I solo around the map quite a bit… perhaps we will bump into each other… already had some nice 1v1 fights against RoF and GH mesmers.

Great opening night. This could be a fantastic match-up.

You wiped us. We wiped you. RoS tried Hills and failed, GH tried Bay and failed. The fights for your Garrison, the trebs at Stargrove, the siege of Greenlake. Much, much fun.

Special shoutout to [RiOT], [FA] and [VcY] for keeping us entertained this evening. Haven’t seen any [DEX] nor [FRS] yet, looking forward to meeting you on the battlefield.

On Behalf of CHvc thanks for the great night chaps! Spent a while on RoF borders, after capping hills we then moved on to help on our own BL and met some old friends on RoS!

In fact my first (perhaps harsh) thought was, how can these guys criticise Vizunah when they just fight just as one-dimensional?

As for tier below only have zergs of 30 ppl – that’s because they are second bottom tier and cannot bring any numbers. Arborstone is a server that got reduced down to nearly 0 people some time ago and dropped half a dozen tiers in a row, and Whiteside Ridge was always a small server who lost the only decent sized guilds they had months ago.

Everyone just wants to meet the new guys.

Are you joking me with this? We are blobing? We had 25-30 ppl with maybe few ppl from outer guild… And thats your comperison to VS blobs? I am sorry but you can’t be more mistaken… And for your lovely words to Arborstone and WR the fights we had was with similar numbers and great fun in all honesty… They have a better skill lvl then VS they know their way around doing stuff and it was the most fun i had in wvw for weeks fighting against the zombies with my first spell skill… I am now able to fight with all my spells = fun

And for the tactics… Give us a dancing ground and we will dance with ya bro… If you stay put and try to range us down… Im sorry but we are gonna run right in to ya=D

So im sorry if im creating any type of flame type chatter here but you gotta know your facts better to come and do such a criticism against us…

Other then that i had a lovely time fighting both sides on our BL it was hectic and so much fun. Oh and man do you guys get your objectives done Kudos to both sides… Keep up the fighting =D

Oh and honestly the same thing goes to you… Both sides got more skill then VS when it comes to fighting…

I don’t think you understand the difference between a zerg/guild, and a blob…

a zerg/guild consists of about 30 ppl (somewhere between 15 and 50)… following one commander

a blob = several guilds fighting together that make up almost every single person on the map in one big blob

You may be surprised to know that RiOT only had 30 ppl max at any one time. We were fighting almost exclusively as a single guild… although we had about 5 randoms tagging alongside us who kept on coming and going, most of the night we only had about 25 RiOT people fighting (just count the number of dead after our wipe at Bay in the photo – approx 20 ppl? plus about 5 ppl left standing).

As for splitting up into little groups… I never saw GH split into little groups all night except for one camp capping group I bumped into on my way to joining my guild when I first logged in (about an hour after reset). We were fighting greater numbers of foes most of the night… what did you expect us to do… try and fight that blob in the photo with 5 people? We are RiOT not bambies… we joined RoS from SFR not Vabbi.

I reflect the sentiments of Nae… was immense fun for most of the night – except the blob – GH and RoF both have a lot more skill than Viz… and it is really nice to fight ppl instead of everyone running away from us all the time (Viz and Deso only fight you if they are in a blob – and WR are very defensive players – which is not a bad thing for WR because their server numbers are low… unlike Viz and Deso who have no excuse).

I am looking forward to battles with PRXM (outside of the blob)… they seem like a very capable guild…. pity my first encounter with them was the blob situation.

RiOT don’t usually run with the numbers we had tonight… normally we have 10 max and most of the time it is closer to 5 or 6 spread out throughout the day at different times. It is only guild events and resets where we have more numbers. Which is why I spend quite a bit of time soloing about the map. So don’t worry too much about us.

There are always going to be a lot of exaggerated claims it’s no worries Guilds will claim to have no more than 10 on in an evening and then appear with 30 (not in reference to you btw, despite similarity in numbers lol). Numbers tends to be the main culprit in a matchup related flame.

Regarding the GvG – we are only small (and like it that way), so would only ever be able to do 5v5 (probably 4v4 is more reliable) but we do enjoy such things. However if you are looking for larger numbers then potentially CHvc/PRXM would be a better bet, but that is of course entirely up to them.

We hyped you guys up a lot in the last day or two and tonight was the result. We came prepared and all our guilds (and unguilded) threw everything they had at reset. Don’t expect that during the rest of the week, maybe in EB but for the most part the numbers will be a little more sensible. Most GH guilds are less than 15, the exceptions being CHvc, PRXM, and MM (maybe NNF too) who can all field 30 man groups during their events.

Most of the time though you’ll encounter our smaller guilds who tend to run anywhere between 5 and 15 players, look out for them because they do hit hard and are always up for a fight.

As for the numbers issue, it’s all a matter of perspective. RiOT steamrolled us when we first got in to bay and you probably had double our number. Also, i believe when you got zerged Bay was the only non-Green keep on the map so it makes sense that all of our forces would group there for the final push.

If this is your definition of a blob (Everyone on the map + Multiple guild groups running together), then yes your guild is doing it. Your server is definatly not split into any kind of groups atm.
Atm most, if not all of your server are just hopping zone, wiping/recapping and repeat.
We just had around 20 guys come for us, despite being only 2 people in the zone.

Not criticising how you play, Just don’t moan about things your doing yourself.

RoF just don’t have the heart for WvW which is sad i have had enough of it 3/4 don,t listen to commands the other try as best as they can its not worth the aggravation or time so have fun for the week i probably go elsewhere.

Most of the 3/4 mentioned will always be the first to run with tails tucked and not care about the team so to you lot thank you for you lack of guts or pride.

After 4:30 gmt +2 we ran with about 10man group. Met couple of ~20 men groups and many ~10 men groups. Don’t blame it on the numbers
Anyways you guys did very well on the reset, GH and RoF gets my applauses for it.
Looking forward to a nice week and by the looks, the matchup will be pretty much the same for more than one week only!

very challenging reset. It was really fun. At one point RoF had outmanned buff in EB and still managed to keep their entire corner + rouges as GH was focusing our corner, so kudos to both RoF and GH.

Actually Bars have right. 3/4 of RoF are PvE player that are going to WvW just do to JP. And if they fight, they dont know who, why follow.

But on the other hand, because of our low numbers, and i dont mean outmanned but most guilds have 5-10 members online at same time, we had to adapt and improve our skills against bigger groups. And thats why most WvW players on RoF are great. And most of the pug on RoF are, well something that is not good.

I agree with what your saying, but bars using sweeping statements like he did is just not helping, as you have said the WvW players we have are great and it’s always sad when a commander feels this way, wasn’t flaming, and I know how frustrating it can be when people don’t understand the basics (taking supplies from keeps etc when there is no need to is my pet hate as I am one of the few who spend hours running around repairing upgrading, escorting etc.), but anyways left turn our attention to the other servers I hope he doesn’t disappear we need all the commanders we can get. But I don’t think flaming our own server on the forums helps that’s all.

Sorry, but what are Viz tactics? I don’t know their playstyle, never cared how t1 actually works, and you made me genuinely curious now.

That’s an interesting comment, given that most of our teams actually are not ‘trained’ enough to ‘blob’. Are you sure you’re not simply projecting what you’ve seen in t1 and what you’re used to onto this matchup?
We did have an amazing turnout, in general, and high numbers on the reset, but that’s simply down to two factors – new server to fight in the matchup and the reset being 2h earlier.
Curiously enough, i didn’t have any lag, skill nor any other, while in RoS bl, so i guess it’s still not as bad as in t4+

We had three guild teams in RoS bl, two big groups and one smaller, plus some friendlies. We did try to split a number of times, and we even did, but then we had you guys besiege Lake or hit somewhere in a team stronger than either of our split-offs, so we called reinforcements, fought you, and then split again

In general, complaining about numbers or tactics seems really silly. If you want limited PvP, play tournaments or wait until Friday and call out for a limited GvG, i’m sure some teams would respond. WvW is designed to be an unbalanced mass PvP. It’s not like we’re complaining how you wiped us at our first Garrison attempt, mainly due to superior numbers, are we? We learned the lesson and were faster next time :p

But really, the bottom line is: been very enjoyable so far, so don’t get fixated on who wins and how in a massive PvP environment, just enjoy the fights and meet new people. No reason to bring the ‘numbers argument’ into this all

I have to say, seeing Riot calling out GH for blobbing (after half a day) is pretty weird considering Riot puts as many numbers out allone (30-35) then I have seen in the average GH zerg.
Had a really fun reset, we spent most of the time fighting on our borderland and had some really nice fights.

I heard some rumors that RoS think we have an alliance with RoF, that is not true and stop causing drama and QQ like crazy all the time, logic reason is why both servers focus you because you are blue and ofcourse Green doesnt want you to lead in points and red doesnt wanna stay in Last place, its normal for the blue team to get focused by both servers and one more thing we only focused you because we wanted to Fight VcY and RiOT thats all, at the end its all fun and games.

Well, what a smashing reset.
I had some good fights here and there, running with a combined team of FA and ELDa about 6-8 people strong.
Started up in RoF bl to bunker up in the tower and actually make you fight for it. Then going to reinforce our BL, but couldn’t really do anything big there, apart from flipping camps and scouting. Anywhere we stuck around for more then 5 minutes we would get wiped by one of the few zergs running around.
In the end I think we did pretty well as a server, considering the amount of love we got from both servers. Remember it’s our first reset since the new guild joined and so far our cooperation has been splendid! I absolutely love Vcy! The fire brigade thing gave us some manic laughs.
Anyway, here is to hoping this week will be a good, solid and even matchup. Though i think RoF is heavily outmanned. Lets make the best of it.

You having a bad time in a borderland makes you say this , our server will never go focus on guild hahahah you just made my day tbh , a whole server focusing a guild that guild must be a real threat hahahahaha, We dont care about RoF at all they have no means of beating us the only good guilds in your server are VcY and RiOT and they will eventually beat us and am happy in being second place and fighting those 2 guilds. and FYI i never heard of your guild until you showed up in this forum whining!!!
