This happens every sunday. yes, sunday night here. Monday is horrible, we need prepare for the worst senario.

It did not happen last week, because its our first week in T1, we were so exicted. now, everything back to normal.

plz relax, we are 16 hrs earlier than NA guys, we traped in early monday, benefited with ealy friday. this is going to be fun.

SBI takes over from SOS:

The big problem for SoS and JQ is that for some reason both servers aren’t making much effort on SBI’s borderlands. Work got so sick of it last night we left our assigned map and went over there for a couple hours to establish a base before returning to our map. Then it was promptly lost within a couple hours.

SoS and JQ got to really rethink the SBI border strategy.

SBI is putting up a great fight and yes we do have people like Bouncy here but, not all of us feel the same way it does. Those of us who enjoy a good fight and a challenge will be there every day, win or lose. You don’t get better by fighting people you know you can easily beat.

This week SoS won’t have a 1 time only event to skip in full force and jump 30,000 points instantly with. The larger portion of their lead last round was acquired during the 5 hour period when everyone was fighting that stupid giant crab for 20 slot chests.

The guild FotM is a PvE guild created on reddit to help players find fractals groups. People usually only represent it when they are trying to form a group, and the guild is comprised of players from every server. Still, this player likely represents another guild so if you have information on which that is, we can work with the community to purge this person from any reputable guilds.

Make sure you report such players using the ingame report function so Arenanet can deal with the individual.

No offense taken. Considering the source, I’m ok with not taking your advice and asking advice from more familiar and reputable commanders. The issue with the golems are being dealt with by us and should not be addressed by other guilds that aren’t involved. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

He’d have to be pretty dumb not to use an alt tag. His account is theblindmonk.3027 so hopefully Anet can get on it and ban him. He built multiple flame rams in SM and then went and burned all the supplies in Anzalias building another 5 rams in useless spots shortly before Anz was attacked. I don’t want to say by whom because it might sound like an accusation and it was just as easily coincidence. Hopefully its something that goes away instead of becoming the new norm.

A few weeks ago we found someone build rams in the middle of nowhere, people assumed he was from a server we were facing. Turns out he saw one of those video’s of flame ram trains people built in beta and tried to start one. Some people are trolls, some are bored and some are just not too bright.

Only Arenanet can say with authority, but my assumption is that this is a violation. In pretty much every MMO same faction griefing has been an actionable offense. This is very similar to that. Even though they’re using in-game mechanics, they are using them to grief players from their server which I’d imagine Anet takes issue with.

Yeah but it is the kind of thing that is based on assumptions as well. I think it would take repeated violations for Anet to do anything, sometimes like someone stated above, they could be new, dumb or just having weird fun. Kind of thing hard to prove on a one time basis.

This is an internal matter for SBI. Keg (a commander I respect a lot) said that that kid was maybe someone from elsewhere (in response to an accusation that he was from some SBI guild. Then Cover Girl (another commander I appreciate a lot) reacted to a perceived unjustified offense to our partner servers in T1. We are all on the same side and probably thinking alike. Nothing to see there. Oh, and I also have the utmost consideration towards DD.

Sheldon is right. I should have waited one day and talked with Cloned first before pulling the trigger. I acted too rashly, and should have talked with them first. I made a mistake , one based on the fact of sos and sbi BOTH having incidents of sabotage, and wanted to call attention to it asap to prevent more incidents. The misunderstanding of a newer player and myself has been dealt with, Cloned, Sheldon and I have sat down and discussed it and moved on. Thanks DD guys for being so prompt and understanding

PRX were on with an army of 6+ golems on JQ BL, 30 minutes after reset on friday. If that’s a casual week…

Some of us are having a nice “relaxing” week of fractals. Gotta get those rings!

So SoS, how does it feel to have SBI do their old “you siege a place for a few hours we swoop in and take it kthxbai” tactic on you guys several times?

It isn’t fair, but hey war isn’t fair, but maybe now you’ll understand why the hell we are all so kitten confused on JQ that we get double teamed all the kitten time.

SBI must have a pretty darn good PR machine to keep them so squeaky clean reputation wise cus I rarely if ever see people attack them when they are open. If, god forbid, we leave our flank open for a second its attacked immediately by whomever is hungry.

Probably the reason we are so jaded. Countless times I see us push into SBI lands only for you guys to attack our flank instead of attacking SBI elsewhere. But, whenever SBI attacks us you join in on the party.

Last night we had to try and defend you guys attacking dawn over and over while sbi attacked our bay over and over. Obviously we would lose one. Funny thing is the entire time SBI was rampaging over all of your territory.

First and last wvwvw post I’ll ever make cus in about a few seconds I’ll be called a whiner or a brat. Personally I don’t care. Just pointing out the obvious that you guys clearly cannot see.

Not going to call you a whiner or a brat. What you see as an opposing team isn’t the whole story. Often it seems like a server is 2v1ing, but in reality there are smaller less noticeable actions taken by others. Jade Quarry has a reputation for piggybacking of SoS attacks but in reality they fought bloody hard at DG with SoS so it isn’t true it just seems that way.

That is the thing with WvW. If you push into enemy land and do not have adequate forces then you’re going to get bum rushed from the side. SBI tends to flip keeps and expects to lose them but the point of flipping is to get rid of upgrades and deprive the enemy of defense.

Play for fun, just try to relax and take it as it is. Just a piece of the game that should be fun man. Plus, people who call others who voice concerns whiners are just lame.

So much fun today on all maps! SoS and SBI are great servers to play with, since it’s never a case of 2 servers rolling one. We all fight constantly.

What happened is a tactical error I assume the leadership will sort out for next week. On Saturday morning EST we were up 3k. However SBI literally had their own borderland entirely owned for 8 hours straight. The guild placements were a bit off.

For example WORK was placed on SoS border. I honestly don’t think we were overly needed there. In fact we got so annoyed by all the red on SBI border we went over there for a couple hours…sieged up our supply camp and eventually got our keep and garrisson back.

I believe next week we will see more planned effort put to JQ and SBI borders with a couple more guilds in them. It’s a balancing act….I’m sure JQ and SBI will probably switch things up to.

Perhaps the biggest lesson SoS can take out of this week is that we have to be more flexible about guild map assignments on the fly and be able to adjust appropriately to maps that are getting overwhelmed.

Pretty sure JQ is a fast dying server. Me and 40+ guild mates quit this game within 2 weeks.

I’ve been saying we have spies for a while now, not necessarily from SOS, but we do have them abundantly. “Miss Baddog” on our server hasn’t figured it out yet despite it being pretty obvious.

SBI commanders, and potentially other commanders. Heads up on the spies and saboteurs. I just caught a player (Rize Star from [DD]) taking a golem from the garrison, walking to the vista and dropping to the right onto the rocks. Once he did huge damage to the golem, he went into the water, swam to the kraits and ejected. I know SOS complained last week about people sabotaging them, and we had issues the week before. Keep eyes everywhere, poor sportsman running wild.

I’m 1 of the member from [DD]Azshara guild in SBI. I’m not the guild officer but im one of only few english speaker in my guild.
You’re missing a point that the golem was made by the member Rise Star of DD.
He’s not a spy of course. he was just playing around with the golem was made by Rise Star, and he was driving it around to learn how to operate the ‘Golem’. Than accidently fell off the cliff. I really can’t understand how a person make a golem with his own blueprint, check out what’s special about it, accidentally drops it into water, eject, than accused of being spy.

I’m really disappointed that a ‘commander’ has posted this sort of thing without verifying with us.

We established DD guild in SBI at the beginning of the open beta. we’ve been with SBI forever. I would understand if you didn’t know about our guild because we recently downsized due to activeness of members, and converted from wvw guild to pve/wvw/community. Also idk ikittennow some of our commanders or not. We would like to have a explination and a proper apology from you.

I have to say, JQBL was an absolute blast today!!!

I was there for 13 hours today (insane, I know) and the battles were so heated, and crazy, and desperate. There were quite a few times when we at SBI almost lost it all. We fought tooth and nail, and so did both other servers. It was an extreme blast.

Throughout the day, the battles changed so frequently and so fast, it was unreal. One minute both servers would be bearing down on Ascension, the next, the battles were all at SoS territory, and then to the north, and so on and so forth. I honestly have to say that it was extremely rewarding to fight there. Props to JQ and SoS both. You guys fought hard, and it showed. All three servers had Outmanned throughtout the day, but that never stopped them from fighting like they had 80 allies behind their backs.

Knock SoS back to tier 2 will give us a wake up call. I think we got lazy cruising to the top.
