Berserker Fix?
You should read around the game updates, but basically there was a line of sight issue with the beserker which has been fixed.
Swords of Villianousity [SoV] ~ SoS
i think people got tired of mesmer being able to get them off there hideing spots in walls where there able to kill/hit us. i still see archers/eles able to hit/kill people over a wall without los. so why was the bers. such a problem when rangers/eles can still hit over a wall?
I believe the rangers/eles have certain skills that have a wider AoE radius than other classes. That doesn’t mean they dont need LoS, it means that if they can get the centre of their AoE close enough, then that range gets extended to the skill’s radius, allowing to reach things further away than any other class. The problem with beserker is that they could lock on a target and continue to hit them until max range regardless of what was blocking them.

The bug that needs to be fixed is the bug that resulted from the line of sight fix. Since the “fix”, the beserker whiffs and misses it’s opening attacks on a very regular basis, drastically lowering the damage the beserker does.
To answer your actual question takatsu, no, it has not been fixed yet, and no, we have not been given any information about when it will be fixed.
Considering we were told there would a fix for mesmer clones not having world map completion stars over their heads multiple patches ago and there still has been no fix for that, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
My honest opinion, as cynical as it is, is that anet hopes that if they don’t bother fixing it for long enough we’ll just give up complaining about it, and new mesmers won’t know how horribly broken the skill is to begin with.
Vendris, I couldn’t agree with your more.

yeah even with other classes, i don’t see them fixing things soon. they have said about many bugs that its going to be fixed but nothing happened, and some players wanted to complain about it as a stealth nerf lol
Yeah i was referring to the damage numbers, not the los change. even though los sucks but we have to deal
I think you’re referring to this post OP:

As far as I can tell, they haven’t adjusted it yet.
thanks for the replies guys
We need to keep complaining until the fix these bugs. I’m fine with balance nerfs once they get rid of all the bugs. Why oh why did I get map completion!
Guild: Commanders of the Reborn Empire Nation [CORE]
Level 80 Professions: Mesmer, Warrior, Thief
I’m still having the hardest time trying to decide whether to play Warrior, Thief or Engineer while I wait for them to fix my Mesmer.

I hope this isn’t the case. That would be a character issue on Anet’s part.
Anet is just totaly disrespectful towards his players.
They dont bother to really fix so many class bug, they dont even bother to have a descent team to work on skill.
Thoses who work on skill are also totaly incomptent, they dont even look, and think to make smart update, they just do random cra-p skill update
Its more having a “balance skill” log quota rather than really doing their job.
I dont have enough strong word to say how its desapointing to not caring that much about their own customer and doing a so BAD work.
( when i think that SOOO many players would love to do fix skill / update them / balance them for free, its outrageous see Anet people who are PAID for that and who not even do 0.005% of their job )
If its to do something SO BAD better do nothing at all.

Don’t fret. One of the devs slipped that they have two (2) designers to balance 500 skills and 480 traits. With 2 (two) designers to do that for PvP and PvE is it a wonder the necros have reached 100 bugs in their thread?
That so many traits don’t even work, or work erroneously?
That patch after patch only minor things are done, and fixes touted are proven to not do what they advertised, AKA fixing.
Two designers…. for 500 skills… This is a very simple and basic ‘You bought the game now, so shush, or go play something else. We don’t care now the cash has been spent’.
Lets face it, anet is working on xmas content instead of fixing all the bugged dungeons and classes.
the mesmer should have been hotfixed on the weekend and the fractals dc issue should have been fixed by now, they just don’t seem to care. Such a shame

yes like wtf is up with this? How many more weeks/months will i be dealing less damage with iZerker than my freaking auto attack? And what’up with Mind Stab? Why is this **** even in the game? GS has 4 skills instead of 5… Everyone including me complain about mes lack of aoe spell, HI, MAYBE CHANGE MIND STAB TO A 5sec aoe spell that inflicts bleeding per sec and deals damage? seriously… And lol at Torch/Scepter i think they don’t even try about these two.

There’s a more recent comment on this here:

I’m not a fan of conspiracy theories, but.. Do you really believe in that? Or was it damage control after the cat slipped out of the bag?
The original post was quite clear while this one massages what was said to give it a better spin.
Ultimately we must see not words, because words are easy, but actions. Since beta how many bugs are waiting to be fixed? In how many classes? Does it sound like a team of devs is working on it, or two guys balancing and fixing 500 skills?
If you’re asking me personally: just look at my previous comments, also in that thread, I’m totally with you. In the end, it doesn’t matter how many people are working on it, they just don’t get it right.
