No your guilds didn’t shift, you kept on stacking up week after week. Instead of guilds moving to other servers you were bringing in new guilds, so let me ask you this. How is this any different ?? And don’t you dare argue about the state of guilds stacked in JQ. Any server from T1-T8 knows about it.

Also, the reason SoS split up had nothing to do with coming 2nd or w/e kitten you are throwing at them. The coverage gaps which SoS had became very pronounced after JQ had their final transfers before free transfers ended. You have absolutely no idea the effort it took from us when we were in SoS just to barely manage 2nd or 3rd. All the work we used to pull up during the SEA/Oceanic hours would be completely lost everyday we woke up. And we endured it like you said for 4 weeks before finally deciding to give up on it for the sake of our sanity. Most of our commanders were pulling insane shifts fighting up and still every morning all was lost. So, don’t you think one bit that the 4 weeks SoS endured is in any way similar to the time you were 2nd.

I don’t think we have failed miserably in t1 and we’re hardly out of contention this time. Last week wasn’t a bad performance and right now we’re not doing so bad either.

The time BG got to t1 before this I thought everyone on BG fought hard and tried their best. You can’t ask for more than that regardless of the outcome.

I would imagine that many on SoR would be pretty frustrated to see so many SoS guilds pass up the chance to join SoR’s “family” but you cannot begrudge an entire server of people just for being on a server where other people chose to transfer. Or maybe you can, your choice.

But you haven’t answered my question. You have instead engaged in a form of logical fallacy known as “poisoning the well.” BG’s performance history in t1 has nothing to do with SoR’s current plans for t1. You said there’s a super duper top secret SoR plan. I can’t imagine what it would be except to tank the match and play in t2.

Well I jumped into gw2 late thinking it was going to be my next Dark Age of Camelot. Needless to say I was wrong… I have been disappointed by the lack of other groups roaming BGs like you would see with 8mans in DAoC.

My desired playstyle is not meant as an insult, because I know the amount of planning and coordination that is used in an SF main force, but I have no fun doing that sort of thing… let alone when you have 100+ people in an area and you have skill lag… you want to kitten off a PvPer? Prevent him/her from using his/her skills lol.

If you are looking for roaming groups from BG, check out guilds like RIOT and oPP, they are small guilds focused on roaming with around 5 people. Also as another poster said, if you are looking for small group fights, better show a different guild tag than SF, small groups tend to avoid you because we thought you are just vanguards of a large force.

Yeah, GW2 just does not promote small group fights like DAoC did. Anet could make some simple changes like making group buffs only work for party members or give more “realm points” for solo/small group kills, but I think it is pretty much a pipe dream for small group PvP’ers like us. Tier 1 is very hard to be a small group in, and only the old school, hardcore PvP’ers can handle it.

Saw you guys briefly last night outside either our spawn tower. Looked like you were running 10+ though and that map was a poor choice. Our spawn area was being camped and when we got out we took NW, N and NE camps without seeing a soul. When Choo is on a map it’s just 500 million people in one group and no one anywhere else for SOR. Boring and Talentless

EU primetime is only about to start. Also, we got bored and called it after 1 hour of pvdoor last night where 0 jq or sor showed in the lakes, so I imagine our EU guys are doing something better with their time today. To bad its the day where JQ decide to come out and play.

Sorry about the thieves, we try to bring some balance to our groups but I think you might have caught us at a bad time when most people might have gone for a break

The ranger has been impressing us a lot too, he normally plays an elementalist and he was level 1 less then a week ago. We’re both still trying to figure out what we can really do with a ranger but it’s been a great learning experience. To see somebody giving props to a guy who only just picked up the class means we’re on the right track

As for Riot, they’re our brothers… some really great players to hang out with and to fight along side with

Well, we never claimed to be meta game specialists, we just go where the fights are. I don’t follow what happens to our zergs very closely, but I believe our numbers dwindled as the evening progressed to the point where the SoR and JQ zergs overwhelmed us. That kitten coverage gap between NA Pacific and Oceanics, I tell ya! Good fights last night though, our 10+ (12 at one point for a bit, then back down to our usual 5 or so) had a good time in that BG!

Shout out to EMP and our old foes Strike Force. You guys had us chasing our tails for a while there on JQ BL last night. Good fights, classy opponents.

I sat back and watched the 3 of you guys wreck a group of 8 or 9 and realized I was going to have my hands full. If you ever see TSFR running about its probably me running solo (thief) or with my ele guildy and very rarely do we have a full group out and about. Hope to run into you guys and Opp again soon. I’m not sure if that actually counts as an action to prevent you from getting kicked due to inactivity. I have at least two documented cases (screenshots) of this occurring. One with an oceanic guild on BG and one with a small guild in TC that liked to use the CD on gates to stay hidden and rez their mesmer.

In both cases, I roughly timed how long the mesmer had remained there dead and around the inactivity timer, the mesmer would lose a pair of pants or something. However, shortly after, they would either respawn or get kicked due to inactivity because their body disappeared. Either that or they just both randomly decided around the timer to respawn.

This is assuming that they are both not a part of some conspiracy to hide the fact that this does indeed work, and by tricking us few people that watch in a couple of cases, they can more easily abuse this feature. If that is the case, touche exploiters, you have bested me this time.

Our small group’s run into you guys a couple times. It was your Thief group as well…if I remember correctly. We’ve also run into a group with the tag “PHD”, pretty decent players as well. Always nice to run into other small groups. We pretty much never run with more than 5 in a group. Alot of times smaller than that.

Speaking of small groups, does Caora Dhubh still play on SoR? We really enjoyed playing against them last time we went up against SoR. Haven’t seen them since we rejoined T1. Did they transfer?

I wasn’t even aware this was a thing… Was this taken last night (Oceanic time)? We had maybe 10 members on last night being a non WvW night so I doubt his ‘exploiting’ was put to any great use… Besides, he’s dead.

Regardless I will look into it.
