After an interesting first night, Abbadon is leading very close with 2k ahead.
The first time in the T5 bracket and the difficulty is raising.

I think the most importent question for AM is: How many players will we have during night in the week. We will see
I hope to see some great fights, we faced Gandara a few matchups before, now we come back and see, what each of us reached since then

To Gandara and Augury… hope you realice the longer you leave each other alone the harder it gets to take keeps/towers (I’m jealouse because of your portpoints). But we are happy you think our borderland is the most pretty BL xD We think that too!

The restart was really nice and we saw again what would be possible if we could keep up the numbers and raidleads we got during reset. We also saw again what happens when our people go to bed.. i fear it will be like that the whole week.. waking up and recapping the whole BL first.

Don’t worry, it will be pretty much the same for Gandara. We don’t really have a night squad either, just a couple of people. Only last week was different because we really wanted to beat FR and thus people dedicated themselves to playing all nighters knowing that we can’t do it every week.

I was quite surprised to see AR hitting the lowest popped server but if that’s how they want to play then Gandara will probably ignore AM and start hitting them because they’re the only target we can really take although that fight for SH with AM was immense, when they’re not doing their PC/Internet breaking portal bombs which I myself think is a little shady despite awesome organisation then the fights can be amazingly fun.

A mini zerg of Gandarans on the steps and then you look up to see a HORDE of AM’s on the wall above… one commander is yelling retreat, another is yelling push forward…. the fear, the rush, the joy of such an epic battle was brilliant! AM, less portal bombing more fighting. Or if you Portal bomb less than 40 people please this game has already destroyed one graphics card lol.

As of the remark about the least populated server being hit. We don’t have much organization during the weekend and no instructed focus. To be honest, we are much accustomed to be last during the weekend and define our priorities for the week in respect of the position and profile of each enemy the sunday evening.

Also, you will not have much night cappers from us. We are an old timer server and cherish our bed time. ;-)

Some nice fights until now on the Gandara BG, you fortified a lot already.

We will do our best to give each of you a good and honourable fight.

We had to bunker in last night…. it was a scary time… Bloody scary although at 6am after a long night and having just fully upgraded the Garrison I shouted in Guild Chat “OH MY GOD!!! GARRISON HAS GONE BLUE!!”

Lets just say the guild leader woke up pretty quickly :P Trolling is fun when done right

Yeah, I spent several hours this morning when it was quiet escorting bessie, knocking off the occasional thief, and fortifying our forward towers. Sad to see those fortifications couldn’t be maintained through the day, but not too surprised.

I had a bad reset start yesterday since i dced a lot of times in a row, and was really tired after this past week.
While both servers hitting on our BL and we losing keeps, SN moved to AM border and capped tower, keep and so close to garrison… at least we made u back off from our BL and gave us time to go back, cap everything and upgrade.
Also the golem attack at Bay, poor golem haha, he was so confused, didnt know what to do.
Now to the guild Army, i do know takes alot of effort to make portal bombs work, but in my opinion putting so much ppl in a portal and we cant even use skills to attack u guys its just not cool.
And thats all i see from u guys, no special siege placed to counter siege, only portal bombs and thats making me a bit mad. Cause game needs some fixes with lag and culling, and u use that to ur advantage.
About the rest of the fights, there were some nice fights already, i will not be restless like last week, my poor guildies need some rest <3.

I’ll be back in the fight with ze guild tomorrow – had to rest and make back some cash after last week! lol.

I know it’s early days but it almost feels like AM are giving up already, which I really hope isn’t the case- Gandara wants to fight you guys too!

And maybe it’s just been my bad luck but I’ve seen more Alt-F4ing from AR players this afternoon than I’ve seen from other servers in total up to now. I’m sure it’s just the odd player but it’s a shame that people ragequit to deny the attacker a bag, especially when it’s just 1 on 1..

8pm we started from zero and had some really nice fights with AR and Gandara. Especially on our BL.
the fights right in front of Etheron Hills against AR was: epic.

About 40 AR bashing the southern gate, we havent any siege weapons, waiting for the enemies to come in.
The gate opens and we rushed outside (without any portal-bombing btw).
Attached the result.
Very nice fights so far from all sides especially from our french neighbours .
May all have some good action during the week.

Had a nice time on AR-BL with AM and Bessie-Lovers splitting the blue Map. We just hoped you wouldn’t be that much when we opened the north-western gate at AR-garrison ^^

We all know AM is the weakest server in this match but we improved a lot the last weeks and therefore we will give you a hard time.

AM the weaker server, are you having a laugh, both AR and Gandara can only dream of the numbers you have and some of those TEST guys are unstoppable .
I must say though was funny in AR-BL at their Garrison, us taking one side while AM sneaked in from the other.
Such a shame you got spotted lol
All in all apart from the first night so far it’s been a joy to fight both AR and AM with some really good battles on all sides

AM has about as many us, they just tend to come in the form of the large guild groups such as Army and Test, meanwhile our forces spread out a bit more.

EDIT: I’m not implying you Zerg so don’t take it that way ._.

We don’t have ‘the numbers’.. we just do on reset-night cause it’s a event on our server and everyone knows about it. Because of that we dominated saturday night.
After that we got steamrolled (no complain there.. we had the most points so it was understandable) and now we try to keep up with you.. we try really hard.

But I remeber the last time we faced Gandara… the weekend looked good and from monday on it got worse xD

AR and AM hit us on our borderlands simultaneously this morning when we were undermanned (and had the fewest possessions, harumph!), each stealing one of our T3 keeps. Ly was AFK for 15 minutes and furious when she got back, and ordered us to start taking our keeps back. Thenorseman came and helped too. We retook them in about an hour. Plus we wiped a zerg inside DB the first time they attacked, I also got two exotics from WvW within an hour

Didnt have time to play until today, but seems like a fun match-up so far. Funny how no server claim to have the numbers, but all are very well represented on every battlefield.

And stop Alt+f4. Seriously. Worst day so far since launch!

What GA and AR did from 21-01 today… we just couldn’t stop shaking our heads. Mainly ARs ‘tactic’ was confusing us and we now have to assume AR and some GA are quite the cowards. Just attacking recently turned keeps instead of attacking those objectives that needed to be turned.

The ammount of times we ran somewhere and where awaited by both GA and AR was also more than funny ^^ After 1:00 we finally managed to imprive again.. from 80 per tick to 320 now.

Pitty we couldn’t turn Gandaras main keep. Wish you guys a good night and sweet dreams

When you took DB from AR, you’d just finished attacking our Garrison on our Borderland, we flipped DB because the opportunity was there to rush in after AM’s attack left the door open. Plus why should we give you the time to supply up and upgrade?

AM and AR both attacked Garrison at the same time at one point are we to assume you’re cowards too?

To be fair though AR confuse us too, they’ll get through to an inner gate and suddenly run off somewhere else…. they’re very strange like that.

The first thing was that you both held 100% of your borderlands and we got sandwiched on our own.. we ticked with 80 points there. Problem was that our BL was full with pugs when we started our raid. So while you both were on our BL your towers and keep got upgreated even more.. none of your servers even tried to take down the other one.. although there weren’t even 2k points between you.

Then we started raiding and switched between AR and GA depending on the situation. Whenever we took a tower/keep from GA a AR zerg was instantly there to recap it and vice versa. It was just impossible for us to make more points.. either we deffed the new thing or we lost it while taking a new one… really frustrating.

Then when we took GAs garrison we underestimated your numbers at the bridge leading to the lord. On the second attampt wie got you guys.. then suddenly AR was there with you.. then you both died/left. 1 Minute later GA was at the gate and AR was at the wall.

Then all those moment when we saw that something gets attacked on another BL and we thought “yeah kitten . Gandara is recapping there kitten but we can’t leave” just to see “oh.. AR took it… although they have nearly lost there whole BL to Gandara”

It was a really really strange night and if you would have seen it the way we did.. you would feel confused too ^^ Gandara is really lucky that AR somehow seems to have no sense of tactic.. neither in siege nor in terms of steeling you points to get first place.

Just the way we saw it tonight.. we know you saw it in a different kind of way ^^

@Tortun: Yeah it was a pity you instantly got inside the outer circle.. but we left bay because of that.. your huge numbers.. it would have been a long fight and we still might loose the bay. So we took the Golems and tried our luck somewhere else. Thats what I ment before.. either def a point that brings us 35 more (80+35=not enough) or try to get land somewhere else.

There’s nothing dodgy going on. Gandara’s numbers will tail off mid week due to the high of beating Fort Ranik wearing off.

SN the guild I’m in were hopping between AR and Gandara tonight, party cause teh Garrison is ours and we have a vested interest, we also had a vested interest in a number of locations on our Borderlands cause we paid for the upgrades on a few early morning on reset.

We were moving to defend our stuff and of course prevent anyone from capping stuff in our borderland. It is Gandara after all home of Bessie… we’ll never let Bessie the Dolyak fall to enemies for too long :P

The DB was just pure coincidence, we weren’t happy that someone went after Garrison and we thought a three way fight between Gandarans, AM and AR would be fun.

When I went left for bed, the AM numbers were starting to overwhelm us. Funny how that goes… people coming online at different times :P

I’m enjoying the fights this week between all three servers, after Friday night with AM’s portal bomb madness we were ready to just sit and protect our own borderland, scraping by as best we could but things really evened out today..

@Starfall: i would say the same, that ur lucky that AR and AM had their full BL and u both came to Gandara BL, to not let me go to sleep so early, after both servers take bay and hills u really expect us to give garrison so easy?

About being cowards i would like to call it being smart, if for u is being coward why u do it too? or should i name the times that u went to take something cause it wasnt upgraded?
About the numbers, all servers keep complaining we dont have ur numbers, its just incorrect, its all about timezones and whos online or not, cause at prime time i say were pretty even.

In any case i think this matchup is pretty good, all 3 servers are good fighters, and gl to all.

Its a very nice matchup so far.
Sometimes I am wondering what AR is doing (etheron Hills 2nd Gate 50% with 40ppl but gieving up the siege for example) but I think that they got many randoms with them.

Anyway, I hope this going on fair so far, no need to blame each other for being smart/coward what ever.
Hopefully we dont have to face two french servers next week, that would be awkward… :/

Logged on this mornin before catching my train to see AM domination with a guerilla force up against a handful of Gandarans…. I help take our Garrison back but lord knows how long that will last.

Just saw some really PRO antics from AM side… nice one guys; bring the class.

I don’t know if other AM players know or try to do anything about this but the “PRO” guild is going around our borderland (gandara) and hacking inside lord rooms to get keeps. Several players have reported this over the last hour and have seen no portals or any damaged walls/gates. This is really pathetic behavior by that guild and it should be stopped immediatly.

The exploit being used by the AM guild PRO should lead to them all being banned forever.

Good match so far there is no need for such lowdown tricks.

We have never seen any PRO guys.. don’t know if they just recently transfered. We’ll watch out for them and you keep reporting hope they are gone soon.

We aren’t on your borderland because withing 5 minutes a 40+ Gandara zerg and a now 50+ augury zerg are pressing us. I don’t know what you do.. but isn’t it funny for you too, to see the other zerg appearing whenever you press us?

Was really hard to def bay and garrison with 40 people.. so.. south and garrison lost.. and then gandara left.. yay lol

Edit2: Again perfecly 2vs1 although we are last… you are really my heros… instead of capping all the augur stuff on AM-BL (because they are with 50+ in the north of our keep) you attack the south of our keep. Instead of taking 50 points from france you both work together to take 35 from us.

Its purely co-incidence if it looks like we’re working together. Can honestly say we’re independent. Keep up the good work all sides and lets have a fair fight.

You should expect to be 2v1’d on your own borderland, the only way to avoid it is to push one server off the map.
We’re trying to take territory off AR but theres much better maps to do it on than your borderlands and neither server is far enough ahead of you to ignore you.
Personally im camped on your borderlands because im vindictive and petty and PRO pissed me off

There is a rule on Gandara that is “never shall the land of Bessie fall in the hands of orcs, french or germans”, and so we live our lives protecting it. Cause on the grassy fields of Gandara, Bessie shall always roam free without a care in the world. So we need to cap our structures. We need to have the banners of Bessie raised on every tower, camp and keep. Cause these are our times. The time of Bessie!

I believe that but those coincidences are so freaking insane!!
Just 30 sec ago we threw you out of our keep… to the south gate.. while we pushed you we jokingly said: “I bet the aurury are waiting there untill the gandara are gone”

And then… we pushed Gandara to the water… Gandara fled and Augury started pushing the keep… sorry guys… we just don’t get it anymore.

Have you ever thought that the reason you don’t come to our Borderland is the same reason AM is attacking yours? We’re not going to attack our own borderland now, are we? :P

Baseless accusations are just weak plus players like myself never enter EB and only hop from border to border with guilds and what not so whilst you complain that we’re attacking the same time as AR, I bet AR are having the same issue at certain times when we’re on their case at the same time as you.

It’s not out of the realms of possibility.

Sad to hear rumours that [PRO] are hacking their way to victory…. but there’s always a few bad eggs in the basket… right?

This makes no sense to me.. what do you mean? Btw. we are AM.. we won’t really attack our BL.
Again.. while we have to keep AR out of garrison you attack a nothern tower. Not before.. not after.. always while we have to be somewhere you attack and vice versa for AR. This would be absolutely understandable if we wouldn’t be third place with 100-180 ticks but because we are it just showes that both (GA and AR) are afraid of facing us alone.

The whole weekend and today our groups nearly never got wiped and we wipe enemy zergs close to every 10 minutes.. especially if they both come in 10min rotation to our main keep… I had a hard time looting. But we are third place because we can’t fight of 2-3 zergs as big as our whole group and both your servers are ‘exploiting’ this to the max.

You always say AM has the same or even more numbers.. thats just not true. You just see, when zergs meet, that we are the same number or sometimes more.. but you forget that we are mostly just on 2 maps.. sometimes three… and our BL are constantly under siege from both servers.

Did you even witness what happened the last 3 hours at our keep? I’m willing to discribe which server how often and where attacked there… and that while both your own BL looked really bad for you. Do both your servers always have full BL?

So because your targets are being attacked by opposing factions, it’s a conspiracy? I really don’t think WvW is for you.

We’ve had to fight off AR and AM at the same time too, in some cases sacrificing one tower for another upgraded one.

Just because you’re being attacked by the only two ‘enemy’ servers doesn’t mean there’s something nefarious going on. You’re just going through what every other server has gone through at some point.

As for not making sense; you said you don’t come to our borderland because you find our numbers too great to deal with. we always make sure our borderland is taken care of as long as we have the numbers online at the time. Once that’s green we can’t exactly attack ourselves so it’s either AR or AM and considering some folks bumped into exploiters today from AM that’s one sure fire way to ensure that the enemy you’re complaining has too many numbers comes after ya. Although i’m sure it’s just a few bad eggs…

It’s WvWvW if you check your map I’m pretty sure you’ll see a smaller team capping AR’s BL because our ‘superior’ numbers will probably have relayed that the AR Zerg is in AM.

This morning AR completely pushed us out of EBG, you think the people of Gandara are that generous ? I hear the same accusations every week from some of our players that the other two are allied.
We have fought AM before so have a fairly decent idea when you are strongest and weakest, we will attack any enemy we think we can get points from. It’s so close this week every point matters.

To be fair though when we fought two french servers the first post regarding the match on the FR forums was “lets team up” lol

I didn’t say that ^^ I think we misread each other a lot. I never said I think you are working together.. the oppisit I said. You seem to don’t really get what I mean.

I know that every servers get into 2on1 situations. I know it’s easy to break into newly turned keeps. I know it’s nice to watch the other two servers fight and then jump into the fight when it’s about to turn a tower/keep.

What you don’t get is the feeling I have towards you ‘tactic’.

Nearly in every match we fought up to now AM was 2nd place.. so we got attacked by 1st (because we shouldn’t catch up) and we got attacked by 3rd (because they wanted atleast 2nd). This week we are 3rd… but all we have the time/the manpower to do is fighting you both off in our BL and EB. Both your servers are 2k points appart.. and that for 3 days now… all I don’t get… and this is what I talk about the whole time .. is why you don’t fokus each other more?

When I see that the half of Gandara belongs to Augury and Augury lost nearly there whole BL to Gandara.. why do we have 2×50+ zergs on AM? It doesn’t make the gap between AR and GA bigger if you keep AM small.. thats why there are just 2k difference between you. That is what I would like to get explained. The other stuff like the coincidentes with rotating in attacking our garrison (I’m so proud of AM succesfully defending it the whole time) aren’t that important.

Again… I never said you are working together.. I’m just questioning your tactics or.. I’m asking if I don’t see something right. I’m always one to camp the english threads and have a nice chat with the enemy.. but I never come to accuse someone.

AR regularly send a zerg to GB and some of us head over to their border in the vain hope of splitting up their numbers. You’d wanna protect what’s your right? Well that’s how we feel. I myself always go for teh team breathing down our necks. I don’t think it helps taking from the folks who are trying to catch up because they’re not the immediate threat…

Tactics are largely dictated by which ever commander happens to be on. Some are very good and some are very bad. At times we have no commander. I was personally trying to protect what we had in EBG up until our Bl looked as sick as a parrot.

Seen some commanders this week I’ve not seen before so that could be part of the irrational behaviour. Possibly had an influx of players seems to be lots of un-guilded around.

I hear French Universities are on holiday so that explains why they have a 40 man supply group roaming in the mornings.

This whole match-up I’ve only been on our home (Gandara) borderlands, and a couple times on EBG! As I said, we lost 2 fully upgraded keeps at home once, and a tower, because both AM and AR zergs showed up at the same time.

However, I think we do have one commander (he’s in this thread) who likes to sneak over to AM. The zerg likes to go wherever it can get the most xp/karma/gold, so if AM is vulnerable they’ll go there and quickly roll over everything. Not everything is intelligent and informed strategy…

I also want to mention again that most of the irrational stuff comes from AR.. the prolem, for us, is that you profit from that too ^^ I wanted to film our raids so often.. but my laptop is crap.. there were so many funny incidents xD

But on the other hand.. the fights at our main keep was one of the best I ever had. Noone thought we would keep it. Then when we pushed GA out south into the water (after your 2 or 3 attack), I jokingly said “I bet AR is waiting there for Gandara to leave to attack the south gate after them”. Then when you guys swam away there was really a 30+ AR zerg waiting there. Also one of my best “wtf moments” so far xD

I spent the whole night screwing up AR borders. Conspiracies now? coincidental working together is it now :P? And Yes I get great joy at beating AM up, much like last night when I led the assault on your garrison and your North towers. The reason I do it? Mainly because when I command it’s with my guild now and we go to the most needed borderlands which is always yours OR Augury’s. Saturday was Augury’s, Sunday was yours, today was Augury’s. It’s only so coincidental because each time one server makes a push against the other, the third exploits the new found weakness.

Also had fun making Augury bleed trying to take all their stuff back tonight!

I was going to AR borders but changed my mind after that PRO guild visited Gandara BL while i was there.
Heh, a guild from AM comes into our BL and “magically” takes our stuff killing lord, that really made me mad, this is coward. So i move with guild to ur BL and take what i can without “magic”.
Now u were actually lucky that AR tryed to block us all the time, as you see, we are not fighting them, i could see that they are defending you.
Bay for example we were inside they came with a zerg from behind and try to kill us, some of us died and came back, wiped them all and took Bay. At Garrison, AGAIN, AR comes from behind and we failed, while u see on a different perspective.
I have to say that at this time i would rather attack AR since their morning zerg is way to big, but AM took our stuff in the most worse way that could had done it.
Also, i found in this forum other server had the same issue… orbs are gone but they are still arround

Sorry, but what is this PRO guild everyone of you speaking about?
I do WvW only at the moment and I never saw s1 on the teamspeak nor ingame. Should be a guild that may has transfered? I’ll have an eye on this today, hackers should be banned, even if they exploid for your homeserver.

Nvm, the fights yesterday evening at the garrison was epic on AM BL.
Never had so many bags after this short time.

Can only +1 on the [PRO] guys magicly appearing inside our Garrison without a mesmer. Luckily we have defense on all major keeps. Would be fun to see how fast they could cap rest of map if we hadn´t stopped them there.

Will continue to keep an eye for PRO´s. Not mashing rest of AM server cause you are a fun and fair matchup

Seems like there are some hacks going around this time. Hopefully Anet will be doing sth against it, bc its bad for all involved server (bad reputaion, missing points…)
