I’ve run into a few good [EDGE] players, but the other roamers I’ve seen running around have died to me in 1v2 and 1v3s… a ranger at that. A mesmer buddy and myself wiped four [EDGE] (which is still the biggest group of you guys that I have seen). So while I like to pride myself at being good at what I do, I’m never impressed with a group that lets themselves die in such helpless fashion.

So either I’ve been fighting the wrong [EDGE] roamers, or you guys have some people in your guild who aren’t carrying the weight of a guild that has “never been wiped on fair grounds.”

Faux, if your mesmer buddy was Potato then your numbers are skewed and the win is null and void, enough said.

I do not want to start more ranting and raving, however I don’t post much and simply read/take everyone posts for what they are. Does anyone else see this?: BP seems like the big kid on the playground who talks about being able to beat everyone up, only to be kicked in the seed and cry for hours. Just my two cents, I could be wrong but it is how i interpret the posts. Good luck to all!

1) we of EDGE are on the hunt for Ehmry flesh, in terms of server points, I do notice that even thou the map is green, you are still stuck in the same tier as us and are losing points overall

2) I stress on the part that we are HUNTING you, please understand that to hunt you and slaughter you is different from issuing a guild vs guild battle, which we would most humbly accept at any given day

3) Yes we took the superior tactical route of upgrading a camp, which you let us do

4) If you are incapable of making a judgement call NOT to charge into a fully upgraded camp, please do not whine about getting slaughtered, because you had a FULLY UPGRADED BAY with npcs of your own and CANNONS…did EDGE charge your lines? no we dont make tactical errors as such….

5) Oh yes we slaughtered up levels….I suppose we are to let up levels go? are you sure you want us to do that? alright fine…how about we wont hit you till you hit us…which in this case you and your Ehmries CHARGED us…so we defended ourselves and killed you or them….what other handicap would you like to suggest for us to kill you more?

6) Our intention is to gut and cut Ehmries down till we get your attention and formalize a challenge to take us on, equal in numbers and fight in skill, last night, we met a impressive Rekz elementalist whom we dueled 1 vs 1 at a time, and if he represents the caliber of players in Rekz, then once proven, you will have EDGE’s respect.

7) Yes yes, you wanna whine, you wanna complain, you wanna thrash talk, but we accept your challenge, FOR THE NEXT HUNTING SESSION, we will be hunting you in the open field because you are complainning about a fully upgraded camp VS a fully upgraded Bay….I really fail the see the logic in shooting off your mouth if you could have just retreated into your Bay, let us come out and fight us on the open field….but no, you charged us multiple times….I will not be responsible for your slaughter if you want us to defend ourselves….

You may have heard of us, you may not, and it matters not. I come here to address troubling rumours and whispers I hear in the air. Our guild EDGE, will be venturing into your fabled homeland in WvW from this week onwards, on the hunt for Ehmry flesh, We will be stalking your forces and will KILL any Ehmry we deem fit to stand against us, I wish to disprove the rumours that you need to outnumber us 2 to 1 to kill us, for if our numbers are around equal in a fight, you can never defeat a borlis….please prove this wrong, for I had already sent a hunting party into Ehmry so far, and the rumours appear true….4 of us fighting off 6 of Ehmries proved too difficult for you…

There will be plenty of time for you to prove your skill, and we will be watching….waiting…and hunting…bring your best skill groups when you see the tag EDGE, we will be waiting…of course we welcome the wipe out from your zerg if you deem if a must to kill us by outnumbering us by the droves….

Everyone is saying how awesome their guild/ server is, and how this guild/server is backstabbing them that’s why they can’t capture this or lost this keep/tower.

Everyone here is like some sort of CSI forensic officier or analysist or something since they can tell how good/bad that guild/server is because they are near a camp with NPC which is on their advantages and disadvantages, just by a look of a screenshot.

Again people. No one/guild/server sucks in here, it’s just that someone/guild/server is better than the other someone/guild/server.

You guys talk like you are about to CAPSLOCK each other to death or something. If you can type that long, on how awesome you/your guild/server is, How about capturing 1 whole enemy map (excluding EB) and get a screenshot. Don’t have to brag about it. The SS shows it all.

I bet in order to do that, people would go for the weaker server which is currently AR, capture the whole map, and SS, and start bragging.

I sense the old classic “fraps or it didnt happen” sentence from the [EDGE] guild, all the screen shot posted is not a display show of skill. I would rather say its more like " yay i killed 1 upscaled [GH] with 4 lvl 80, and hey doesnt matter right since he is from GH" and 3/3 screen shot u hve more numbers and the first SS you post, there are veterans helping you guys or u guys being pushed into the camp, 2/3 SS you outmanned Ebay and look all of them have upscales.

the thing i learn from looking at ur screenshots is " Hey we are a guild that utilise tactic to beat our opponent which includes having the veterans helped us, kill the party that have upscales, because they are easier to kill and still counted as 1 body? rofl

Ya know, it doesn’t take a genius to see that we did poorly last week because Ebay was sitting on us, and AR is doing poorly this week because EBay was sitting on them. That is, they were until BP drowned the forum in chest thumping.

This is just… embarrassing.

For anyone who reads this wall, u will understand the past couple days on the score change.

Yes, while the chest pumping Is sad, what BP has said for the past 2 days is mostly true, in the commander only section of BP we had a discussion and decided to pull focus from ehmry to hit AR. We as a server have by ehmry 90% of the time for the past 2 weeks which is the result in us losing ground on AR, but as a whole making ehmry have a smaller lead on the 2nd place team.

We sacrificed our score In hopes AR would follow suit. All AR did was trash and say that we are falling apart. So yes we got fed up, we switched focus that night. I commanded from midnight pst and regained all BP keeps with a qued map, we moved the Zerg to AR border, wiped all AR with an omega and dozens of superior rams. Then we went to eternal and took SM then AR’s keep, cleaned their towers, by this time AR was just finishing cleaning AR border, so we went back and retook it all again with the same omega golem. Then back to Eternal, then back to AR then to eternal…then we had to clean BP border from ehmry taking a tower at 730 AM server/pst. We gained 5-6k on AR while I was commanding, when I woke up we had gained a total of 10k since midnight, we are at this time of the post, around 25k points gained on AR since that final decision (not 25k up, as we were about 15k behind AR then)

No Kalkz was not leading, I was. Kalkz was back home in BP border upgrading And keeping it clear. Kalkz chest pumps and to other servers is the main person on the block, every server has those. Is it wrong? No, it’s intimidation and in my mind a completely acceptable thing to get under the enemies skin. Kalkz is a great commander, but in no way runs the server, we have 5-6 solid leaders that all take a great part in Borlis.

You realize you are stating the obvious. Everyone who WvW knows that Ebay is bigger than BP and BP is bigger than AR.

Instead of being leaders and continuing to focus on Ebay. Your ego’s got the best of you, and you felt the need to put AR in its place, 3rd. Weeks from now you’ll learn you lost more in those 3 days than you gained.

that being said AR can say the same IF they had stopped pressing our BL when ever ebay hit us BP would not have decided enough is enough and turned there sights on AR.

K mate AR only has them self to blame for the focus shift, myself i wanted to hit ebay constantly but did not wanna drop out of this tier but with the way AR was focusing us MORE than ebay it was gonna happen. Im not saying your not fighting ebay cause you guys are but when it got down to it and ebay took our attention you guys took full advantage of that and hit us at the same time, now who ever was commanding and making those decisions should be slapped with a fish cause tacticly it was the lesser of 2 evils and its bitten you guys ion the kitten now.

I admit, I peeked at the score after a series of CoF runs to see that it was below 150, and I squee’ed cause someone was fighting back.

After reading all this I’d like to suggest an experiment that I believe all 3 servers agree should happen. For the rest of this week, starting today, BP and AR agree to strictly focus on EB. It is the obvious startegy for this tier, it has been suggested countless times, and I’m sure even EB would agree it makes sense. BP and AR agree to stay out of each others’ BLs, send parties into EB’s BL, and work together in eternal. Just until Friday.

Its been discussed before, but I doubt it will happen. Unless its 4 AM, its pretty tough to fight Ebay simply due to their huge numbers. This definitely makes it hard to run a Karma train and Ebay subsequently gets all their stuff fully upgraded. Borlis Pass has the numbers to fight Ebay on more or less equal terms defensively during peak hours and offensively during the off times, but AR does not seem to feel they have that same level of ability. We can make platitudes that it would be a good idea, but at the end of the day the moment Ebay rolls up at Anzalius pass and those crossed swords go down, I know AR will be at Ogrewatch 5 minutes later. Which is why I always have at least 5 people in Ogrewatch to lob rocks at them when they do show up. Funny thing is, the moment that happens their entire zerg usually turns around and goes back to Umberglade.

2) IF other guilds (as a whole) were as motivated or organized as Ebay, Ebay would be in trouble. The fact that we have a public TS AND IT’S GATHERING DIRT AS I TYPE because guilds are split between TS and Vent is a source of contention on our server.

We want to get destroyed. Borlis is under the delusion that we think we are going to tier 4 to roflstomp them, wrong! We want to get CRUSHED and DEMORALIZED over and over and over. Borlis doesn’t bring that to the table.
