Ty Druids who been here since HoT
Because it was so much fun and was absolutely perfect not being able to even ENTER avatar even ONCE as a full zerker or full condi druid back when HoT launched.
You killed something right before that crappy bar managed to fill after like 1-2 minutes, only to see it gone once you were out of combat…. I literally couldn’t even check what skills avatar had.
Try using something else than staff and you won’t have your “reset button” every 10 seconds.
However I have to say that dolyak rune bonus is pretty stupid and shouldn’t work with CF generation.

Ya CAF gate has either been too hard or too soft. There really has never been a middle ground besides maybe in beta sadly.
Yes, I agree.
Right now it’s far too rewarding and far too overtuned with the stunbreak and full condi cleanse.
I believe the middle ground could only be achieved if they altered the CF generation with damage/condi and nerfed the generation through healing….Or I don’t know.
I’m just sick of the staff camping…and everywhere I go I see that. But this is an issue with most other classes (elites) as well, everything’s just too rewarding.
Part of the problem has always been on HOW they setup AFG. Basing it around dmg and healing tics was just moronic.
Problem goes both ways. Stems from a flawed design and odd choices on top with player suggestions and implementing them.
Celestial Being has it’s own flaws, but what could anyone expect? It boiled down to damage and healing, without any scaling to give it a push/pull on flexibility and impact on the stats someone chose.
We had astral force generation on regeneration but also had other heal-over-time aspects such as Signet of the Wild, Natural Regeneration, Dolyak runes, and heath per second food count.
If anything, the majority of the issues lies with the developers’ choices. Because, in the end, regardless of what people suggest: Anet implements the changes how they see fit.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.
I honestly forgot how useless CA was. I remember making a post after one of the preview weekends saying I would never use druid over ranger. Glad that got sorted out.
