I am sure they do. They just have more people living in different time zones so their work hours are different.

This is when they get most their points, go to matchups and click on BG and can see the graph showing their peak ppt hours, its like 8 eastern till about noon.

If anything BG shouldn’t be getting anymore oceanic guilds. The aim needs to be a better 24/7 presence for all servers, because losing fully upgraded keeps…or better yet, everything, to unbalanced numbers is just sad. That goes for both SoR and TC, although SoR’s all-map NA presence seems to smash BG’s, so they should focus more on expanding that time slot. Kinda sucks that the servers say full and yet half the reason is due to your PvE/RP population.

Actually I believe SoR may not be full, we got some guys that transferred over last week at least cause SoR was the only server in the top 2 tiers that wasnt full. Of course that was almost 7 days ago so it could be full now.

This is one of the most broken aspects of WvW right now. BG can’t really pick up a lot of NA people any more than TC or SOR can pick up a lot of non-NA people simply because there are very few times when they are open to transfer.

There is no reason the WvW servers and population needs to be tied to PVE. It is hurting the game and we as a community seem only concerned with thieves and “rewards.”

The best answer to nightcapping is to allow us to transfer to servers that need more night time people if we play at night. Its just that simple.

TC doesn’t have near the coverage BG has yet they went FULL long before BG did.

This is what happens when you don’t region lock servers. It would be a lot more fun if people in the same regions were only fighting people in their own region. That way we would have more peak gameplay times lining up vs. some one always being vastly out numbered. I can’t think of many times where one side in this hasn’t had that buff… that oh so powerful mf/xp buff. I’m not blaming or upset at any players, it’s not your fault what so ever. Hopefully it’ll be something that’s dealt with with the Feb patch.

I know guild can change their tag, and names, but is it possible to have 2 guilds named the same on 2 different servers? I know the tags can be the same, but didn’t think guild names were able to be.

here’s the key difference though. none of us are whining like little princesses about it. quite the contrary, if you bother to actually read through the thread. yes, we’re getting beaten, but we’re proud that we’re not backed up to our spawn like we were the last time we went against BG or SoR. i suppose you wouldn’t know about that, since FA was completely nonexistant during the match against BG. both of our servers showed our true colors during that match. we kept coming back after getting pounded into the dust, your server ran away with its tail between its legs. if you don’t believe me, ask the people from BG who were involved in that match as to their view of the situation. it wasn’t difficult to see.

perhaps if you spent less time being spiteful, and more time improving, you’d give your server a better chance in the future? and, just to make it perfectly clear, whining =/=winning. while they’re spelled fairly similar to each other, the two words very different. you may want to check websters again so you can change your approach.

I am orginal a Seafarers, but because of this boredom facing 3 weeks of same enemy server at time. I decided to join American highest tier in fastest way possibly and that was FA. Also check why people need to defend camp so badly. Because of this I understand there method. There is no effective play compared to EU I was facing all time. That is all. :p

Exactly. As for whining? I have yet to see TC do anything like that. We’re a solid server, and I think a bunch of others think that RPers are pushovers. Quite the contrary: we can be just as competitive as the other servers.

I think as a whole TC has come a LONG way from where we once were. There have been VAST improvements. The fact the TC has some great commanders, and those who learn as they go(like myself), AND our advancement up in the tiers is proof THAT WE ARE BETTER THAN WE WERE. We don’t make a big deal out of it, we just play, have fun, and communicate effectively.

Sure, it’s easy to transfer to another server. It’s easy to be a part of the ‘winning’ team. But that’s a cop out, and unfulfilling. Anything worth having is worked for. And for the TC WvW folks like myself, we’ve EARNED our place here in Tier 2.
