An FA Mesmer wasn’t being nice and was attacking me the whole time while the other FA just sat/emoted me or with me. Then when the giant ball came at me… I ran into them and used GS #4 + #2 before running for my life.

Or last week when we were amused at the caution of FA zerg slowly sieging the bay ,we did have numbers 6 .We even charged the trebs one time all died still able swim back in .After 20 30 mins your bay of red 30 40 50 dont know a lot had the temerity to charge the lords room.Point happens all sides so ..?

Seperate note can Kain have a collection and get the Kain player Chuck Norris to change his name he is ruining all the internet Chuck Norris memes single handled .

Could be wrong but think before reset i ran into him with Fa now seems to be Kain (last night )…but that could be mistake

That seems to be something I’ve noticed about Kaineng when WM wakes up, they like using LOTS AND LOTS of siege. To the point of using golems to take a wooden keep, which has damaged doors. Or hell, when they get the numbers not using siege at all at a fully upgraded keep!

Some great fights tonight and early today, tons of fun at Cliffside last night, and epic defenses of Hills on FA BL and Garrison on TC BL early this morning. Need some sleep but will upload some recordings later today.

For now, here’s a little 7 VS 5 from down at Lowlands supply last night, and one from reset night, a fight at Godslore VS FA. Great fights again this week!

That was me that got trebbed (the gold one). I was very sad…they hit me with a treb 4 times that night…

That was awesome and moving when I saw the super line of ballista in by Redbriar in TC BL a few hours ago. Awesome like it made me say aw. Moving as in I then went far away from it.

Mass defense, wowwie. I hope I see it more often from people who aren’t trying to knock me out.

KN does invade into TC borderland, and TC does invade into KN borderland. something allies would never do . whenever you see they don’t invade one another it’s because they don’t have enough man. that’s all….

I dunno about the other maps, but I command on EB from time to time and I don’t attack FA because they’re FA, I attack them because it is easier to take and hold Anzalias, Speldan and Mendon’s than it is to hold QL, Danelon and Languor; or Durios, Umberglade and Bravost (since that would potentially sandwich us between two foes). When TC was up there last week I went after that real estate just about as often as I do now. The NW red corner is a keep’s worth of PPT and easy to defend if your team is strong in open field combat.

I was in command for eight or nine hours yesterday (tandem with a KO commander from about 10am-12pm EST and then by myself from ~3pm-10pm) and it was my observation that TC was more willing to strike at FA than us. Still, attacking TC was a dicey prospect for much of the day. They had enough strength to make holding their towers difficult, but not always enough to keep us away from them in the open field. I think at some point yesterday I flipped every tower on the map (except Languor) at least once, and there was only a handful of serious forays into our territory from either team. I tried to push mostly TC when I took over between 2 and 3pm, but that NW corner is mighty tempting when you’ve already got a blue tower and camp, are trebbing Durios, and need to kill a few minutes and keep the zerg happy.

tl;dr, it’s nothing personal, I know we need to take points from TC first but sometimes that means being able to exploit FA more quickly than TC can.

Eh, it’s okay… I don’t care if we’re being double teamed, or not being double teamed. Still having fun with my 3 FPS during big zerg battles. Just wish I wouldn’t crash before I could pick up my lootbags…

Last week I trebbed Bay on TCBL over and over and watched as both FA and Kain took turns flipping it. It was entertaining. That open wall was very tempting, too tempting, and it was predictable that one team or the other wouldn’t be able to resist its siren call. Our team, meanwhile, had no interest in Bay during that particular time frame, so it was an easy way to keep the KN and FA zergs occupied while we did other stuff.

So yep, I breached Bay wall last week so Kain would go contest it. But I later breached it again so FA could contest it.

I play on the side of FA and can appreciate if I lose something to a good strategy. The thing to the tier is that we are closer to actually playing the game as intended across the three servers. This reveals the actual flaws and frustrations behind the system itself.

Factor out the orbs themselves as those were part of the system but taken out of the game long ago for the sake of consistency and awareness of existence and we can talk about what we have left.

In a decently ran universe, a borderland is going to be attacked from two sides simultaneously. It will 100 vs 100 vs 100 if that is the map cap and it created the intention. Defenders fighting a war on two fronts, predisposed that when the enemy enters the map, that each place or location is fortified to add up to the map siege limit.

The system encourages defense and line-playing.

The defenders would have to divide up evenly to fight smaller, 50 vs 100 numbers, always as each side would be evenly contested. The fifty defenders only having a chance due to the advantage of prebuilt siege to make up for a lack of numbers.

This encourages enemy zerging and region-assault style of playing.

Problem is that in history of military tactics and warfare, no defensive force has even won a war on two fronts, but they have been able to hold against larger, more offensively organized populations. Just not enough to retain everything…

I don’t think the siege limit on the map allows the full defense and sieging of all locations on a map well enough to defend against the many zergs or the people to make it happen in this situation.

The siege limit would be reached before one can place all the superior siege on all the walls outer and inner and all sides of the keeps as well as towers, camps and even blockades…

So I do believe the intention would be that all areas in a BL would be fully sieged and at max upgrade status to receive two full enemy groups at map cap. The trade off would be defenders would get a lot of loot bags while offensive players would take locations if played right to reset upgrades and the game is over when defenders lose their northern side along with garrison.

It would be nice to set up an event where one map is at map cap from all three sides, the BL is fully sieged, fully upgraded and ready to go, and we could take turns playing invaders or defenders in a more structured environment to see what the true limits of WvW are…..and how viable the system truly is.

We all know that zerg vs enemy tower without siege and filled with paper walls and gates is usually one dead tower.

But it would be curiosity, as these three servers are borderline close to playing as a tier the game as it is intended…just need more guilds, players and smart saying for it to make it happen…then we can truly see how much fun the endgame to WvW truly is

Epic fight at the South East starter camp on FA. Good fight guys.

This is my last recording from reset and I think many of you from Kaineng and FA will remember this particular fight in Garrison because so many of us got disconnected right in the middle of it, you included.
