Um…..why not? I would really like to lose my Engi’s hobosack. I would be irate if they removed hobosacks for all races except Asura. The hobosack goes less well with asura than it does any other race.

We should make an anti-hobo sack post on every sub-forum… repeatably…

They’d only get merged back here in one, easy to ignore location :-P

They can just reuse the hobosacks as back item skins, maybe something from a collection or purchasable in gem stores.

It’s not that we want them deleted from the game (some people like their look). It’s that we don’t want them forced on us, especially since GW2 is structured in a way where high-end/endgame rewards are often of a cosmetic nature.

Livestream, they already went over engi. (Necro right now, Ranger and Warrior left).

Hobosacks are replaced by handheld items (syringes for Med, grenade cluster for Grenade, bomb barrel for Bomb).

Med Kit gets new 1, 2 and 3. 1 is a cone heal, 2 is an area buff (uses a pylon visual). 3 is a buffed version of old 1/2/3, unless I’m mistaken.

Mortal is now a kit you can run around with.

We get F5 toolkit slot for elites. Orbital Laser for Mortal and AoE Moa Morph for Elixir X.

Supply Crate is a turret skill now.

No, hobosacks are gone, but all kits have handheld items now. I mentioned only the ones that didn’t have one before.

It was well coordinated in my opinion.

Even though the current grenade kit animations already -have- a space where a grenade could be put. You know, a single one, not fifteen of them. Your character would actually even chuck it up and catch it in his / her hand. But instead we get a whole strand of garlic balls.

i agree with sold out, its still ugly.
its still look low tech and doesnt looks good on armor.

please redesign it anet, i dont want to hold bomb in my crotch, and i dont want to hold garlic balls,

please make it some kind of gun, syringe gun for med kit, grenade launcher for grenade, sticky bomb launcer like demoman tf2 for bomb….

And for those few people who loved them—at least the starter back skin that you can pick for engi resembles them pretty closely. On an Asura I hardly think you could tell the difference…
