I was able to get it after patch once, but unfortunately I had to exit the instance and when I got back in it was gone again… Still waiting on a true fix for this.

You know, it’s unfortunate.

When it FINALLY gets fixed I see the 2+ week delay and think ‘about time’ not ‘thanks for fixing’.

Let’s bump this, it has be addressed, I need this challenge mote in order to make my Lumi armor. I can’t imagine this is a serious bug and why is there no single answer from a developer?

I keep meeting new people that have no idea how to do Unforgiving Infiltration. Maybe thats because the challenge mote wont kittening spawn.

I had the very same thing, I assumed it was fixed, when I retried is was gone for me as well.

Well… 13 days after my first post on the subject, 14 days after the bug stopped me one step short of finishing the bioluminescence collection, I now have the perfect solution to very simply make this bug a moot point.

Simply rename the achievement from Unforgiving Infiltration to Impossible Infiltration.

Done ! It now perfectly describes the achievement and the bug itself isn’t a bug anymore.

You can all thank me later.

Heh, they should have done this for their april fool’s joke as a nod, but as it stands having 260 replies on a thread is apparantly not worthy of a single nod, reply or mention from anet’s side.

Another update, no fix.

Hell, Anet should just create an item giving you the challenge mode buff, either through mail or an npc somewhere. This should be easy to implement for them if fixing the challenge mote issue is somehow difficult.

Too bad they are blue pilling us and won’t even read this.

Almost lost all hope for this to be fixed…. They have time for aphril fools with airplain hands and hat but not to fix bugs…..

A large portion of the player base never cared about those achies to begin with. Those that did (and were able to do harder achies) got the armor & the achie earlier. As a recent returnee this impacts me in a very painful way though .. :P

I’ve read that it’s an automatic thing…but i just type it to be sure xD

This thread is 3 months old and no response from Anet? I too need this fixed, or I’d at least like my 200 gems back.

The current iteration of the bug, the one that is blocking the bioluminescence achievement, is less than 3 weeks old.

If people start submitting tickets, making inquiries about refunds for broken content. They may be more inclined to pull their finger out.
