Okay, seriously. The moderators what some constructive conversations in these threads. But we can’t play nice soo.. lets just not have a thread this week, or any in the foreseeable future. Everyone gets it. We all hate each other. Lets take that hate to the field, not behind walls of text.

After logging in and reading what’s become of this thread already tonight, I couldn’t agree with you more. Sadly it really seems to be a handful of really annoying people who ruin it for everyone else and the more reasonable people who just want to have fun are sick of these weekly threads being dominated by negativity.

Its one thing to have a little trakittenalking to hype up competition when its done in good fun, and its another thing to be a sore-loser or an arrogant winner. I guess this is why the threads keep getting locked , which looks likely to continue until some of the repeat offenders are muted.

I found a carebear! These creatures are indigenous to being bad, but nice because of it, they are what you call khao, which is soft white rice in lukewarm water. It has no taste. Befitted to small babies and very old people. It is nourishment that everyone can digest. The world needs khao, just as the world needs people like carebears.

We had at least 5 engagements last reset with minimal to no interference and they were all decided in about 6 seconds each. We probably wiped you a total of 15 times that night just in our BL. All without our 1000APM professional Starcraft Korean guild leader. You killed a grand total of zero of us every single time. Congrats downing 2 or 3 Sekz in one single fight (the one by south ruins)…your guild/server dies so EZ they rallied in seconds. My guildies get super sad whenever we lose our 25 bloodlust/etc stacks. Jerks. BP’s record as a server isn’t great in this regard. Sekz loses more stacks to disconnects/crashes and porting between maps than to actual BP players…by a long, long, long, long shot. I’m super bummed about losing stacks when we port maps…it must be like how you guys feel all the time. Darned map port…wiping my stacks…so OP!!!!

Point being, you are in no position to brag about anything because you guys are a dumpster guild. Descensioned into the DUMPSTER DUMPSTER DUMPSTER! I don’t know why your memory is so bad since we farm you all the time. My memory for Sekz wipes is really terrible because I can count on 1 hand the number of times we wiped in the last 2 weeks. Maybe 3. It’s not very often. Charr can’t remember that far back.

Go back to terribad Warhammer. WvW is a game for RvR experts like me from DAoC. It’s patently obvious how clueless you guys (especially your leader) are about WvW.

Amazing fighting in Eternal tonight. AR and Ebay tried really hard to bring the pain to our corner. We managed to take and hold Wildcreek for the first hour, though Ebay got it back in the end. What resulted was hours of pitched battle for Anzalius Pass.

I can’t really explain why it happened. I can only assume that the Ebay Commander, and the AR Commander (on occasion) assumed we would simply abandon such a strategic point. We were starting to call it “the Battle of Anzalius Pass” towards the end. You guys were trebbing it from Stonemist, catapults from the vista, rolling up on it with 40-50 man zergs. It was madness.

By about 10 PM, the Borlis Eternal Corner was all that remained for us points wise and the pressure really poured on. I had to initiate some really intense attacks against Stonemists walls to kill Ebay’s trebs, some of which were on the third floor decks. And when not doing that, launching lightening raids on the supply camps while the bulk of us tried to hold Ebay and AR off at the bridge to Anzalius so we could get supplies to repair the walls, as Spledan was always running low.

I am attaching a screenshot of Anzalius as of 1 AM, after nearly 5 hours of sustained attacks by AR and Ebay. Was an epic battle, but in the end, we held. I don’t know what guild uses that symbol on the flags, but honestly, the rampant lion sigil is quite apt.

I’m still waiting for the day when AR WAR commanders realizes that the enemy in this tier is Ebay not BP for gods sake, I guess those WAR all they care about is 2nd (POINTING AT KAERIN)

Well, that was good fighting at bp bl tonight.

Props to bp for not giving up even though all their borderlands were taken.

At least they know how to retreat. Half of us [SLVR] folk (all like eight of us) will run into mobs to rez someone or hang out in doomed towers far too long lol. Then either fight or flail about madly, afflicted with whatever sort of nastiness has been bestowed upon us by our foes until death.

Alas our habit of crashing fight clubs, while getting better since I told everyone to watch the windmill areas, still prevails as well. I’ve actually stopped in for a few that I managed to catch. They look fun.

ebay just capped BP bay because AR were at inner hills, Plus those Ebay had unlimited trolling (throwing rams on my dead body & jumping each time they kill me -_-) i was highly considering flipping all AR BL at night everyday due those AR commanders who act like, Ay we should be working together, Then u find him at your inner hills after 1 hour. But now i wish if i can port golems between borderlands to flip both of the servers, im so confused and sick of this tier

Impressed with [BURN] guild. You guys can pull some crazy numbers at this time. Many more than I thought.

what you saw was maybe half our grp from last week we did a check to last weeks numbers and turns out we pulled 91 members into wvw which we was real happy with but is still under the numbers we brought at 1 time =(. Also we have been working hard on overall team tactics within the guild and some of them are really paying off.

As Walabone said BURN is not WVW focused (Unfotunately!! lol) we are PVX guild so we got all kindsa crap going on lol

Wait a second, BP commander wants to drop down a tier? Why would you not want your server to do the best it possibly can? Reality is I doubt this is the sentiment of the majority of BP players. I don’t believe that EBay would do poorly in T4 because the landscape of WvW is constantly changing. I also don’t think you are aware of the amount of build up in WvW DH has had recently. They would do just fine in T5. But, glad you have it all figured out.

What changed for you guys?

New pop influx? Thrill of rising a tier? New enemy? Learned new tactics from new enemies since separating from BP?

Honestly, having fought AR for awhile before coming up to this tier, I can say they are about the same as always. The difference for them is that all three servers in this tier are fighting and the larger server (Ebay) is focusing a desperate effort to knock Borlis Pass out of the tier. This allows AR to pretty much do what they want, which is to say, the easy thing by attacking our Eastern Towers while Ebay is zerging the west.

For example, just now we were outmanned in Eternal. Ebay rolled up to Anzalius, and shortly after the Crossed swords appeared on the map AR rolled up on Ogrewatch. Honestly, its a pretty silly strategy since you will just be getting DH to replace us. Which will last all of 1 week, maybe 2, if they make the same showing they had when last they were here, and then you will be right back to fighting BP again. I suppose though, it could give Ebay the time needed to escape back to Tier 4, but I doubt it since you guys have been consistently losing ratings for the last 3 weeks, while BP and AR have been gaining.

What happened is BP got soft having a weak target to sponge points from and can’t play actual WvW when you have 2 solid opponents.

That’s pretty much all that can happen based on the WvW ranking mechanism. Servers matched up against each other can only ever steal points from each other, meaning nothing short of complete and utter domination can result in movement. You understand that we have to beat you by a margin in the order of 60-70k on the week just to stay even in rankings, right? That’s not exactly a hollow victory, and yet it’s not enough to do anything other than lose points to you.

I couldn’t care less if it’s BP or that AR falls, to be honest it would be just nice to have some fresh challenges. And by the appearances of how DH is doing in T6 they aren’t exactly going to be a pushover coming up here.

Anyway, the question was pointed at AR, and it was an honest one. We’ve fought you both, we’ve fought BP independently of AR too and what I’ve personally seen from the 2 servers doesn’t add up… you two should have been much more back and forth in previous matches if this is what you are capable of. BP has grown leaps and bounds tactically since first facing us. They also had more lead time to learn and adjust to the matchup, and yet I find AR more capable of strategic unpredictability and more able to keep an enemy off balance. This isn’t to say I think AR is the clear cut better server, I’m just saying that what I see in match history doesn’t jive with what I see on the battlefield. What gives?

-Sekz, you do have some skillful players indeed, but you have you also have numbers. And you are chest bumping against a guild that are not a bunch of hs/college students like yourselves, but instead people that are way to old to bother feeding into your post =). So chest bump away, and zerg on! Also.. way to up-transfer to an already higher populated server in the attempts to leech tier advancement. That’s the way to win!

-Ebay, Borlis Pass is the only server that constantly hits you in this tier. It’s sad but true, i have yet to see AR even any keeps in your BL. With that i wonder what your server prefers.. a server that actually engages you daily, always pressing the fight, even if we aren’t generating points to move up a placement.. or a server that cowers and just lets you eat them all up?

AR doesn’t hit EBay in the middle of the night, but they attack us a hell of a lot more often in force than BP does during the day. I’ve had to call for backup in home borderlands against AR more than I have for BP.

Prior to week 43, that’s 5 weeks, where Anvil Rock would trade beating FC and BP and sending them to T8. If memory servers me right, that’s 4 wins vs BP. They had a really large surge in homegrown recruiting and maybe one transfer guild.

After that BP started to beat us pretty consistently. But in the same way Ebay is winning this Tier, greater pop., that;s how BP was able to beat us.

As for this tier, BP and AR haven’t change much from back in those days. If you look back, there was always a weak 3rd server that allowed BP to roll over them and feed off points. The difference in this tier is that BP can’t feed off that 3rd server.

Tactially, AR has always had less , we play for 2nd . So we’ve learned to adjust quicker. BP typically leans on its massive pug zergs to get things done. (see Kalkz) When it can’t throw numbers at a problem, it shows.

Borlis Pass moves to T6 if DH wants it to happen. DH can take a week off every 3-4 weeks and never move into T5. Look at T6, looks like DH is taking a week off
