Hi I just made a guardian and have 2 quick questions.

1) Is the dps build for guardians (PvE) stickied in this sub forum up to date and worth following? If not what is?

2) are there any disadvantages with norn guardians in combat? Like getting inside an enemy’s red circle to use GS #2 skill since the norn is so large?

2. every class/profession has the same hitbox form the tinyest asura to the biggest norn

Norn guardian is a problem only if you make a female one. The female norn voice actor did a bad job on the guardian’s shouts, so it is really awful to hear a female norn guardian shouting “Stand your ground” and other things.

Oh, and there was a mith in the past where people believed that norn guardians do less damage than humans on whirling wrath, but that is maybe because the norn’s character model is larger so its harder to position then perfectly inside a mob’kittenbox.

Some testing done by one of our forum member showing that the combat log records only 12 hits from WW on Norn and Human Female, Charr and Asura Male. When tested against a real player your combat log displays the same except that the opponent’s combat log records all 14 hits.

Either a bug with combat log or with less projectiles on the aboved mentioned races/genders.

I probably shouldn’t have made a max height max width norn male then.

Guess I can always get a makeover kit and make him min height/width and see how it goes
