I think there are guild groups out there that do a fantastic job but I inclined to agree that the pugs militia who lock onto a given commander do the best job of all. They bring with them the collective skills of their own big and small guilds tinto a cohesive group.

i dont wanna get any compliments in right now, just interested in it.
i have looked through all 6 pages of the thread so far and have not seen a single guild from elona reach. would like to know your honest opinion about a tier 1 server in europe, we have a couple guilds running around in wvw but i guess their not just as outstanding as others? at least from my point of view i feel like we got a fair amount of whipes from IRON, KAZ and so on but also whiped them some times.
like i said im not trying to get compliments in or anything, just would like to know how you (vizu, deso in particular) feel about our guild raids.

For me the ER guild that left noticeable impression is [reno]. I remember one day a while ago, when we got wiped like 2-3 times in a row by them. We had our problems that day with lack of essential classes, absent veterans and group size in general, but hey, who cares, right? Wipe is wipe.

Not to pick one out though, I’m usually in a rage mode while in combat and don’t keep track of guild tags

[UvL] is another tag tat gets distinct call out in our TS when noticed.

I think Aegis is a good guild from Elona….but like Yaro said while your incombat you dont look at tags that often just…..see red=kill them asap but i try next matchup.

Not me. I watch tags. If I don’t know who I’m fighting, I’m at a disadvantage. Certain guilds have blindspots or weaknesses that other guilds don’t. Have to know who’s who before you fight!

Good point. Though there are a lot of people in the raid who warn about level of danger ahead, then it’s just a matter to changing your mindset from “relaxed” state to “focused”. There’s not that many tactical tricks, and good guilds are capable of pulling out most of them.

WvW
LUN

WvW is on any server. Don’t like them.

For Gandara (tier 4): DIUS, Yak, CM are my guess.

Which guild force are you most likely to be killed by? In other words, who rolls over you most consistently?

What guild has a even chance at killing your guild force? That is a much longer list…some of those would be:
FEAR, HB, WM, SF, CRNG (Carnage)

@hex….ye knowing your enemy is ofcourse a advantage on the battlefield.
Guildtags that i remember are the ones that impress me the most.
In T1 EU only a few guilds that need my focus ……MOS/WL and Aegis.

And they will be called out on TS

While on subject, it’s harder to tell good guilds who have 30 players blobbing an objective rather than 5 players trying to take objectives while outnumbered most of the time.

And for those, a special shout out to [Cake] on SFR, seen them doing some work on outnumbered fights, I think on even numbers they are a really tough nut to crack, I personally fought them after switching to Deso and they’re currently one of the strongest roaming squads.
