Just wanted to be like all the cool people posting match threads hours before the actual reset.

YOU BETTER NOT MAKE A NEW THREAD ALL OF YOU HIP PEOPLE IN T5.

This is why WvWvW is a bit borked with the current system in place. People get tired of the same match-ups week after week until one goes up or the other falls down. Then said server dominates for a week or two until the score puts them back up a tier only to get steamrolled again for a few weeks, etc.

Anyway, interesting week and a rather interesting score. Almost the same spread of points between each server. My guess it will look the same if not worse come next Friday but with the same format of servers in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. That is unless EB just says screw it and takes a week off…

I liked the previous title “3/08 EB|BP|DR” or something like that, it’s a simple format.

I think the difference with this match up is, however, there seem to be better roaming fights overall, whereas Maguma/Yaks had much bigger sieging fights just due to sheer numbers.

I for one am enjoying this match up much more than other’s we’ve had recently.

Shoutout to SBZY. If there has been someone screaming on our borderland to get somewhere ASAP, it’s been because of you guys. You stick together real well and move quickly, attacking different places every time… keeps us on our toes.

Less fun than last week since there are a lot fewer skirmish matches at least in the Blue area of EB and no three way battles for SM. SoCo swapped maps after an hour or so, which left the 15 people from AD/NoQQ/BSty. If that qualifies as a zerg or getting “hit hard” then I don’t know what. EB has had insane amounts of people tonight, more similar to what we saw the last time we faced them when we would consistently see 650+ potential for them. They will get their fair weathers to come on, and yours will leave.

I seriously hope Kalkz has a huge amount of rams stashed away, or you will have more trouble winning this week.

So instead of fun skirmishy fights, all night we have been getting zerged into the ground to the point that most people have just logged. Been fighting out manned for the last two hours watching EBay PvDoor the last of our stuff.

I’m actually pretty disapponted when we’re really up. I logged in this morning to seeing us with +600 points. Not my kind of field of battle, so I lvl’ed my newb thief for a while instead.

I dont know about the rest of EBay but I know that the PK guild spent the entire night hitting DR. Sekz made made a rotation down there at least once an hour and Arriana Oakheart had a grp attacking their valley for a good hour as well.

It might have felt like you got singled out but EBay just had an amazing amount of presence tonight.

BP is getting demoralized because they are fighting people that are not NPCs or doors. Don’t cry because you were completely destroyed prime time. There were plenty of you to defend and attack. You weren’t doubled teamed. You were single teamed. This is not what a double team looks like:

I think part of the problem that BP faced tonight was that they had around 15-30 in Ebay BL and weren’t able to get a foothold when they could’ve helped you guys out in Eternal or your home BL.

That and we rallied for a show of force since we came in 2nd last week.

I’m sad I won’t be able to play until Tues night, going on a trip (my spring break) yay no more freaking midterms.

So BP good luck and keep up the good fighting, that goes for EB and DR, I’m sad that I miss half of the week playing against you guys.

I was on CD for weeks pounding Ebay into the dirt. Few including EBay like to fight when they are getting run over and out manned. I left T4 for more skirmish fighting in T6 and last week was a blast with the close scores. Tonight less so.

I am not trying to assign blame. I just prefer last weeks weekend fighting to this weekends.

Maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment. I made my debut in WvW during our bout with Kaineng months back (I’m sure DR remembers. They were there with us). What I saw when they owned the entirety of the map 24/7 was an amazing potential for exp and karma gain, and a suitably endless one since they’d be recapping almost as fast as we could take anything back. I for one will not be relegated to dolyak herding if I can help it, lol. The field is generally what you make of it.

We had a commander’s meeting last night and split different guilds up between all the maps. There was no concentrated attack, just guilds who work well with eachother in maps they felt they’d do good on. If you feel that BP having a lower PPT than DR had is a sign of us tag-teaming you, then you are not giving enough credit to DR’s defenders.

BP (HUNT) loves DR (EDGE). Good ppl should be on our server :p

I know, it must be a little embarrassing for you guys to have such a strong showing the first week, and then stumble pretty hard on the opening day. As for our secret alliance with EBay, well, it was pretty sneaky of us to nearly completely lose our borderlands to green, wasn’t it.

Granted, I showed up about two hours after reset, and yes, we were taking a couple of BP towers… mainly because you guys simply weren’t anywhere to be found. Try to attack EBay’s corner of the map? Get swarmed by Green Invaders intent on defending their fortified walls. Attack BP’s corner? Barely defended wooden towers with a few disoriented uplevels trying to keep us away.

Honestly, if I had my way, I would’ve taken your precious keep as well, and pushed you right off the map, but for some reason our allies were constantly running around in our borderlands, flipping camps, threatening our towers, and trying to put holes in Stonemist. At one point they even did a near full clockwise circle around Stonemist Castle just erasing our cannons and burning oil, before running even deeper into our territory, before we eventually managed to hammer them down near Mendons…

…of course this was all just a clever ruse on our part to bring up Orange swords in order to draw you guys out. Clearly BP didn’t fall for such a trick, seeing how you guys meekly took back a tower or two with a five man group, and left it to pretty much EBay to do all the work when it came to fighting for Stonemist Castle.

We didn’t have our regular commander meeting this reset, and the result shows the damage, weeks not over we will stay in the fight, I generally organize the meetings and I was busy during the regular time and I didn’t give a heads up for someone to organize it. Apologies for the poor reset performance because of our lack of reset organization. Don’t count us out

The only time we ticked above 200 was pretty much the first hour when we held SM. Then after losing SM to DR, EBay and DR focused on pushing us off the EB map rather than the usual SM fight that breaks out.

Again nothing wrong with the way things went down, but the fights on EB and our BL were zergy rather than skirmishes. Nothing wrong with that either just not my preference. I like the smaller fights and don’t enjoy spending most of the evening on the defensive bundling up to avoid getting run over.

I/we are not embarrassed nor should we be. Despite being less favorable fighting conditions, my guild still killed far more than it got killed.
