Exactly, it seems the only mote that is a problem for people now is the one in “Meeting the Asura” for Unforgiving Infiltration. Not Challenge Motes in general (though that was an issue for a few earlier updates).

Keep merging, I dont care. I’ll keep sending bug reports, emails and posting on the bug forums.

I just tried to do the achievements for the “Seads of Truth” chapter, specifically the “Meeting the Asura” story and there is no Challenge mote!

Both myself, and my friend who came with me, have completed all the story to unlock the achievements.

We tried various things like entering seperately, restarting the game client, cancelling the story/restarting it, making sure the mail you get when starting the story is unread, but none of these things worked.

In another one of the achievevments we did yesterday, I cannot remember exactly which one, the challenge mote was hidden to me, but not to my friend. After he marked it with a target, I was then able to see it and interact with it. So if anyone in your group can see it, get them to mark it and see if the instance owner can use it that way.

Can confirm its JUST the ‘Meeting the Asura’ mote. I went to get my lumi armor the week of the patch that broke it (coincidently) and every mote except this one spawned on the first attempt, and still spawns for me.

Yep, while waiting for the fix on Unforgiving Infiltration, I did all the other achievements and motes. They all worked fine for me, except the mote in Meeting the Asura. For 2 weeks I’ve been waiting for a fix

If this isn’t fixed in a patch tomorrow, I’ll be very irritated. Running into this problem has sucked any fun I would have had out of the achievement, and now I’m no longer even excited about completing it anymore. I just want to get the kitten thing over with and move on to something else. Thanks for ruining this for me. :/

Rumors are it’ll be fixed by today’s patch (just rumors so no source). Or maybe it is just me hoping for the best. It’ll be a kitten shame if, after a couple of months, we wont see a fix. There will be plenty of unhappy people, me being one of them.

“The Guild Wars 2 Development Team is aware of this issue about This achievement is unavailable because the challenge mote does not spawn and team members currently are working on addressing it.”

That’s all I really wanted, so now I can wait for them to fix it.

Thank you, at least an answer that they are aware of it. I lost the motivation to do the other achievements for the Lumi Armor since this one is bugged and there is no ETA. I really hope they’ll fix it soon since I am soon done with the whole Lumi set.

Can you be a little bit more specific? You heard it from random players, saw it on map chat, came up with the rumor yourself etc etc!?

Still not fixed, on a side note, I feel like merging our new threads about this bug is stupid. The lack of the meeting the asura challenge mote is a totally separate issue from the original topic of this thread 3 months ago :/

arenanet are scammers, as long as this bug exists. they are selling the chapter for GEMS, i.e. real money, KNOWING that the achievements cannot be completed. that is a SCAM in my book and anet are SCAMMERS. if they disabled the whole chapter until it’s fixed or gave it away for free, that would be a different story, but as it stands now, it is a SCAM.

It’s not fixed in the 31-03 patch. I just tried.

On a side note, could the topic starter change the topic title: Challenge note : Meeting the Asura not showing. As far as i am aware the other notes are working properly?

The challenge mote for Meeting the Asura is not available. After today’s ‘build’ or ‘patch up,’ nothing was mentioned about fixing this issue.

This challenge mote seems to be the last requirement that everyone needs to complete the Bioluminescent achievement, and although it IS indeed a “challenge mote,” it seem so to be the only one that is having issues; so please do not merge it with the other topic that “challenge motes are bugged” from 3 months ago.

How is it possible for this to not be fixed yet…it’s been 2 weeks, and it is so annoying to ALMOST finish the luminecent set…OFC they update the BL but no news for us…

In 2 weeks they’ll make an announcement, that they need a further 2 weeks to fix it, which subsequently will be followed by a 2 week delay.

Really feels like no one cares about this issue.. I’ve posted on these forums multiple times and have yet to see a response.

Clearly someone has read this because the topics were merged but no one cared to reply with anything.

I can understand things get broken and I thought if I just wait awhile it’ll get fixed but it’s going on weeks now.

Yea the challenge mote for Meeting the Asura is bugged for me as well. Relogged a few times and no solutions. Whatever, I’m just hoping that Anet can fix it soon so I can finish up my Luminescent Armor.

As the title says, the Challenge Mote in Meeting the Asura does still not spawn. It spawned sometimes pre 16.03, but after that patch it seems completly gone, I hoped it would return with this Patch, but it didnt.

On a side note, Im not sure how to report that ingame, no category seems fitting.

Multiple topics already open in regards to this.

This should be a quick fix, if they see 200+ complain and have paid gems, It should be priority to fix quick and not let players complain for weeks

because airplanes and new gem store items are more important than broken gem store items

Last Achievement I need for the lumi armor.

anet’s got the time to make us all airplanes, but still can’t fix a single bugged challenge mote that’s causing so many people to be unable to progress on their lumi armor collection

I hit my barrier with this a few days ago, in terms of getting the luminescent armor. Some people hit that barrier 2 weeks ago, now that’s gotta be painful.

i’ve been waiting for a fix for the last 2 weeks… … dissapointing. The least they could do is take out that achievement from so we could get the boots
