Typically from 8pm cst till we start passing out and noticing bad calls from sleep derprevation. Sometimes earlier start time if we are being like really really dedicated.

One of the phenomena described can be explained by the use of a certain cash shop item (although it can be obtained other ways, it is rare). I’m sure ANet would defend this tactic (that perhaps 99.9% of players aren’t familiar with) as being legit.

Regardless of all this, I had a ball last night fighting SBI in the Bay keep on their map. That was wild. I wish it had started earlier because I had to get to bed while it was still going on.

Are you allowed to use Res orbs in WvW? If that’s what DiE did, that’s kind of dirty.

Ah, so you guys were the ones setting up all that siege. I was on SM trebbing WC and had to take out like 4-5 trebs during that time, then the SoS zerg finally gathered up to counter-treb me.

Don’t worry Krow we took Lowlands for their insubordination in attacking SM!!!

What’s odd is that we managed to hold off SM with half as many people as SoS or SBI.

JQ are being try hards again this morning….but some REAL solid organization with Patone/Grekkz/Archangel kept our group tight. So despite only having around 35 for all of EB….30 were usually together.

Oh and Portal bomb central today…..good job Patone.

Lol, I wish JQ was tryhard. Most of the time we don’t have mesmers to abuse culling with or have enough elementalists shield treb shots. I think its because in EB we don’t have a decent sized group of single guild members like WM or others, but the commanders make it work somehow and a few like-minded people that like to flank. Seriously when we actually have a mesmer in EB and try to portal bomb, we get like 4 people standing on the portal even if we spam “portal come here”

There’s not really much that we can do.

I have never seen that tag, despite being in multiple BL’s at different times through out a night.

If it was one of the more known guilds it would be easy to name/shame them. But this guild I have never seen. So the best I can give you is to ask that you Fraps it and put up a link. Also do a Report on each person you see doing it.

If we see anything like that we report it as well.

I don’t recognize the tag and I’m fairly certain I’ve not seen a guild with the [ZX] tag registered as a resident at jadequarry.com.

I presume they are either transfers, retreads, or nubs (which in no way excuses the alleged actions you observed). On the other hand, if they are allegedly misbehaving, nub is unlikely. However, on the hand I chopped off a bot, nubbish behavior does often resemble misbehavior.

Actually guys, SunnyHill is the tower that a lot of people have been saying people can glitch through the door at. It could completely be a bug.

ZX aren’t hackers or exploiters and they aren’t nubs or retreads—whatever that means—Zortek of Aco, a guild with nary a footprint in WvW. You haven’t seen ZX because you either have been playing at different times or on different borderlands, or you are relatively new to WvW on JQ.

ZX is a small but entirely respectable and dedicated Japanese guild of guys and girls who have been on Jade Quarry since beta weekend 3(proof blog post 8-13 http://www.wearezac.com/zaxis/modules/d3blog/). They are actually the reason that I originally moved to JQ, even though I ended up not playing with them so much.

ZX has scheduled WvW days and primarily play as a group on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Japanese primetime or NA mornings. They also have two commanders, XaikyoGrn, who I haven’t seen around much lately, and Canychan, who makes much more regular appearances on the borderlands. I’m sure you can attempt to talk to them if you think there are any problems, but remember that they may not have the best commands of English.

Anyway, as for their character, I will vouche for them. I’m sure they weren’t exploiting. Xaikyo has his own twitch channel and films most of his games so you can check it out yourself, although you’ll probably be bored. http://ja.twitch.tv/xaikyo. Either the original accusation is baseless—perhaps the wall fell for a moment and the accuser didn’t notice before it was rebuilt <—- this happens—or if something strange did occur, it probably happened as CarelessKrow said: they glitched through the door and had to make the decision to let themselves be killed or fight back.

SoS BL This evening:

One of my guildies found this out tonight and freaked out so bad that I think that my ears still have dried blood from my eardrums popping. She immediately hopped out of the tower because we don’t roll like that. A couple of pugs that were attacking the door somehow managed to go through as well by accident. Those guys were freaking out as well. It was a major siege on a gate with a ton of people, it was not on purpose.

Thanks to the commander from SoS that let me know immediately, those guys truly didn’t know wtf was going on. I know I reported it, I recommend everyone else doing the same. I noticed that the gate was Reinforced and at 25% if that has anything to do with it??

Oh and sorry for not following suit on the dance party that was meant for NE Garrison on SoS BL as well, we’ll try to coordinate that better next time

I did alot of not attacking tonightafter everyone jumped ship in sbi bl, JQ took garrison and after it was all said and done i was still in there. had about 10 trying to fight me and kill me, they almsot had me a few times on inner lords room. i jumped out about 10-15 mins after giving them the peek a boo ninjar stance.. waved and cryed a few times. Preceeded on the outer garrison where a ranger and a guardian tryed getting me. evaded them waved cryed shared some shrugs with them. Waved again and jumped out of garrison in from of the gaurdian. Was pretty eventful lol. Proceeded to do the same afterwords when jq took astralholme. Some call it trolling, i call it spicing up the moments of Wv3 xD

There was some great cooperation between SBI and JQ, shame it’s deteriorated into another Prisoner’s Dilemma.

Iv’e played against SoS now for many weeks in a row and they do get better overall (my main goal is to destroy SoS though) SBI i only clash with now and then unfortunately as i still have plenty of payback towards them also ..this week has been fun but all 3 servers have time slots that are empty so for obvios reason they start to slip ..Now the best part of the week was some 3 way action near ruins i think earlier this week ; good solid fighting from all and thats all i can hope for from time to time as its far to intense to do constantly.. I do respect you all but i play hard and want to win … i can say with 100% confidence that we all 3 servers have worked damn hard this week and we set a good example of what tier 1 is all about .. So his cheers to you SoS and SBI keep up the good fight …

If tier 1 continues to be a close matchup and Sor/Blackgate continue to flip 1st/2nd place in tier 2, nothing is going to change in terms of weekly matchups.

Sbi current rating = 2,104.057 (3rd place)
Blackgate current rating = 1,965.221 (4th place)

This basically means SBI would need to be stomped and Blackgate need to own, just to close the margins.

But all of that (including your wanna-be credible voucher) is not relevant. We don’t try people in the court of public opinion when it comes to exploitation. You are not a witness for the defense. There is no case.

Glitches are just a fancy, handlebar mustache word for potential exploit. There are ways to handle glitches that are noble and those that are less so. Responsible gamers encourage the former (and yes, I’ll be explicit… irresponsible players are negligent about the later).

My editorializing diluted the original intention of my post which was to agree with and support Wotah’s previous comment and add emphasis to reporting all suspicious activity — which, minus the presumption, is fully consistent with my position since release.

I was impressed with the SoS guys on SBI BL’s the other day. Esp the commander from Work, the guy had a great attitude and even though we were outnumbered and getting no help from JQ we kept throwing ourselves against superior numbers. AND even though sometimes we wiped we took out more than we lost and kept returning for more.

it was fun… look forward to doing it again.

Lets not get carried away, the reality is while guilds contribute some success to world ranking’s its the combination of all participants. SOS has well established wvwvw intensive and competitive guilds and i presume they will be placed no1 for a long time to come. Guild wars is still relatively new and now over the last month or 2 has ranking placments began to seattle to their natural equalibrium. Exagerating the extent of one guild only proves 2 thing’s 1) Your a mindless fan boy and 2) You have little understanding about the mechanics of the game.

Well, what I am seeing is that SBI has essentially given up and is currently fighting with a loser’s mentality. If there is a significant drop in number next few matches due to the Winters Day event, I see SOS stomping them in the score department (winning by close to 100k points). Any kind of charge from a server in tier 2 should pushed them to tier 1 with SBI dropping to tier 2. I guess we’ll see…

Anyways, TLDR:

DiE gets accused of exploiting, hacking and buying precursors with RTM. Lots of passive aggressive posts, back and forward. Our name gets tarnished. We finally let the accuser know our legit, non hacking tactic. We are confirmed to be legit and now the accuser knows how to counter us, according to the above screenshot.
