This would have worked with me:
“We cannot promise an early fix, but we understand the seriousness of this blocking issue, as such we will remove the Unforgiving Infiltration achievement from the Seeds of Truth Mastery & try to push this change to live as soon as possible”

You just added more words to say “soon” again.
I know it is frustrating, I also just need the Unforgiving Infiltration for the full set + title + asc piece and so on, but we need to understand that there is a limit on what they can do and say, at least now we are sure that they are working on it.

C’mon, at least just remove the achi from the meta achi/give us a temporary means of getting the kittening locket. Sick of this now, it’s putting me off collections.

The problem is, I had a few months pause of GW2 so when I logged in, I bought just the missing episodes and now im into this mess.

The time I had my GW2 pause I didnt use the forum aswell so I didnt know it is bugged, if I would have know that, I hadn’t bought the episodes…..

Bumping this topic and discussing this here after all the responses we’ve gotten might be like talking to a wall, since the people with the power to actually help us (in a timely fashion) might not even read the bug/support forums. I mean we’ve reported the bug(s), we know that it’s being worked on etc etc etc..

i, like the rest of you find this incredibly frustrating about wynnes locket. but i also know that finding bugs can be very hard. i have also like may of you vented on this forum about this. after some very serious prayer and thought, have decided to try and not be so negative. to all of you at anet i am incredibly sorry for my words here! please forgive me. yes i do still want the boots very badly but that does not justify my words here. i am sorry. you have brought me much enjoyment over the years with guild wars 1 and 2 and i appreciate this. thank you for your continued support in this bug! also i will no longer visit this forum because i realize you are very busy and do not need me complaining and adding to your frustration. i just hope i dont miss the news when it is fixed. fyi “soon” can mean next year, 2 years, 20 years. “soon” is basically a way to tell us to shutup. and no, there is nobody saying that the fix will rollout with the next patch, whenever that happens to be.

How many pages will this thread reach before Anet allows us to get the last item we need?

Post everywhere. Keep making noise about this. I’m telling like every map I get on about this in game.

There seems to be a lot of people with the wrong idea or wrong information about this. Help them out by correcting them in /map chat so everyone can see and get more educated about this also.

The more noise we make the sooner a resolution will be found for this problem that has been effecting a lot of us for over a month now. That is customer service 101.

And none of that will help what so ever. all you will do is get threads locked merged and make yourselfs look like fools. but if thats what you want to do, go ahead.

It might help if it does get locked that way we could get the appropriate title for the problem that most of us face. We are not having a problem with all “Challenge Motes are bugged [merged]” but with just one challenge mote, the meeting the asura challenge mote. We have tried multiple times to have a thread just dedicated to that bug but it keeps getting merged into this larger thread about other bugs.

Anet even said it was hard to navigate our bugs issues on this forum because everything was merged.

So I am totally for them locking this thread and us finally being able to create a new one!

I hope nobody forgets that World Summit is still bugged.

It’s been said that they haven’t been able to reproduce it.

If any developer wants to reproduce the issue at any time they just need to get me into their party and they’ll have the bug reproduced as many times as they need.

Hey, my girlfriend and I just recently went through the World Summit again (earlier this week) and was able to get the challenge mote to spawn without issue. Not sure what I can say to help other than maybe the bug for World Summit isn’t 100% like the Meeting the Asura one is so maybe you can group with someone that can get it to work? Or spam the instance without pets, naked, no title, etkittenil it works.

That might get you the achievement faster than waiting on a fix =p

I’d agree with you if they weren’t selling this bugged LS episode in their bundle.
As it is they are selling something that doesn’t fully function.

Not going to happen, you are going to wait(You dont have to like it of course, but you will). Rangers had to wait 2 months to get their class mechanic fixed(I talked about this in another thread and how it affected me being able to play). this could take just as long as that.

This bug not only stops you from getting a full sinister set but also from finishing the luminiscent armor collection, just removing the requirement from the meta would a good temporary fix if you can’t replicate the bug.

You should always take a “soon” as an “on a release day” once the bug has been fixed.

It implies that it’s coming next official patch day, or at least that’s the only context that makes sense. If it doesn’t get patched this coming Tuesday all hell will break loose.

Guy I’ve been waiting some time, not as long as others, perhaps more than most.

In any event I’m happy to wait till Tuesday, mainly because I was simply just happy to get an official response stating it was fixed. Most likely I was worn down from having beat my head against a brick wall for so long with the ignorance of other players and ANet’s silence.

The fact they released the package deal with this content still being broken is possibly the biggest /facepalm ANet gave themselves.

That’s something where they REALLY need better systems in place to cross reference ideas for selling while comparing issues with that idea imo.

Oh they had it nailed down about a month into it, but they tested it for 4 weeks if i recall before they released it, to make sure that it worked properly. But yea, ANET takes their own time on fixing bugs(To be fair, i dont think they have that many people who are available to work on this kinda stuff). Hopefully yes, Tuesday!

This is something that will always make me think again when buying something from the Gem Store. I’ll either do a search to see if there’s an issue. Or more likely be too lazy to do a search and not buy anything.

Not me, no. I’ll check, but I doubt it. I expect them to add things to the gem store, and pretty much just that.

+1 to fix or workaround for Unforgiving Infiltration mote.
Like many others this is last achievement I need to complete the set. I have complete the story up to this with two other characters to see if it would spawn and it does not.

Fingers crossed it is fixed in next update. Until then me = :..(
