Hi,
ticket 121028-001299 reached 3 days, no response, no contacts. Worst experience ever in 13 years of on-line gaming.
Banned for gold selling or trading actions that I didn’t have done.
For the record, just in case, I have scanned my Pc with kaspersky anti virus updated to latest definition and with spy-bot search and destroy also updated to latest definitions, and I have found nothing. And yes I used a strong password.

After 3 days and no answer i did post here.
Got a reply to my ticket on 28/10/2012 06:04 PM, where the support team is asking me for more info, which i did provide on 29/10/2012.
Since then i am waiting again, it has been 9 days since my original issue and i still don’t know officially what is wrong with my account and what i can do to resolve the issue.
In the meantime i bought a 2nd key this time from an authorized reseller, i am unable to add it and i am waiting to see what the support team will tell me.
Is there something that can be done regarding my ticket? I don’t know what else to do……

I saw from one of your reply that it could be because the reseller that I bought from charge-back on the credit card they used to pay for the game. However, I bought from the reseller because it advertised on their website that they are professional MMO online site selling legit keys with positive testimonials posted on the main page. I am now still in the midst of trying to get a refund from them…
While waiting, I bought a new Serial Code directly from GW2 website 2 days ago to try to get my account back because I spend quite a lot of time with the game and have grown very attached to the characters that I have created. I also wanted to enjoy the great Halloween event but could not partake in it since it is ending very soon…
So since I have already bought and applied the new Serial Code to my existing account successfully (at least there was no error when I applied the code on top of my account) and my account is still blocked, what are my options now? I really want to continue playing with my current account and have received no reply from Support so far whether I would be unblocked… :-(

I’m having the same situation with you bro. Saw other post that I am able to re-gain access simply by adding a new code. I can’t understand why Anet don’t put top priority in this issue if is obvious a mistake.
So many people banned for the 1 copper spam mail.
Please keep in mind that we are all merely theorizing that this is the issue. We have no solid evidence to support it. Don’t get too carried away now.
No one is being suspended or terminated for a 1 copper mail. If you received such an in-game mail and were suspended or terminated, that is coincidental. We wouldn’t take action on an account based on that single piece of evidence, and in fact it’s really not evidence of wrongdoing, as a player cannot control what mails come into his/her mailbox.

I say this because is the only thing “wired” I do just before the ban.
Just let me put this way, I bought +150$ in gems from Anet, so you figured out my sorprise for this ban for buy gold… is just wrong. The must funny thing: you have all the transactions.

Hiya, my account got suspended, with a message saying to contact support for more information, I did so on Friday, and got a reply saying that my ticket was going to be “escalated and researched by the payment review team”. Since then I have had no communication what so ever from Anet.
I’m quite frustrated, because the reason for my suspension remains unknown.

Ok im normaly not a person that is standing on his stripes and is very patient.
But its seems that i need to post a Topic to receive some responce.
Today i found out that i have been hacked.
I already had a ticket open about being wrongfully accused about gold selling or helping with.
With no response as of yet.
But today wen i looked on my little brother his account i see myself logged out on a US server called Crystal Desert.
But all of my character are made on a EU sever called Desolation.
So it seems that my account has been hacked instead of being wrongfully accused.
And that i have opend a wrong ticket for it instead of one that maybe has more urgency to it.
Please can you people look at because im a little panict now.
I only played a couple of weeks, but i already put a significant amount of money in it with buying gems
I dont want to put the amount in here, because that is not for the public to know.
But now i have the feeling that i lost everything that i put into that account.
At least i will have my character slots and bank slots if i can get it back, but i cant check atm if i still have all the costumes that i spend it on.
So please can i get a PM or something that there is being worked on and gives me a little comfort.

Okay it happened to me second time. After first time my key was disabled, seller gave me another code.
I have already realised that i can’t trust this seller.
Review has not happaned yet and i don’t want to wait anymore (my account is already disabled for 5 days and i have to play with my team from another account). No need for review just disable serial code so i can activate account with new legit code.

i checked with seller and he admit that his distributor/supplier using hacked credit card and ran away with money. so he said he will refund me so i can get new key with trusted seller.
the part with WILL NOT BE REINSTATED worry me. do you mean i will not get my account even when i put new cdkey ? for me its unfair, how do i know their source or method in buying GW2.
if it can be settle with new cdkey and get my account back. then its good.

As of 1:06 am est, 11/1/2012, it’s been 3 days since I received the automated response to my ticket regarding account termination for partaking in or assisting in RMT or Botting.
I returned from a weekend trip to Orlando on Sunday October 28 and logged onto Guild Wars 2 around 7:30 pm est; shortly after logging in I was kicked back to the login screen with a message that stated that someone else was attempting to log into my account, after logging in again and being kicked with the same message I checked my e-mail to find that there were 4 login attempts from China awaiting authorization with the message that I should change my password if I am certain that these attempts were not made by me. When I attempted to log in again I received the message that my account is terminated. It was at this time that I submitted the support ticket via the ask a question tab available on the support page.
I suspect that my account was compromised, I say “suspect” because I am certain that the unauthorized (at least I hope they are unauthorized as the link provided in the email is specified as a link to “authorize” the attempt, where as the e-mail makes no mention of a means to “de-authorize” the attempt, only that I should change my password if the attempt was not made by me) attempts were not made by me I did not find my character (Mesmer named Count Acedia) or items missing or moved.

Submited the ticket at 2012.10.26 got a replay as
“We understand that you’re currently unable to access Guild Wars 2. In order to assist you properly, we will be redirecting your issue to the appropriate department. They should be in touch with you shortly.” after silence for days now.
And if i am typing this here coud we get an aswer for that simpel question why is that some shops are trusthed retailer in 1 country and not in a nother, couse mostlikely both me and my girlfriend gona have faued code issue, she already got the error code about that but srsly this is just proper …………………………………………………………………, its a huge company and it points out that like 5 country’s in europe where its trusthed , but in the 1 i live nooo its not. I didnt even realize this just when i looked on anet trusthed retailers list , realy its like a ….. joke.

I posted that in another threat but will repost here because it concerns quiete some people already. Please read carfully and please let somebody know who can change the current banning of “innocent” players.
—There are “many” people having a problem with accouns they unknowingly and without intention purchased at a Reseller that commited credit-card fraud.
Most of us did researches before the purchase so they thought the seller can be trusted.We did not and didnt mean to commit a fraud. We wanted to save a little money and when I purchased (for example) the website itself didnt sell copies. I dont remember why. But thats why i (we) purchased elsewhere.
We are willing to help to solve the problem.
We are willing to pay again.
We know we didnt do the most intelligent thing.We just want to continue our game where we left it. Our Story.
If you close our accouts permanently we would have to start over. Many will be not willing to do so. Not because we dont love the game. But because it breaks the immersion. Because it breaks our storyline.
I didnt mean to harm the company in any way. I didnt mean to cause trouble or work.
I want to play my story. In your beautiful game. Even if I did something not so intelligent. Please let me.

You make a very good point, and I do understand your position. But what do we do about RMTs, who simply apply another fraudulent code and strip off all their ill-gotten goods in the time between the code’s application and the discovery that it is invalid? We really cannot allow that to happen. Also, what about people who get a second fraudulent code — often without them knowing it’s bad — and then have their accounts closed again?
It would be good if we could know the code was good before it was applied, before someone got access. But it can take a bit of time to find out that information, and so giving the option to “add a new code and get right back onto the account” seems to be a risky proposition.
Can you think of alternatives that address player, community, and company needs, with this information in mind?
