Title says it all, I know where the Challenge Mote is supposed to be thanks to dulfy but it just isn’t here.

Please fix anet <3

+1, I cannot see this mote as well, invited a friend and found he can’t see the mote as well

I have this bug as well. I reported it about a month ago, but no fix yet. The icon for the achievement shows up, but I see no blue flame to interact with.

Here’s some new information that should help players and devs alike :

Yersterday, I started doing the Dragon’s Reach P2 achievements and was, at the time, able to activate the challenge mote. After doing “Untouched by Maw and Claw”, I moved on to my second attempt at “Can’t Knock Me Down” + “Mote Master”. At this point, I got hit by the stomp which removed both “Can’t Knock Me Down” and “Mote Master”. Since then, impossible to get the challenge Mote to appear.

I suppose there is some kind of weird link there, if you fail at CKMD once, then the challenge mote becomes bugged. That much should help the devs.

Now as for the players, the solution is fairly easy : find someone who’s done LS but no achievements, disable your own LS (just in case though I doubt it’d hurt) and make them open the instance. The challenge mote will be there and you will be able to get the achievement

Unfortunately it does not work. If you have someone in group who cant see mote whole group will not see him.

I did the achievement in this very fashion though I was unable to see the mote if I opened the instance. So yes, it does work.

While I’m at it, it’s not about seeing the challenge mote or not seeing it, it’s about whether it spawns or not. And that depends entirely on who opens the instance, as far as I know. If you follow my intructions, it should be alright :>

After Faolain and Caithe fight the first two guards, the third guard turns around and the “light” marker faces Caithe. Caithe has to pass through this “light” in order to get to the guard. Can the game be glitched, because Caithe walks into the guards path when she is supposed to knock him out?

Please fix this bug soon, so I can continue the story.
