I’d say the only real change this week is that SF should belive in HoD/GoM to kill NSP as they try to not lose rating again and maybe leave the Blackhole .

Other than that, let us fight…

Anyway. While yes, a tad early, I would say you are accurate as to what the match up will be.

The only question at this point is. Will ET remain Blue this week?

T1 is really boring… I’m sure it still pretty much the same since BG left it for the second time… And i was starting to get annoyed with the “hardcore level” that WvW has become on BG. Thus, why i came down here…
The “problably all others after that” i because i’m really enjoying the new terrain, even tho SF outnumber ET/FC, and do not plan moving anytime soon.

We were still a little hung over from the party we through for ET when we wiped them from EB last night….lasted for an hour and a half.

LOL, still crying the numbers thing? Must be pretty sad over there if that is all you can keep coming up with. And the lame “our 6 defenders held off an entire 30+ SF zerg all by ourselves” or maybe the “I took on 7 SF invaders on my own and won” amazing stories. I am sure that MAYBE that happens once in a while but if all the stories we hear from you guys were true there is no way we would be winning.

And another LOL moment when you realize that the PvGate you are talking about is just a distraction while we take everything else. But keep up your delusions of granduer. We will be working on the all green maps like we always are.

Seriously, you guys cry and complain about how SF folks supposedly act and yet you guys are just as bad if not worse. Sure, you guys will flame me for pointing out the obvious, but remember who always starts talking crap on these threads

Really love the way this thread was started off…Truth be told this is the first week we lost points since the first week we won our first match on this server. If people on our server didn’t lose hope we probably wouldn’t have lost points this week either. We were only 60 point away from the lowest T7 server and having gained 30 points last week just suck that we lost points this week.

i’m not crying. but it is pretty obvious no matter how you slice it that you have more people active in WvW than we do. it is apparent to me, tho, that we are more active than you early in the morning.

and as for “we 6 held off the zerg blah blah” stories and PvDoor and whatnot… what i observed and described this morning hardly qualifies. SF came knocking on the door of their own keep… wanting it back i’m sure… with only maybe 10 people. we had somewhere between 5 and 10 ourselves (i didn’t count ours, for reasons which will soon become apparent in my little storytime) i was one of the ET people standing on top of the wall shooting. someone yanked me off the wall… bravo. nice move. >applause< and me being a squishy ranger quickly got my kitten gift wrapped and handed to me. so instead of WPing, i lay there dead and reported the % left on the gate into map chat while the rest of our forces were off flipping towers or whatever they were doing (i dunno. i was dead) i watched those 10 +/- SFers drop a single ram… which never finished getting built. it got destroyed at 50% done. i watched for a very long time as they slowly whittled down the outer gate from 50% to 0%.

then they rushed in to the inner gate, which was still at 50% for some reason. they got doused in oil… several died. and i watched as the gate slowly climbed back to 75% while the SF people milled around, shooting the door.

i did not see cats. i did not see ballistae. i did not see trebs. all i saw was disorganization. and a few painfully slow minutes later our reinforcements arrived and chased the small SF force back to their spawn.

fair enough, when your organized people started logging in at around 12:30 EST you started using siege and took back your keep and whatnot, but all in all, color me “not impressed”

I just want to remind people on every server since I see it happen so often to everyone…ALWAYS and I mean always look up when OIL is being poured on your head because it is a very effective way to clean out the tear ducts.

This makes sense when I think about it.

I mean besides the glaringly obvious that if SF has the forces to both distract ET’s main force and still have the troops to launch additional attacks across the board, that they must outnumber ET (and FC for that matter) by a large margin.

But lets not talk about that, as the sheer overwhelming numbers SF has seems to be a sore spot for them.

However, since I was at that keep, mind you, getting the Vista for 2 toons, and helping a guild through it, and hating it each and every time. I realize that after I started to get back into the thick of things, you guys were exceptionally sloppy.

I mean most of the time when SF attacks, it’s a good strong force, Hits two walls (or Door&Wall) , and ET can only defend one, and we lose the point in short order.

However, this morning was just horrid. SF dropped almost 4 walls in the courtyard, and attacked the door, and after the walls went down, only like small bands moved in, which were a lot of border fighting, back and forth. I was downed twice by treb shots, and finally killed by a larger force moving in and taking the keep. But all in all, it had to be one of the worst showings I had seen of SF to date. If it was just a distraction, your main force throwing the expendable and disposable at us, that would make sense now that you mention it.

This notion folks bring up, “it was me and a few friends against 30 stuff”, is sometimes true. You can tell because that’s when you die in 2 seconds going WTF was that? What folks are failing to realize is your allies are being culled, there are a lot more than you think. Stop fighting sometime and watch the enemy runaway , and watch as allied troops keep materializing out of no where, more and more. You start with 10 and more join in. You are not as good as you think you are. There a many times a few take many, but that’s often when there are walls and doors involved. ..or with thieves pre-culling fix. If you run into an enemy zerg and they run from you, they see something you can’t see. Think they don’t want your free badges?

Let’s hope the start doesn’t show how it will end eh?

Usually this is the best night of fighting for all sides involved. Not even sure what to say right now with ET getting 75 points per tick, I’ve never seen it this bad on reset night. All I can hope is that people from ET succumbed to my divine wisdom and joined FC

Taking everything while the other team is asleep isn’t impressive. Not for us, and not for anyone. You guys going to bed when middle schoolers go to bed means we need to work harder to paint the town green while you guys are still awake so we don’t get accused of “night capping” even though it’s still primetime on the same continent.

Nahh. Last week ET had a bad start, and the week before that, ET had a worse start, and moved from 3rd to 2nd. Never let the first night dictate the rest of the week.

Sides, we I know we have a lot of working stiffs on ET, so there is a good chance with tomorrow being the week end, we will be a little more activity.

So I’ve gotten exactly 250 kills so far on an underleveled alt, a very exciting night.

I’ve also seen some incredible enemy tactics tonight, from ‘guys don’t even try we’ll just wait ‘til they’re sleeping and take all their kitten’ to ‘IF U SMACK REAL HARD WIF UR NOSE IT BREAK EVENTULY’.

A truly captivating experience. Thank you based ET & FC for the opportunity.

Yet another “fun” week of WvW being mobbed under at all hours of the night.

Seriously. I take a splinter group while a gigantic battle is going on to tickle garrison, only to arrive and find it has at least ten defenders (and one commander) manning arrow carts picking their noses just waiting for a group of three people trying to open a door.

ALL I WANT IS A VISTA FOR 100% COMPLETION, YOU KITTENS. GO PICK YOUR NOSES IN FRONT OF A DRAGON.

Ugh.

Oh SF and the overwhelming numbers… It was strange seeing two orange swords in the map… And i still had some people saying “no, there is only like 10 SF in the keep”.
Anyway, nice battle in front of Quentin. Holding against the odds is really more fun than just roll over your enemy like it was up on T1-T2… (To not mention i don’t have any lag/culling issues in this tier) Every fight make me not want to go back… Please keep it up!

Lol…you spent over a month rolling over people in T2 but remember the day before you were to face off against T1 again (which didn’t go your way last time) you jumpted to T8 to be some sort of hero….or Forum Warrior as you put it. I bet when you hear the name Jade Quarry all you hear is the Imperial March closing in on you. If you read the forum and came to some sort of intelligent reasoning to flee to T8 then please don’t complain about SF’s numbers.

T’was an awesome reset night as usual. We of [WZ] returned full force tonight and with our friends and fellows of the newly formed Ferguson Alliance in toe we had a great time battling it out with SF and ET tonight and wiping whatever dared step foot in our borderlands during prime time. Shout-out for CoSA; the fights we had between the bay and respective camp in SF BL were particularly fun.

Apologies for poor quality screenshots, lagg was so super-mega bad today for some reason that I even opted to go into subsample to boost fps. :/

Wishing the Fergs night crew best of luck with the trials that await you while we all catch some z’s.

Must have missed that part. Because as I remember the only time we wiped was when FC was trying to get into ogre and there was a gigantic SF zerg that fought them and finished off the remainder of us inside. After which myself and several people logged off. Excuse me if I don’t indulge in your fantasies.

Also, good fights all around. It was a fun 3-4 hours. No one expects us to hold the points. Still not enough coverage, but it sure is fun taking them

Hopefully we get more people moving over here in the near future. If we’re going to be here, we might as well make the best of our fights.

Also shout out to all the smaller ET guilds growing and developing. You guys are progressing by leaps and bounds, and our night crew is really coming together. Great job all!

The trend I’m noticing that’s developed in the past week or so is that ET makes a very hard push around about, oh… lets call it 7 or 8am EST. It was either yesterday morning or the day before where you had most of EB and your BL all blue, and were making hard incursions into Ferg’s BL.

If that trend continues, it’s going to be a hard scrabble trying to claw back into second place. You guys make some serious scratch in points in those few hours before SF starts pushing back. We’re usually scrambling to put enough green dots together at that point to make sure we hold onto the BL. Which doesn’t always happen, as last week would tell. But I’m also seeing new faces in Ferg. And [BS] is doing a great job at keeping the BL red as best they can in the wee morning hours. Thanks to those guys over in [BS] for that. Appreciate it. Anyway, it’s going to be interesting to see how this week shapes out.

Shout out to the Ferguson’s Crossing Night crew! Man you guys were stellar tonight in defense of our land. We may have been pushed back far, but we made them all earn the land they took with lots and lots of siege arrows raining down on them

And a little shout out to SF, through our fully outmanned fights, and having like 5 or so to defend (not trolling, or complaining about being outnumbered) I learned of some new hiding places for siege weapons, and places your aoe can not reach em So thank you for those numerous times to learn those places.

So keep up the good work FC night crew, yall are some of the nicest people to talk to, and some of the most stubborn people for when we get fully entrenched Looking forward to working with yall again later.

So all around good job all, fought tooth and nail to keep what we had and pushed back SF with lesser numbers.

I left that siege when they were trying to build a catapult to hit unkillable walls. =/

Do not worry, remember with 5 or 6 players ET and FC can face down any number of SF players. It apparently happens all the time. Still trying to be on one of these SF zergs that gets faced down by 10% of their numbers. Maybe I am just so good that all the zergs I happen to run with never lose an outmanned fight?
