in pvp realm or should i open my chests outside?

I think its RNG. Been picking up more Ascended from PvP chest lately and a good number of yellows as well. Someone is taking up your quota of good rolls.
