I can’t get into EB to get my daily jumping puzzle fix.

It’s about time, for once were not the once getting nightcapped.

You will get daycapped , when the all blacktide russians wake up wait for XAOCs!!..i know coz i had them done that to me :p

Oh they just woke up. They are trying to take some stuff back, and succeeded at first but are getting pushed hard now. AAAnyways, I’m heading to bed as I live in Europe and at this time my night-shift is over (due to extreme tiredness!).

It was fun fighting those guys though. They have numbers, some tactics, but they die like flies. I mean, seriously, I’m fully tank-specced & geared, and they seem to all be wearing lvl1 armour or something. Well.. Thanks for the 131 badges I got tonight I guess!

Not sure Im happy about our new nightime/US influx on deso tbh. Sure noone likes getting spanked and we had some very hard few weeks with massive nightcapping aka french server or hacking cheating ones like SFR or kodash. But now we are just becoming a night capping server aswell if we have to rely on US guilds to get most our points at night time, becoming what we loathed and moaned about for a solid month.

That and now the fake aka sunny day pvpers are all out in droves, we have Qs again in the evenings and very active wvw, now dont get me wrong no Qs but noone in wvw wasnt a good thing, but at least it was usually good pvpers if you did find a fight or grp now its back to mindless zergs with pvers hunting silver and XP more then anything.
That and we all want balanced good fights this week, as the majority of us play from 6pm-12am every evening and if deso nightcap and blacktide do their russian ‘morning cap’ then by time its prime wvw time for most of us then its just gona be lame and the main scores and fights are never gona be around that time

I agree, I saw a certain commander last night being all “No worries guys, we got this!” while holding Titanpaw and I was like, “lol, where were you the last two weeks while we were getting spanked?”

Thing is, our server needed this if people genuinely want to be in the top servers. Unfortunately the higher you get the more important having a night force becomes. While our nightcapping might look crazy in this tier, in the top two it wouldn’t be out of place at all.

It is looking like this week is going to be a “late night vs early morning” cap fest.

I’m conflicted. Part of me wants to be in the top two tiers so that at least we come against big forces even in the night, hopefully meaning more meaningful battles all through the day, the other part of me wants all these people who flock to wvw when we win to go away again.

All I can hope is each server has enough people on at Deso prime time to at least be enjoyable, even if the points aren’t going to matter so much from that time period, all I want is to have fun.

RUIN come from, and was all but solely responsible for , a tier 1 server. We took a 2 week hit setback by moving to Desolation in the hopes that we can fill one another’s off hours.

So not trying to be a prick here, but you are mistaken if you think your success in tier 4 has attracted hangers-on.

Ahh, gotcha. My apologies in that case. That was actually a big reason why we left Eredon Terrace. When the going got tough, we were the ONLY ones out there still fighting.

Ye im not having a go at RUIN, yous seem to have your heads screwed on, had some very good fights in EB just a few mins ago with a grp of yas(I assumed yous only on during nighttime till I saw few of ya;s earlier) but Im just kinda saying well now we are winning and doing well again, and ignoring ruin totally for a sec Im wondering where these long Qs are coming from lol, im seeing so many random puggers appear and barking out stuff in team/map chat and it kinda vexs me that they were nowhere for a few weeks when we were in dire needs.
Me being bitter maybe, but Im not sure i want them all back clogging up Q times when they will vanish the next time we have a hard fight(which will defo happen soon enough if we start going up the tiers again)

Unfortunately with the way the system is set up right now this is all but impossible to avoid. As soon as you start winning and going up in tiers, you get queues back.
The best hope is to be able to go back to tier 1 and then lose there, but not by too much… so you stay in t1 but the ones only fighting in easy conditions check the score and don’t bother to queue.

There’s one guild in particular that were particularly noticeably absent during our losing weeks and now they seem to be back in force and walk around like they own the place in WvW. Really grates.

I really don’t understand why a guild like RUIN would move to an EU server to WvGate while the rest of the matchup is asleep. Sounds to me like having no real opposition would get boring as hell pretty quickly.

You’ve not been in T2/1 yet. The only way to stay in there is to have a nightcrew.

wvw is 24/7, the best servers all have nightcrews, ask the frenchies with their canadians at vizunah and arborstone.

We tried to build a 24/7 pvp force on ET for weeks and weeks so we could be competitive in tier 1, unfortunately the problem with recruiting people for those spots is that no one really wants to leave their server. So, if we can’t convince enough people to come cover our deadzones, it makes more sense for us to go cover someone else. Eventually someone needs to bite the bullet.

Unfortunately the servers in this tier 3 match don’t have comparable forces during our playtime, but understand that we’re investing in the future. We know that the servers operating in EU tier 1 all have strong 24/7 coverage, and we are planning and preparing for that match up.

Xaoc from Blacktide just tried getting into Ascension Bay on AR borderlands by using the underwater exploit. Pretty sad tbh. I guess this is what you try to do when you are losing to us in primetime, huh?

The fact that the whole Blacktide guild Xaoc would try to exploit into AB and risk getting an entire guild banned is just sad. Why would you do this Xaoc?

I thought Xaoc were supposed to be their best guild or something? Why would they resort to that

Probably frustrated, still very lame of them using an exploit on AB.

They have been using every tools at their disposal for weeks, not just in your current match.

Like any large guild, they have bad apples..but well, in their case, they have a lot of them.

It’s always funny seeing people toot the victory flute over other people’s accomplishments.

Maaan, the queues on Desolation are suddenly soooo long. I kinda enjoyed it when I could just jump to any map any time I wanted.

Victory does that to Desolation, kind of a bummer.

Lols, we’ll probably be meeting Desolation again next match up i think :p

According to the match maker, we jump you into tier 2 and you drop into tier three.

If it stays this way next week is Arborstone vs Desolation vs Riverside and Kodash vs Seafarers Rest vs Blacktide

Sounds like a fun matchup

Arborstone should be happy about our american population. The queues right now are 10 times longer than in European prime time.

Since we don’t fight against Deso and SFR both Hackers have left Kodash again (no idea where they are now).

I’m not sure about Ruin, but all Vizunah does not have as many Kanadians as People think^^. At least there are no Night-Queues. The other 2 T1-Servers are a german Server with no Oversee-Coverage, but they still managed to beat Arborstone (which does not have canadians either, well atleast not enough to battle a small german nightshift).

So T2 would be mainly PvDoor, since Riverside does not have a strong nightcrew and well Arborstone has some, but they fought against augury and desolation and caught them both in a bad position, since both servers where demotivated from latest fighting which is a bad thing if you need to stand against a server with an organized nightcrew.

And actually it looks like Elona ist leading during canadian primetime, although it is weekend this seems a bit odd. I have no idea how much people of RUIN do WvW, but if it is only half of the people they will have more guys in WvW during their primetime than both opponents together in every european tier.

Just for comparison. Kodash has about 50 People online at 5pm and Riverside about 120. Riverside reached T1 with this :P (although most of them left the server as it seems).

Multiple guilds on Blacktide trying to exploit into DB, is this how the unstoppable russian zerg works? A guild member will be posting a vid. And they still aint winning.
