We enjoy the battles, everyone keeps an eyes on ppt. But as mentioned, it’s a blast in T2. Opponents, battles, and fun. I mean, perfect mix. Keeps game very enjoyable, about the community isn’t it? And this has to be one of the best communities (cough tiers)

Server-wide truces are selfish, especially during prime time hours.

Many people only have a few hours a day to WvW. To log on and find no fights because someone is organizing a PvE event is kind of crappy.

If you must do something like this, schedule it for the off-hours, like before noon.

One player’s off hours is another’s primetime.

If you want to party with another server, use guesting. That’s why the feature is there.

Since you won’t be fighting others, there is absolutely no point to schedule your event in WvW. You can do it in PvE, and not impact the play of others in WvW.

Might be a tad difficult to convince everybody to stop competing on the last major NA Primetime window of the match.

Here’s hoping the Tier can come up with some kind of solution for WvW Completion for all of us though.

BG’s strongest timezone has always been their European which completely nullifies our second strongest timezone (TC). Which means we had 1/4 timezones to complete in (NA) and unlike FA, BG’s NA was similar to ours i.e. they played longer hours and had more west coast players. This is why the scores were like they were, not to mention BG had some extremely skilled ‘complete’ guilds and in my opinion much better defensive response times than either Kaineng or FA.

Like seriously..do not give them way-points in your borderland.

Kai turned into a superserver overnight though, of course they’re gonna have fun. Although most server that went up against em didn’t exactly share the same sentiment till they met Blackgate and TC :P

Well there’re a lot of gold sinks in the grind for legendaries. 12g for transfers could just be another one: Gift of the Traveler.

Back to the original arguement, kaineng’s main focus in Wvw is not ppt or coverage. nor do they focus ppt as much as Tc does. I do believe TC’s main focus is ppt. Now that i think aobut that wouldnt a bunch of roleplaers be more into the battles on the field then sitting with more towers and camps and playing a numbers game?

But focus has little to do with it. When three servers are matched up you need to test the victor in each individual timezone and unlike this match-up there wasn’t much changing in that match-up on a daily basis across the four timezones.

NA: #1 BG, #2 TC, #3 Kaineng
Oceanic: #1 BG #2 Kaineng #3 TC (interchanging 1st and 2nd)
SEA : #1 Kaineng #2 BG #3 TC
European: #1 BG #2 TC #3 Kaineng (interchanging 2nd and 3rd)

We had no timezone where we were dominant in. Kaineng had SEA and BG had the other three.

As you can see BG’s strengths completely nullified our strengths. This is why the scores were as they were. Throw in other factors such as

- TC has improved in meta, gained population due to patch and individual transfers
- TC had lost quite a few fairweather PVE-ers sitting 3rd in T2 for a while (getting stomped by SoR in a 1v1)

Kaineng does play for PPT they might not burn themselves out as a push towards T1 because I think as a server they understand they are not ready for it just yet. If they wanted to could they win T2 with bigger margins? Sure. I think they can win T2 with margins of 15-25k above 2nd place if they really pushed hard but I don’t think they want to burn themselves out BEFORE they hit T1.

By any means it would not be a blowout, which is why this is a very competitive tier. I dont consider 15-25k margins a blowout.

Wow TC, amazing push today. Every borderland im seeing tons of organized zergs from TC and rarely from FA.

We need to get together more now to hold you guys lol.

we do play for ppt, but just enough to keep us above TC, that’s all…. we mostly play for fun, as an example Meow had GvG with uA last night in TC borderland….

If you are going to complain about numbers, you should have transferred to T8. This isn’t an organized guild vs guild. You deal with what you run into, as you needed to in T1. No need to bring such negativity to T2 considering you’ve just recently transferred.

Call it pride or self-respect or whatever; but I’d rather win a week because we fought for it and won, rather than the enemy deciding to try something new and lose purposefully. It wouldn’t be a victory for us, it’d be a big slap in our face in fact, and yeah all those “riding/sucking your whatever whatever” accusations from the 3rd server. And given the fact that it won’t change anything for the next week due to 13 rating gap between TC & KN at the moment, it won’t make sense. I’m sure most of TC can agree with me. I’d rather have us give our best against the toughest odds, and lose than have victory handed to us on a platter. Atleast we could smile that we did our best, than grab a easy-mode victory.

To whoever is planning to do anything similar to this (if there’s anything like this in plans)- please don’t embarass us as your opponents. Let’s not defeat the purpose of WvW.

This is really a nail-biting moment for TC.

However, FA definitely brought more pain this week. I’m sure once the Adventure Box mania fades off, they’ll bring even more in the weeks to follow. Great fights from all 3 servers this week.
