Mines Brokenhead Bob…. No special reason other than Im an old time Ultima Online player that played in the Brotherhood of Bob. And I’m always in search of other Bobs…and on the lookout of the infestation of Freds.

McDingus. My clones are called McDingi, as any proper Latin speaking person knows.

What? How did I come up with McDingus? Well even though someone told me Harry Potter, I don’t really remember that. Perhaps it was the Dingus Egg from MTG. Mabye somewhere back in the gray matter was a good laugh at the name McLoven. Or perhaps it is just because the name for an Azuran thingus is a dingus, and we all love playing with our McDingus.

My Sylvari Mesmer is called ‘Delirium Dreamfever’.

‘Delirium’ comes from Neil Gaiman’s ‘The Sandman’ series. She is one of The Endless and is the embodiment of Mania – a state that fits very well with the theme of the Mesmer.

‘Dreamfever’ comes from one of my all-time favourite Guild Wars 1 Mesmer elites: Fevered Dreams. Ironically, I used it more on my Ranger than I ever did my Mesmer.

So yeah…a combination of literature and GW nostalgia.

Amory for Sirius Amory, a character in the Amory Wars Mythos. The mythos are created by the lead singer of Coheed and Cambria. All my characters have this last name.

The name may have come from the pop culture ether somewhere (haven’t checked), but I stole it from a guildy in WoW who named his Arc Mage this…

…and the Mes is everything WoW’s Arc Mage could only dream to be.

Echo was an Oread, a mountain nymph, who loved to gossip, she also loved her own voice. However, for aiding Zeus in consorting with beautiful nymphs, Hera cursed her to only being able to repeat the last words that she heard.

My Mesmer is a Sylvari named Out Of Style.. ( renamed her that. she was originally named Kilvarha)

I currently have 5 Mesmers. They all have the word “Cho” in it, which loosely translate to “butterfly” in Japanese.

ChoKawaii, Cho Kurai and Gym Leader Cho are 3 of my 5 Mesmers.

I wanted to use just ‘Fay’ but someone took it within seconds (someone who didn’t even really want the name…;_;…)

I really wanted the name from the moment the ability to use three letter names was confirmed. And even before that…

“Al Míraj” I wanted to have the proper spacing for the Arabic pronunciation, but single quotes aren’t allowed in character names. It would be “Al Mi’raj”.

It’s the name of a rabbit from an old Arabic legend, that’s all cute and cuddly at a glance but will right kitten your kitten up if you try messing with it. I’m very happy about the name, I think it’s super fitting for the class. Deceiving, manipulative.
