Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

Just need some advice from the more seasoned wvw thief players that solo roam. I really enjoy the s/d playstyle, but swap to d/p on occasion. Any insight or suggestions are welcome.

One set uses Exuberence rune sand the other Pack runes. Still playing around with food, trying to stay above 15k hp. Wasn’t sure how high crit chance/crit dmg needed to be but figured 60%/200% were pretty decent.

Good to know I’m on the right track, how much power should I be aiming for? And does crit damage really off much bigger of a dps boost over the extra power? Even if it’s just a few %?

dunno. it’s personal preference.
the ones you made are totally fine. No idea whats the mathematically perfect build if thats what you are asking.

Thanks, just curious because I’m not super seasoned on thief, which one did you find to be better? rune wise? Exuberence seems pretty legit.

good call. i use exuberence in sPvP couse i like the bigger HP pool. however you can reach decent maxHP with marauder/valk in wvw so there is no need for exu there. it’s still decent but i’d rather get hp from gear and get DR from scrapper. my buddy Lagspike uses the 10% DR food too with some + thoughness which is brutal vs other thives and reves.

No toughness gear, but the food was right from Mad. Elite can be changed to Impact Strike, heal can be changed to Withdraw (then change DD first trait to weakness or more dmg) and DA GM can be Executioner too. (And for more condi cleanse DD major trait can be changed to Escapist’s Absolution)
