Just when it was getting good, I must server transfer due to TC’s full pop (friends and family getting the game for the holidays won’t be able to get on my server)…

Farewell all of you on TC, I had some great times. /salute to our enemies as well, SoR and BG for giving us a really great fight.

If the server pop goes down in the future, we’ll be back!

Not everyone takes WvW as this super serious all or nothing war, I happen to have friends within the guild and one of them sent me that screenshot in hopes of getting a rise out of someone on the forums.

It succeeded, it was a joke, please don’t take it for anything beyond that.

If a BG player, or God forbid, an ICoa, took a picture of SoR commanders giving orders and posted it here. You SoR, covenn first in line, would come unglued. You’d say we are earning our hackgate reputation, that it is the only reason we are winning because of hacks, that if we were really serious about not letting people hack we’d find this person, and publicly shame him until he moves servers. That we’d have no excuse because we had his account name right here on the forums for all to see.

Knowing enemy movements is much more of an unfair advantage than a single thief that looks like its shooting a few too many short bow #5 (the person frapsing probably had his effects turned down on his comp), or a few people standing in invulnerable spots on the map, but everyone goes insane about that on all sides. Yet no one even raises an eyebrow, in fact they condone it, and say its just a joke.

That thief was just doing it as a joke. And besides, not everyone takes WvW seriously here guys? Can’t you take a joke? Why are you so serious. He just did it to get a rise out of you SoR, and look, it succeeded!

TC BL last night (1-4am PST) was pretty awesome TC. We each had only about 20 players on the whole map so it made for a very fun back and forth between SW Garrison and NE Bay, not to mention more than a few skirmishes outside of Greenvale

I just want to say that after reading all 7 pages of this thread, I’m pretty impressed with TC’s folks. You guys are truly classy, even if your tactic of moving between Rogue’s Quarry, WC and Aldons in EB for 3 hours at a time annoys the everliving kitten out of me!! But then again, I guess that’s your intent. Either way, good to have this week’s bracket mixed up a bit. Helps us BG’ers not to rest on our laurels.

Anyway, I hope everyone here has a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. To those of you NOT whining about…well…anything – thank you. That’s a Christmas gift in and of itself.

Was on my Charr Warrior (full Knights armor). Just had a quick duel with an Asura SoR D/D Ele at BG BL south hills keep. Was more or less a stalemate until another dozen SoR rolled up and proceeded to flatten me.

You stuck around after the mini-zerg cleared and gave me a bow. That was the classiest thing I’ve ever had happen to me in WvW.

BG usually keeps the castle even if they pugs are dumb enough to spend 2k supplies repairing rather than 200 or less counter trebbing.

If so, then well fought. I normally don’t have much difficulty beating people in 1v1’s but you were pretty good. A bow was the least I could do to show my respect for your battle prowess. Hopefully there wont be a zerg to interrupt our duel next time. I shall see you on the battlefield, Charr.

Well, with the holiday’s this is kind of a “bye” week anyways. Though I think its doubtful you will win. I’m a bit biased though, being from Blackgate.

Actually just want to post some kudos to Choo for one of last nights attacks on our Garrison. Building an Omega Golem at our South west gate while a small group took outer watergate only to port up golem and all the attackers up to inner water gate was genious. It didn’t work, but my jaw dropped in amazement at the coordination and tactics used. And you were able to get CDS to take both our towers while we fended off that attack. Brilliant strat, cheers!

Thank you! CHOO and CDS have been family for a long time, we’re WvW addicts bad, lol. When Choo said they were hitting Garrison, they already knew I would strike elsewhere and get some swords up

We saw Stonemist needed help afterwards, so we decided to be a suicide distraction on garrison gate before our queue popped. You guys made sure it was a suicide rush! Good fights that night!

Everyone better be safe this Christmas! I look forward to seeing everyone back, friend and foe alike, on the battlefield after the Holidays settle down!

you guys hit us pretty hard earlier today on TCBL. once we pushed BG out of the bay and retook the southern half of our map, we did pretty well holding off breakouts from both servers. first BG once or twice, then SoR a few times, but when both sides got hit at once, we were put in a tough spot.

i tried leading everyone over to the BG side, so that y’all didn’t end up in the bay again, but by the time we got there, it was too late. then SoR headed up to the hills and put some pressure on us there, so we had to split our forces.

BG did finally manage to take the bay from us though, and then decided to hit CS. the NE tower is like my baby. i’ve spent countless hours there ticking siege and reading it stories. at night, i tuck it in under a giant blanket and give it a kiss on the dome. unfortunately, i was stuck dealing with SoR at the hills, however, az was kind enough to come to the rescue. once it was secure, and everything calmed down a little bit, i went back up there to make sure my baby was ok. there was a fresh band-aid on it, with a smiley face on it, which i’m assuming was taken care of by az. after i was sure everything was alright, i had to head out.

i’m going to be taking tomorrow and possibly the next day off though, to get some R&R in. this has been, quite frankly, an absolutely fantastic match so far, and i want to be sure i’m up to the task. i do want to mention, though, that i’m extremely proud of everyone on TC. it’s been an honor to work with everyone, and i’m looking forward to a lot of roleplaying in tier 2.

It’s been said many times before that oceanic is TC’s major coverage gap, one we seem to share with SoR. We really can’t spare the help, as much as we would love to.

BGs major gap is Aussie primetime time and EST NA Primetime where our stuff is taken because we have minimal defenders.
