Agreed, Welcome to AR, where we literally throw Asuara at you when we run out of siege.

Intense battle at Danelon and QL over in EB, loved all the fights and keep it up! Anvil Rock had some serious power and we stalemated for a bit, but a good flank saved the day!

Epic fight at Bay in the AR BL tonight, kudos to SoS and Chaster for finally kicking AR out after something like 2 hrs.

It’s the first time in a month we’ve encountered serious opposition, the first time EVER since our increase in WvW population. It’ll no doubt take a while to get everyone in proper strategy mode.

That being said, Friday night reset is probably our WEAKEST time of the week. Other servers tend to have just as many people on as we do if not more. Even with all the new additions Kaineng is still mainly an Asian/Oceanic server. Look for us to strike when you sleep

While NSP’s morning presence isn’t huge, it’s certainly way bigger than what you’re used to facing. If you’re thinking you’ll be able to night cap your way to victory, you might be in for a much tougher ride than any of us expected.

I really enjoyed the fights in kaineng bl. We were always on our toes defending the lower part of the map. I enjoyed the fight at bay while it lasted.

I think I just killed 100 KAINs @ Sunnyhill. I say I think because I didn’t see a single one of you.

While NSP’s morning presence isn’t huge, it’s certainly way bigger than what you’re used to facing. If you’re thinking you’ll be able to night cap your way to victory, you might be in for a much tougher ride than any of us expected.

Honestly, that’s exactly what I’m hoping for and I imagine most of the citizens of Kaineng with me There were still a few decent battles here and there in the past few weeks but to tell you the truth, for the most part it is incredibly boring to have 650+ points at all times. In order to continue improving our play and simply to have more fun, we would sincerely welcome more opposition particularly during our primetime (that is your nighttime).

In short…bring it!

And I’d like to tip my hat to AR and NSP. You guys are making us work hard, giving us a run for our money. It’s been a while since I’ve had this much fun in WvW.

But I’m sure you know that we have a strong night shift as well, with Kaineng being largely oceanic too. I’ll be very interested to see what the map looks like when I get up in the morning.

Personally I feel bad for real Kaineng players, the one’s who actually worked hard and fought to bring their server up. I see far more transfer guilds than real Kaineng guilds. A real shame no one will ever know if you were ever actually good enough to break out of the lower tiers on your own. I was honestly expecting something new or better than what I have seen so far considering the chatter from the previous threads. Well, the round is still young, maybe something new will peek out aside from the painful waste of gold from poorly planned golem sieges. I see why you had a problem vs DR, they are far more organized, and still not as organized as BP was. Will you guys win due to better overall coverage, yep, will you lose a ton of gold if you keep doing silly stuff, you can expect it. And please keep feeding us golems, they are delicious!

As far as I know, this morning WM is mainly on EB and SOS is mainly on AR BL. Others may be in another 2 BL. If you want to meet original Kains, plx come AR BL. We still hold quite even fight with AR and its fun!

BTW, after they transferred to Kains, they are Kains’ power, never mind when they come.

I have no idea if we’ll be able to keep things going well overnight and in the morning (DB was able to knock us out in that timeslot when we were in T5) but I would be shocked if you managed 600+ points for any meaningful amount of time during NSP’s morning presence.

The Kaineng we ran up against in NSP BL were clearly a mix of organized and fairweather/casual players. Our first attack to try reclaim our garrison (was probably an hour after reset) was turned back by a couple well placed portal bombs, but by an hour or two later it seemed like anything more complicated than “get lots of people together, run in big group” was far too difficult for them.

Yeah I noticed this… Can’t remember which day it was.

NSP’s biggest problem is not realising a serious threat actually. Kain would be worse off atm if you guys weren’t focused on AR in EB and hitting AR BL. I’m aware its Wv3 and you may do as you like, but the only one that did benefit from your actions was kain give your commanders a pat on the back.

The big bad wolf that Kain was painted to be , isn’t so. After reading all the drama from forums I expected a super beast, thankfully it wasn’t so.

A few notes from tonight.

-Its really clear when we are fighting against Kains old guard and the transfer guilds. The level of play is just that much crisper.

-SoS guild : your sneaky tactics superior siege makes you stand out amongst the zerg , kudos, it surely keeps us on our toes.

-I’ll take you at your word that Friday night reset isn’t your strong point, but seeing as you will likely be in T5 next week, work on your own BL defense. It will be your downfall in T5, they like to pick on the new kid and move into your BLs.

I’ll be looking forward to taking back our BLs in the morning, as I’m sure your oceanics will setup shop. Lots of Karma to be made this weekend

Please feel free to send me any newbie rangers that need training , shirtless of course. I’ll have my owl test their reflexes.

Not saying it’s a bad thing, and I am sure Kaineng is figuring out that AR honestly LOVES a fight, I know that the real core players here on AR would feel a little empty if we had gotten the level of transfers that Kaineng has received. Anvil has been making slow and steady overall improvements in the Wv3 realm, and honestly I think it’s the right way to move through the ranks. Because of the way we have been improving we have far fewer “fair weather” players, we know how to take a loss, because I believe AR has only won twice in the history of week long matches.
Here is hoping the same things don’t happen to Kain that have happened to servers that have moved too far too fast.

Just like to point out: According to one of your Peeps, AR had Queues on basically every Map: as did Kaineng. All Servers have the same limit of Players per Map. Despite having similar numbers, Kaineng HAS managed to take the lead and hold it. This is not an attempt to Chest-thump, I KNOW we can get a lot better…response time for any calls I’ve made out for help thus far have taken WAY too long. I at least feel it’s fair to say that on “Equal Ground” thus far, Kaineng has proven itself fairly skilled.

Note: This is more for those who are going to be saying how great they are and how horrible Kaineng Players are and how they got 500 Badges off us, blah blah blah. Everyone knows full well I expected a good fight. :p Been posting everywhere “AR and NSP are going to surprise everyone, I was over there and I saw them in action.”

And until AR peeps started leaving for the night you were deadlocked. At least in AR/EB
Oh and there were no Ques in NSP/Kain. Just EB/AR

If there was such a server as Northern Shiver rocks, or Anvil Peaks, our combined coverage would be awesome!

Yep, standard for AR to have short queues on ARBL and EB on a reset night. Thankfully ours aren’t 30 minute queues XD.

Am enjoying this immensely so far I even died 3 times and as I run a super tanky heal Necro build that’s designed to run in groups, this hasn’t happened in weeks.
The fighting in AR borderlands is epic and everywhere at the moment.

I think we’ve broken just about every outer gate as well as a few walls of the AR garrison now and tried both brute force and sneak attacks to get in but so far, no luck! Haven’t had this much WvW fun in ages though

And AR, NSP, sure we’ve gained power and we probably will win this matchup in the long whole but keep in mind…other servers, especially those that have just been more or less steamrolled, like to exaggerate.
Yes we gained a lot of players but we never had many to begin with. Our new players are very polite and on the whole extremely skilled and well organized so there is really no reason to feel sorry for us “old” Kainengers. We’re happy to have them as it’s enabled us to get up here to fight you!
We’re probably a tier 5 server now, MAYBE tier 4 depending on how strong our oceanic presence turns out to be this week but most of us don’t really care about that.
We’re just happy to be in a fun match again so thank you for that!

My favorite thing to do is a casual siege, so I have to make sure that what and where I place things get passed by and over looked. If you find a cata or treb in an odd spot, figure out the why, and you will also know who most likely put it there. I spend a lot of time finding new ways to do the same old thing, it’s kinda a hobby. But I usually don’t start that until the reset hysteria has settled down.
P.S. Just ignore the little white swords on things, I swears, it’s not me trying to take a tower with one cata in a weird spot in the terrain with 1 or 2 other people. I would never do that.

Lol stop being so bitter will you? Anyway, I don’t think WM will leave Kaineng until Kaineng reaches and wins tier 1. As that is unlikely to happen anytime soon, just accept the fact they’re here to stay

And honestly, even if they weren’t…even if all the guilds that transferred here (and trust me there aren’t as many as you think, like you, Kaineng doesn’t have any queues on BL atm, only EB still has a short queue) left, do you really think the Kaineng old guard would care?

Not sure what you’re talkin about jkctmc, we prob wont shoot up as far as you think, and there’s nothing wrong with that, the fights in this matchup on reset night have been a blast, even numbers all around even if its only even on one borderland. All the hate towards server transfers, we’ve all been on the bad end of it, is there a reason to continue to cast out hate or cant we just enjoy thet good fights/moments we have cause last time I checked this was a game. (supposed to have fun if not you should do whatever you havto to have fun. and no I dont mean exploit/hack thats not fun for anyone) I came from a game before guild wars 2, called perfect world, where one guild of 200 held a map of about 30 lands and stomped every matchup in 5-10 minutes when the matches had 3 hour time limits. To avoid the ok they’re the best lets join them or quit, we all left our small time guilds to create a rival superpower. Then another superpower was created to fight both n so on. Point of this is, we did what we had to do to increase our end game joy, getting stomped here is a hell of a lot better than the situation you could experience in other games.

Agreeded on the 1st point but TCMM brought a ton of players a few months ago to anvil rock . Before the transfer we had a almost shut down Server in wvw after 20-30% of our server left. If it wasnt for Free fricken kitten #$$$ transfers we all would be about equal, but with free transfers you can go right to T1 server and feel like someone.

Also i’m 100% sure there is no such thing as a ‘transferless’ server at this point. You might not be entirely aware of who and when people transfer to your server, but its happening all the time to all servers.
