Hey everyone, here is a mesmer class guide written by Sanderinoa of [rT]. It is a bit more dungeon focused and should be useful for both new and veteran players a lot.

As much as everyone hates the gs even I find myself using it in some dungeons. It’s easy to hate but it takes skill to use it and still be effective.

Why would someone be paid to put together a guide and then bash a weapon which some people are going to insist on using? They didn’t even bash the completely useless warrior rifle.

A very informative extensive guide.

My dictionary says it’s basically the same thing…

“Portal Exaunt” should be spelled as Exeunt, though.

The wiki however says that

The damage bonus for six superior runes applies for any summoned pet, such as Glyph of Elementals or Sigil of Demon Summoning, but not for illusions.

Was surprised not to see Rune of the Traveler mentioned. While it’s not optimal for maximising damage output, it looks like a very common choice for generic PvE because of mesmers being extremely slow and having broken swiftness and broken blink.

Its there now, its there now xD and the wiki is outdated, ranger runes were updated as far as I know. Ill edit the portal exeunt now!

It’s really just the lazy man’s rune of the centaur, and rune of the centaur is really just a map completion/wvw roaming utility skill for mesmer. There’s absolutely no reason to use it in dungeon PvE.
