Holding out hope for patch day tomorrow but somehow I doubt we’ll get a fix just yet…

A dev answered in less than 1 day acknowledging the bug, even thought not giving a fix date, while this topic is 3 months old and just the CM post telling us that she will see if anyone knows about this at ANet.

Hoping for a fix tomorrow, but I’m also pretty sure that we won’t see a fix for 2+ weeks.

also no meeting the asura challenge mote. need it for my luminescent boots. worked hard for this and cant get it. adding this report to make the list longer. maybe someone will get tired of the complaints!

I just send in a bug report for this every day, hoping to get it fixed by being annoying and possibly getting one of the QA people (or whoever reads those bug reports) bored enough to pass it on to the proper person for a fix.

Honestly these days I have 3 daily activities – the actual daily, harvesting the home instance and reporting this bug.

I’m not sure if that’s a good plan. They blacklist you for spamming & then you won’t ever achieve anything with your future bug reports. I myself send one report, weekly :P

At this point I don’t care about future bugs.

And i’ve got a mysterious case of a missing mote for The world summit story part achievements.
Either way anet got a bug report from me as well, now just gotta wait till hom & motes are fixed. Huzzah…

I feel bad for people that actually payed for the story. It’s driving me nuts and I got it just for logging on during the weeks it was active.

I agree it is stupid. I was so excited when i saw that we were getting a new build because that meant they were fixing the bug,right? wrong instead of the bug getting fixed we got new hairstyles, a new finisher, cheaper gear to wear and wait for it, a discount on the living story.

Just a hint towards any dev(s) reading this : being silent is not going to magically solve your problems here. In fact, every update with you being in denial will make things worse and it will spread among those not affected. After all, everyone with some common sense and empathy knows you are in the wrong here. At least have the decency to communicate with your player base and be open about it. As is it stands now you are going Electronic Arts style on your player base.. Just milking the cows…. Admit you mucked up, give reason and argumentation for it : Here, let me help you start this off, some homework:

1) Why is this taking you so long to fix, what are you hiding?
2) ETA on the fix
3) Solution in the meantime, do not think in problems but in solutions (give the boots to the player base that is stuck on their last achievement for Seeds of Truth → unforgiven infiltration)

Edit: Removed some of my personal opinion about the business until we see what is the bug they are addressing that caused the pack to be pulled from the store. If LS2 is fully functional I delete all my comments and recommend it to all my friends that are playing this game.

This thread is just going to get bigger when the poor souls find out they cant finish the lumi set. Anet still wont care then because they have your money. GG

I’m hearing a lot of people saying that it’s impossible to get the full set. But I, as well as others, have the full set. I’m confused as to which armor set people are saying is bugged.

I heard there was a bug with one of the achievements for the LS in regards to getting the boots (?).

I wish I could post a “Thank you, that was fast!” or “Good job on squashing that one!” when(reads if) the bug gets fixed. Now however, it will merely be a sullen “Well it’s about kitten time, I could have coded a fix in MSpaint in the time it took you to fix this.”

If they are talking about the Achievement for Meeting the Asura, reportedly it’s currently bugged, for about a month, and can’t be done.

Plenty of people have tried that time and time again, and re-entered the instance time and time again, quite literally hundreds of times at this point. Sure it may have always been buggy, but a few weeks ago a patch made it literally never spawn.

Ah, so one of the patches completely broke it this time? Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

can confirm, i am a sad panda about the bug.

edit: bug could of been worked around if the story instance was restarted a few times, now the mote needed for the achievement is completely gone.

I wish they would just fix the bug or at least give those of us that bought it a refund. I just want to get my achv and my lumn. boots for completion.
