Yea and guardians dont need more heals/ability to be tanky but they are getting buffed on heals so we need stuff at our speciality or thats not fair

I came up with an idea for a trait to add a 1/4 sec stun to warhorn skills. Like 2 days ago.

I think it would make warhorn more attractive and is actually telegraphed(unlike shouts) and therefore much more balanced.

The warhorn just simply isn’t a very attractive weapon to use as it has very little offense and the defense is entirely reliant on condi clearing and vigor. With a trait to provide dazes you could use it to stop rezing or to trip up your opponent a little bit.

I want to see a balanced warrior that can use any weapon he chooses and have it be viable. We need more reasons to choose lesser used weapon sets.

I prefer “Tactical Intercept” instead, the trait allow banner do damage and shout do daze at the same time.

It should do damage, to hurt there ears.

In battle the damage (isn’t that high.) but since its a game, it has to take into account how much mental damage that can actually do in a real fight. Screaming at someone is a very good tactic.

Mentally, screaming in someones face hurts like hell.

this would be hilariously OP with perplexity runes and distracing strikes – putting 8 stacks of confusion on anything around the warrior on a 7-8 second cooldown, lol! the warhorn has another very strong defensive tool besides vigor and condi cleanse btw – call to arms gives weakness for 6 seconds – use it to shut down power bursts.

Daze does not stack over itself. If all 5 warriors used there shouts at the exact same time, it would still be a 1/4 second daze. it does not stack up.

Also, that pretty much sums up a single Combo Field: Lightning. Except its more powerful.

Daze is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and prevents the target from using skills for a period of time. It does not stack in duration.

I’d like to point out that the shortest cooldowns on any shouts are 20 seconds (both shake it off and for great justice) WITH the cooldown trait. 25 seconds without. I dont know where these people get their ridiculous shouting every 10 seconds mindset.

Never tested it and could be very hard to depending on constant condition poping up or if it even activates while having condies on you or the 2 new conditions applied after the cd is up.Tbh i never even noticed a heal if traited for heals so it’s in a really shady spot for me.Sort of like certain sigils sharing cds type of mess.

There’s already enough instant cast, un-telegraphed crap in this game and the warrior doesn’t need that.

This idea is basically a “hey wouldn’t it be cool,” but it wouldn’t be.

Imagine a warrior that heals around 1100 hp per second AND interrupts you when it heals AND its also nearly immune to conditions AND it hits like a truck.

It would just be plain bad for the game.

If shouts had a cast time it would make much more sense, but they don’t.

That’s why a trait like this would be much better suited to the warhorn skills. Not only can they see that you’re carrying a warhorn, but you also would have to cast the skills.

Even if the warhorn got something like that, it might be over-the-top.

Berserker stance.Yes yes ,it won’t affect +duration speech,but it doesnt.I never received any condition while having it active and i find it hard to believe that none on the average of 100 necros i fought in spvp in the last 2 months had at least 10% duration from either build, rune or sigil.

Idk if working as intended like engies version or a bug.But is no real problem imo cuz of long cd.It only affects spammers.

Oh noes i spammed all my weapon skills and utilty and now im sitting duck when instead i should have notice it before the 8seconds and couple dozen of "IMMUNE " being spammed on my screen.

You could always make it a Grandmaster trait and instead of dazing your target, make shouts deal damage and be consider like blast finishers, that would actualy make shouts a lot more versatile when playing with a group.

Berserker stance.Yes yes ,it won’t affect +duration speech,but it doesnt.I never received any condition while having it active and i find it hard to believe that none on the average of 100 necros i fought in spvp in the last 2 months had at least 10% duration from either build, rune or sigil.

Idk if working as intended like engies version or a bug.But is no real problem imo cuz of long cd.It only affects spammers.

Oh noes i spammed all my weapon skills and utilty and now im sitting duck when instead i should have notice it before the 8seconds and couple dozen of "IMMUNE " being spammed on my screen.

Ok.. your complaining about Shouts, However they take up a Utility Slot, I can’t be a Shout Warrior AND have Berserker Stance.

I would be nerfing myself.

I was only giving you an answer tbh .The guy above me was complaining.Weird interpretation since there is not 1 single word suggesting whine, actually the post you quoted is defending it.Also yeah.berserker stance is a terrible choice on a shout build.

I disagree.

Shouts should remain support.

If anything, they should buff Physical skills. They are the CC/interrupts of the warrior.

Nobody cares about physical skills, they are basicly “Arcane.” skills except worthless.
