Queues jumped from 30-40 mins primetime to 3-4 hours. I’d say thats a pretty huge increase in pugs. Let’s see what they’ll do now when we’re losing.

Like I said earlier in this thread, VZ has had a constant 2+ hours of queue during prime, for 7 months.

But, in all fairness, I think SFR as a server did quite a nice job overall, you just weren’t prepared to that happening, and guilds didn’t chose to deal with the situation the appropriate way (in my opinion, but to each their own).
We’re just too happy to be able to troll SacrX.

My point is : being on top brings you : double teaming, pugs migration, and many other annoying things. If you want to play without these annoyances, stop doing anything to stay first of the ladder.
Anet free transfer thing made this happen faster, that’s all.
And yes, SFR beated us before the free transfer, and is still able do it, even harder, if you manage to deal with Pugs and queues, just like we do.

And just to add my opinion on people complaining about numbers and blobs:

We all caused it whether aware of it or not, VS have been in tier 1 so long simply because of their PUG army. PUGs win the war, guilds win the battles. Every FOTM server that has reached tier 1 has always been pitted against VS, First Deso with their US force, then along came BT with Xaoc dominating early time zone and then the EU prime time guilds controlling everything, and now SFR.

Every FOTM server that has gone against VS has only strengthened VS, the difference in them now from when I fought them on BT is very different, they react faster, they fight a lot more organised and they are quicker to split their pug force to hit 2 things at once working more like 2 guilds rather than 2 pug armies.

When a server stays in T1 for along time they get swarmed with extra transfers that increase queue times and act independently of those on the server, often causing players that are originally from that server to become annoyed or frustrated. Guilds slowly fall apart or transfer away. Then people that are used to rolling in organised groups go inactive because the fun disappears, you are just let with a few die hard guilds that stick it out and pugs.

Deso is doing well because the old school are still around training and teaching the pugs, VS are around cause they are the PUG army masters and SFR still has a solid guild make up. I can honestly see SFR going on the decline in the next 2-3 weeks, RG will be transferring soon no doubt due to wanting to roll as a guild without massive queues and more gvg fights to be had, once they go afew might start to think it’d be a good idea. After that is when a server truly becomes a community because they are left with the core and a pug army to work with.

Too many beers and kinda lost where I was going with this but the spuds are done so time to stop rambling lol

Your only hope to Deso get better its SFR gets weaker. You are so sad. Atm you all the problems in SFR you fight hard and team with VZ trying to be second.
You dream with a week SFR, but we are full of surprises. Wait for the next weeks to seek, drop off your crystal ball.
PS: To all saying that we have spies, I don’t believe we have any spies in Deso (or in VZ), it ruins the game, and don’t make any sense to spy chronic losers, like Deso.

I was trying to run in smaller groups and it brings a lot of refresh to the game. Unfortunately a lot of Viz players jumped on us 2 times when trying to take hills (sfr bl). We haven’t given up and 3rd time was success

Yes, not only yours depends on ours but vice-versa, this is a 3-way.
I will just put an example, you think you would have anything in EB if VS decided to focus you instead of SFR (outside prime obviously). The only reason you got your points in EB is because VS is constantly applying the pressure on us, you are constantly outmanned…

Love your style of propaganda. Time will tell what happens to SFR from here. In fairness, new and bigger maps are needed to combat the zerg’s ability to cover the map so quickly. Until then the blobs will rule

Much more balanced match this week anyway, SFR and Deso are both doing pretty well guys, but we are this week on fire !
I am very proud of my server indeed.
When hard times are here you have a much more precise idea of who you are playing with, who stay and keep a solid and consistent playtime..
And franckly I have no idea of the next match, may be SFR or Deso the winner, and I don’t think that one server is going to collapse, maybe SFR if they fail to deal with pugs or loose too many guilds.

Do you really think it’s different in other T1 servers ?
Can’t say for Deso, but on VZ we got pretty much 2hours+ queue from 18h00 to midnight. Everyday.
And it has been going this way for weeks.
