I already said “thank you” but it doesn’t explain how awesome your videos are and how great they are to guide a player to skill and success!
Always when I see a new video where you play your mesmer I watch it and analyse the differences between your gameplay and my gameplay.

Let’s see what you changed in my gameplay:

• positioning: You explained what you do and how you choose your position in a fight. I just started to take your advices and was able to survive longer, spike harder and also to support better! (awesome)
• overview: A thing that followed my improved positioning in the combat was that now I’m able to have the whole fight in my view. A thing I really benefit from!
• skill usage: when to use which skill is a problem I’ve had in some situations. Your videos just explain it perfectly and extremly improve my gameplay.

Theese are just a few examples I could tell from my own gameplay. I think if I’d made a before-after-video I think I’d find even more improvements that I got thanks to you.

The only thing I dislike is that I always play against rank 0-20 players (rarely rank 30+) because I’m still at rank 13 (I don’t want to farm ranks. I dislike it.). Is there any way to get myself in games with stronger opponents? I don’t think it’s enough practice playing against low experienced players. Thanks to you I know how to play and I’d like to test it against better players… in a few matches I could even win 1v3 -_- I think that wasn’t my own skill but the lack of experience/skill my opponents had :<

About the rank…i guess you are talking about solo q…well i only see one way …you have to win a decent amount of times and then you will rank up in the ladder and face better players. I don’t think it has anything to do with your pvp rank since I had to play against really good enemies on an account somebody borrowed me and there I only was rank 7

I’d love some more thief gameplay with slowmo. I’ve tried thief a little bit (your build, and a more stealth-oriented one) but I always find myself melting way too fast as soon as someone looks at me funny, at least with a Berserker amulet. Shamefully enough, I even got downed by the trainer NPCs a couple times when I first tried it…

Really excellent vid again. I´m really interested in the thief, but after watching your gameplay I really don´t think i can handle the speed (… it takes too long for my brain to communicate with my fingers… ^^).

oh and stay away from this drug: “real life” (very dangerous for your skills)

Well there is always that super glass-cannon staff ele that someone recently posted in the ele forums. Tried it out for a while, someone breathing in your general direction downs you but you can easily turn around a fight for a point by dropping a meteor storm on it.

Something to note if you’re going to try this. When using long duration attacks such as meteor storm, you can jump into tornado form to get a transference of that power boost into your previously casted attack.

Those series sound amazing and I hope you will have time to do all of it and yet manage all the IRL responsibilities.

That part about you not having friends make me sad. I should take you out for a beer as I am living pretty close (Bratislava) and I won’t ask for any gem cards!

Just my first ideas on how to give away the gem cards:

1. Before the regular dueling days in your new arena you can create a dueling tournament where the winner will get the card. It should help promote your arena and channel a bit and also give you some content for the dueling series.
2. You can give the card(s) to players that will help you making the dueling series by playing the other profession. If the format of the dueling series is going to require a lot of effort of your “enemies” then it would be a nice incentive I guess. Like if they will have to run multiple builds and show their side of the fight, etc.

Also it would be great if you could put the link about the patch notes preview into the description of the video so your subscribers won’t have to look for it.

I have one question. I play mesmer in soloQ almost exclusively (no time for a team).
What build would you suggest to be the most effective?
Im playing PU/condi atm, trying to roam and take bases, and to help teamfight. I often find my damage is lacking, and Im quite slow. On the other hand, a shatter build like your tpvp build requires much teamwork and therefore isnt so suited for soloQ I guess? And would you concentrate on solo roaming or teamfighting in soloQ?

I think my spike shatter tournament build is perfect for solo q that’s what i am running 99% in my solo qs it works well in duels as well as in teamfights and you can save your teammates quite often with mass invis

Fearception is still my favorite and IMO most funny to watch.

I’ve been use Sensotix’ stealth shatter in Solo Queue, with a few modifications — I often run Blink+Decoy+MirIm instead of Null Field, and I use Focus+GS for Skyhammer, but otherwise identical, and it’s been working great for me.
