• My mesmer sometimes watches a Warrior taking mobs down in less time/effort.
• She never used swords, and her main choice is a GS.
• She tries to jump off the highest places into water to see if she can make it.
• She always mixes her armor sets and rages about the color differences.
• Spends way too much G’s.
• Thinks the witch sounds like a Dalek.

My mesmer thinks that since she has powers to use, she may as well abuse it… So in this story MesmerA (name undisclosed for lawsuit reasons) is travelling in wvwvw and see’s a zerg of enemies as well as allies. The enemies are inside the castle while the allies are out. Having trouble with the gate MesmerA starts thinking of ways to help. She goes next to a cliff and looks down for a space that’s small enough that in just one wrong step death awaits. Finally she finds one and puts portal down. She hurries to her allies and yells out, “Guys I was inside use my portal to get in! Come beside me so you don’t get left out, I’m dropping it in 5 secs!” In 5 seconds most, if not all, the allies were never seen from again.

-In dungeons, I will intentionally use my time warp right after a boss spreads AOE confusion.
-Sometimes I just throw out three staff clones and then /sleep during boss fights
-My guildies all hate me because they aren’t mesmers
-I am planning on rolling a memser alt. I will wait until I have a spare set of gear for him and enough gold to craft him from 1-80 and then do so when my guildies are offline. Next time I party with my guildies, I will bring him out, and insist I am playing the same character I’ve always been, and have no idea what they mean when they say my sylvari is suddenly a norn
-I refuse to fight other mesmers, and mesmer bosses like lyssa. I refuse to kill something so beautiful
-I tried playing non-mesmers. I don’t understand how anyone can stand not being a mesmer

Yesterday I was participating on killing Quatl and as soon as the battery phase came in, I got a little, naughty thought.. I should just use my temporal curtain to accelerate myself, and close it right behind me..
Of course, I didn’t do that.. I was just thinking..

… Then I proceed to criticize everyone else characters for not matching up to my coolness. (Except skcamow. Leaf dreadlocks allday errday!)

I have 2 80 Mesmers.

So when I get bored playing my Mesmer, I switch to my Mesmer.

I love skyhammer.

I randomly go around casting Mind Stab (or any of the GS abilities apart from #4) whenever it’s off cooldown, in cities or anywhere, because on an asura the animation is pure bad kitten.

1) i’ve done death drop portals in lions arch more times than i care to admit

2) illusionary elasticity is the most op trait in the game

3) i’ve only moaed someone once in pvp as a troll

4) people have flirted with my clones before

5) i love it when after i kill you, you say in mapchat, “i hate mesmers so f***ing much”

I lost sleep trying to think of a practical use for Disruptor’s Sustainment.

I have never used the skill Illusion of Life.
I could never resist to urge to press F on a portal regardless of where it takes me (sometimes to my death).

Actually.. I’ve used Illusion of Life, just never successfully in a way that made any sort of difference.

I refuse to use mantras…..ever. I also use a mass clone producing troll build for spvp.

Sometimes, I set up my phantasms on a world/dungeon boss and walk away to get a drink without telling anyone.

I’ve never used mantra of concentration.

Looks like a decent stunbreak, but never felt the urge to use it.

It’s pretty sweet. The stability duration is very short, but when people are trying to gank you you often get a lot of CC sent your way in a short window, and it’s great for dealing with that when other stunbreaks wouldn’t (Blink is also great for that, of course, since it gets you away from their burst).

Also it has a (tiny radius) group effect, so you ckittene it to save your teammates from stuff.

Sometimes, when I see other Mesmers in dungeon runs, I silently judge them and mentally chastise them for every small thing they do wrong. (Portals in CoF p1, for example).

Sometimes when I start out shatter in sPvP and get frustrated by getting owned by hambows/turret engies/thieves I swap to PU and literally laugh out loud when they lose and call me cheese.

I have a personal stigma against warriors; whenever I see a warrior I always start out thinking that they are brain dead. (About 75% chance to be right, too!)

I secretly love the butterflies my huge max bulk/height male Norn Mesmer creates.

I like when my clones don’t die after my opponent flee’s so there’s 1-3 more copies of my curvy norn to admire.

I secretly admire Diplomat Tarban. Even though he’s a mesmer on steroid and my guild hates him.

I drop portals that leads to a fall to your death in Divinity’s Reach.

I really really don’t see why PU has so much love.

Confessions:
-I have four level 80 mesmers and after every single time I got them to lvl 80 I complained and said I would never do it again, I am now working on a fifth.
-When asked to portal golems I quickly say I am not a mesmer and switch to my ele that has a mesmery sounding name.
-I often mess up portals to inner keeps by dying on the jump down or because I have misjudged the range on the portal.
-I once ran a warrior in a zerg and died because the ‘save my skin’ button (blink) wouldn’t work.

-I only rolled Mesmer because they were the only magic class that uses guns (and I really only bought the game because I wanted to use Bonetti’s Rapier) yet I have fallen in love with this class.

-I really want to try a PU build, but I’m afraid it won’t work well in sPvP

My favorite build for everything is Scepter/Pistol because I really like clones. Lots and lots of clones.

It’s horrible and I love it.

When I play mesmer and go head to head against another mesmer in Pvp, and they try all their litle mesmer tricks against me, I like to put on wu-tang and sing, “Shame on a mesmer who tried to run illusionary game on a mesmer..”

My Mesmer does not like chicken and only uses dual swords …. living on the edge :-)

I try not to log onto my mesmer immediately after i’m done playing my warrior or elementalist to not get depressed.

I use greatsword unashamedly in dungeons and fracals, and occasionally just spam skill 1 on bosses so I can eat/drink at the same time.

I have never touched a torch, and probably never will. I also hate using mantras and will only ever use blade weapons regardless of whatever nerfs or bugs they have.

I don’t take PvP seriously (I only hot-fix), and will occasionally pick fights I know I can’t win just to see how long I can stall. But I am terribly sensitive to comments and will jump matches in hot-fix PvP or even quit if someone so much as hints that I am playing badly.

I tried it in beta but since release I haven’t unlocked Pistol skills. It’s just not my style.

I typically beg off Veil, Time Warp and Null Field to other mesmers in WvW (Though I’m fine running Portal and/or Feedback).
