So you would say taking a tower with nobody defending it, is just as much work as one being defended with tons of seige and 20+ players?

For SoS, can we all just agree to the simple idea of NA equals to Oceanic, and likewise

For the most part SoS has little creativity, they will do the same thing over and over and over until the enemy falls asleep.

Both also work equally hard.

Maybe at times, SoS might not have as much people to defense or attack. So, what we can do is to find people or guilds who are interested to be among our community to support us when we vulnerable and not trying to prove who do the most work.

Let me clear this up, our guild HAX do not condone any hacking act whatsoever. There are some guild members jumped server to get POI and VISTA in contested area in our own world. That is all. The guild name itself stands for Hollow Ataraxia Malaysia, and that does not mean we are using any hax or haxxor ourself. Hope this will clear any accusation and prejudice towards our guild. We are small guild from Malaysia, friends among friends mostly going to wvw during the weekends only.

The posted image for the accusation does not show much of the hacking act. We would like to view more of this said proof. Thank you very much.

Thats kind of funny. I remember a report awhile back from APB online how 90% of the gamers in Russia hacked, and 78% of the gamers in Malaysia hacked on there servers. If your a malaysia based game clan playing on US servers, that seems fishy to begin with. JUST saying wouldn’t you be better with a southern EU server?

I can say that is a blatant accusation. I am sorry but that percentage number is without any clarification AND one bad apple does not mean the whole Malaysia players hack even from another game. I really would like to get deeper into this matter and investigate our guildies but the pic itself does not show much. I can see the letters “H” and “A” (not sure even the second letter is “A”) but not the last letter. Could be HAB, HAT, etc.

I can assure you we only recruit through friends of friends, haven’t even shout once in public for recruitment. That is to say, we really know our member pretty well. About the time stated, I have no idea sorry. I hope this matter would just settle away peacefully.

SoR has more people during NA daytime. SoS has more people during NA nighttime. The sides will most of the time, not be balanced.

It’s still been a good matchup in my opinion. But there will always be whiners….

Heh, I never saw much of a force for us on SoR last night, but I did have fun running a lot of Hit-N-Run attacks on SoS Supply Camps, Sentries, and a Tower here or there. Lost a couple Towers due to CD AJ’ing us right as we dropped the door. =)

Pretty sure NA prime time SoR was up about +400~ give or take 10 points ever hour. I only stayed up to about Midnight EST time though.

Fun match regardless, I have to give props to PRX for trying so hard on EB they’ve been making the match up alot of fun. Where’s all the DB guilds at? I never see them in WvW anymore. or at least the numbers I thought I would see there.

What on earth are you complaining about? If you want to reschedule your play so that SoS always has an opponent, knock yourself out. They are not doing anything wrong, and they also have to deal with times that most of their players are asleep but many SoR players are busy.

And for what it’s worth, it seems to me that the SoS kittens fight very effectively when they are outnumbered, and they keep fighting even when the score is very lopsided for SoR.

Imo, NA primetime has been pretty close. In fact, yesterday, we came back from +180 PPT when I got home from work, and when I went to bed we were sitting at +300 PPT.

During that time, we had taken two orbs. But one of our alters was hacked/destroyed at EH (nice move random SoR player!) but we still managed to take DB, retake the orb and place it at the newly acquired keep.

When you look it at that way, no spin, coming back from +180 PPT to +300 PPT and two orbs, we may even have a slight advantage.

And now, I see the Oceanics/Singaporeans putting in some good kittening work son!

SoS has equal NA primetime players. We destroy them with even numbers. So again, congrats to the people who can take a tower with nobody in it. True skill.

You know, last night, you guys kept us at spawn for 20 minutes. We still kept fighting, long enough until more members came in and a strong guild came in (most people know who I’m talking about, but I’m avoiding drama). You guys focused on keeping us at spawn. Eventually, for the next two-three hours, we went from being spawn camped to taking over more than half the map, including both DB and EH. Someone also hacked our altar/orb at EH.

So I dunno why you’re trying to discredit us, you guys were definitely not outmanned or outnumbered. This was on your BL.

Just because you don’t have the outmanned buff, doesn’t mean you’re not outmanned literally. Keep that in mind.

I think every time you think you’re outmanned…you should post screen shots.

People keep saying “X server hacked our altar”. Fact is, most of the altars are spawning enemy orb protectors which are destroying the altars and keeping the keeps in a contested state. Report the bug and move on. It is what it is and that is all we can do.

Somebody also said that SoR hacked 3 of the orbs on the first day. Considering I partook in 2 of the 3 orb takes, I’m going to have to call mularkey on that one.

@Assm, reminds me of Belichick’s Patriots, while everyone else in the league talks trash on the field. Except we can’t in-game so we do it here. I mean, that is why this thread has so many posts/views right? All in good fun tho, nothing to lose sleep over.

Man do SoS chest thump and smack talk alot. But when they start losing, boy do they like to complain.

More on topic, don’t think SoR is ready for tier 1-2. We have a major gap of around 8 hours where we do not have the numbers of Oceanics needed. So at those times, SoS zergs with almost no one to stop them. Personally, I have had to play 10+ hours a day as a NA west coast player in hopes of at least slowing them down; not working though, way way way to many Oceanics on SoS. But I had to stop; it’s just to kitten fatiguing. If I do that any more, prolly kill myself.

Btw, before you guys starting whinging and saying this is all the result of hackers: there is a bug where enemy NPCs will keep on spawning for some reason even if you control the objective.

ie. we had durious and enemy NPCs kept on spawning and over. I watched as they took out all our siege and kept the place under crossed swords for hours. Since they are elites, they would get the time needed to destroy all our junk before the two of us on watch could kill them. So this right here is what is happening. This is a BUG, not a HACK.

Let me clear this up. Our guild “Pink Monkey’s/DEVS” does not hack, cheat, steal orbs etc. We have a core group of experienced pvp players and are able to kill groups of enemies who far out number us….for that we are accused of cheating.

Is that you PRX running around on SoS? You guys were pretty cool in JQ. I was in Condemned.

It’s pretty evident that CD is falling off a bit. When we first started it looked like we could compete in t2 if not t1 with a bit more work. However this past week I had instant queue’s to every single map.

We were grossly outnumbered even during the 10-12 o’clock hours. There’s a couple of things that seem to have made an impact on this it looks like…
People are really hating the invisible zerg thing. I’ve noticed a lot of complaints and that’s obviously making it so that less and less people partake in W3.
CD lacks that big W3 guild that can take leadership on a map and push a big group of people together to objectives.

Do we have good players? Yes of course. Do we lack organization? Sadly yes.

And until the 2nd is fixed, we might continue to fall.

Thanks for the update. As a player not on SoR, its nice to hear that you guys are doing something about it. Too often whole servers get tarnished because these morons decide they need to hack/cheat etc.

Its been a helluva lot of fun and I only have respect for SoR, you guys are a tough crowd and a lot of fun. (I’m using guys generically to refer to the girls too btw – just to make sure I’m not offending anyone

One thing I have noticed, is that a number of SoR posters have commented that SoR gets night-capped with little to no resistance. As an Oceanic player, I can tell you that your Oceanic crew are not a walk-over. They do a very good job – with obviously limited numbers. They fight hard and smart and are a PITA!!! I wish all our matchups could be like this

SoR as a whole, was really ticked off when we found out they hacked the orb, and we agreed that we would give it back. Hopefully if we get enough reports on these guys they will get banned permanently.

Was nice to see Crystal Desert show up this afternoon, although it’s allowing SoS to catch back up quite a bit. Probably our fault though for staying in the CD borderlands.

ANet should have received enough reports by now to perma ban those that hacked.

despite all the negative publicity, Sanctum will surely continue to be competitive, so don’t let up!

Hopefully they get banned. I’m happy people are actively reporting cheats and bots in this game.

The problem is ANET does their bans in waves (which is typical for an MMO) and I’m pretty sure it takes a lot of evidence and reporting for them to ban anyone, so if they get missed in the ban wave they might be around for a while.

It would be great if they just had a team that went around and banned people in real time that were reported by say 5+ people within a certain timeframe, but I guess that might be expensive and difficult to do…

Hacking and exploits happen every match guys, the point is to catch them, report and move on. It’s always refreshing to see when a server stands up to its hackers, so thanks SoR.
