Anyone else had this issue?

p.s. the casuals of the game complaining over small details ruined the expansion for me.

Exactly the same problem for me, 10 minutes ago.

I took my last hero point (screenshot), and even with 100 %, i got nothing …

Same here. Map Completion is yielding no rewards in Verdant Brink.

I got 100% map completion and unlike how the achievemnt in the “Dark Harvest Collection” implied I did not get a Necromancer’s Cache for completing the zone.

I have a friend who did however complete Verdant Brink on a character who did not 100% world completion in Tyria and got the map completion reward. Were I do have world completion and I did not get map completion rewards for Verdant Brink.

So I think the problem here is that characters that have Tyria World Completion arent getting map completion rewards from the HoT maps because they have been ‘locked out’ from world completion rewards. This might be because during the living story the maps changed quite a bit, so to prevent players from ‘re-achieving’ world complete the devs locked out those characters from map completion rewards.

Purely speculation, but either way I did not get map completion upon 100% completing Verdant Brink.

Below I attached the proof of map completion and the missing cache from the Dark Harvest Achievemnet.

Same for me. As per the discussion I do have 100% tyria completion as well. Finished Verdant Brink and got no reward :’(

Yeah I have 100% Tyria completion and got not reward when I completed VB either. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Same here, I literally just finished world complete, have all the POI’s, WP’s, Hero Challenges, Vista’s and even the Mastery points, still nothing for me.

I recently finished Silverwastes and Drytop, both of which where also supposed to get rewards and didnt get a reward. I do hope these can be rewarded retroactively ;-;

Got this issue in Auric Basin.

Same issue for me and I’ve done it a couple more times on different characters with Tyria world completion to be sure.

So it seems if you already have world completion you will not receive it, but if you haven’t you will.

ANet is aware of this (according to my friend’s service ticket); no ETA for a fix.

In the meantime, leave out one vista or POI from each zone (if you have core world completion). If you already completed the zone(s), hang tight for the fix — in the past (for similar situations), ANet has done the right thing to make the rewards retroactive.

Same problem here, completed VB today and haven’t received anything.

Just to comment on this, I did complete VB this morning (no completion though), but I can somewhat confirm this statement.

I had characters fully explore DryTop, Silverwastes, and Southsun prior to HoT and did not receive any rewards there for map completion. However, I had my Revenant explore Southsun and received a “Map Completion Chest” with a letter in the mail just like all the other core Tyria zones.

So not only are we missing the map completion for the new HoT zones, but also Dry Top, Silverwastes, and Southsun. I did not receive any on my other characters that completed those zones prior to Heart of Thorns. Even characters I have that were just missing 1 POI were not getting map completion rewards after I found what I was missing.

It’s a major problem because in order to get your Ascended Elite Spec weapon, you need to map complete a Heart of Thorns map.

I am joining the crowed on this… Just complete now and 0 rewards…. I am becoming a very frustrated guild wars gamer….. Please ensure we get our rewards for map completion!

Same no reward for Verdant Brink, Southsun, DT and SW on 100% Tyria Map characters.

Got 100% Map Completion in both Auric Basin and Tangled Depth, yet none of both gave my any map completion reward.
I have 100% world completion from the past. This seems to be important as my friend, who started a revenant, doesn’t have 100% and completed Auric Basin and got the map completion reward.

Hopefully this is resolved soon..

Same thing here and it kittenES me off literally. Working SO hard to get the Bo- Staff and now I got to wait because there is ANOTHER bug. Not that there were like enough with the story and Events already >.< sorry but I’m really angry.

Completed Verdant brinks with my thief. No reward or chests on any characters.

You don’t have to do this, as anyone without 100% map completion can confirm you, the rewards will be retroactive once you enter the map again, so you can go ahead and finish your maps while they fix it.

Maybe Anet should have thought pro-actively instead of retro-actively, and had the HoT maps set out on a seperate “World Complete” tally.. That way 100% tyria doesnt mess with your HoT maps.. But then, I’m not the monkey with power to do that so I guess they gotta fix their mistakes. Which probably wont happen for a good week or two.

Yep, 100% map on Tyria causes that HoTs maps don’t get rewards. Either Southsun cave, SW or Dry top that now give reward, dont give nothing to ppl with 100% map.

Please Anet give us a response and if you’ll fix this.

Finished Verdant Brink on my necro and then on my engi, only my necro got a side-chest.
Guildie mentioned some older toons before March 2013 do not get any side-chest.

On Dry Top and Silverwastes, one of my characters got a retroactive chest for both, while the other didn’t. Also, my friend didn’t get any chest yet.

Finished VB map today on my engineer , got no reward (also have Tyria on 100%)

On my 100% world completion character I can confirm that I as well didn’t receive any map completion for Southsun Cove, Silverwastes or Dry Top.

I’ll just say i got the same bug in Tangeled Depths yesterday.

Same issue with me. 100% Verdant Brink completion on my main, that also has 100% map complete on regular tyria, except for Dry Top and Silverwastes, got no chest from VB completion.
A friend got the rewards when completing the zone but that character did not have 100% core Tyria map complete.

The bug applies to the central tyria world map as well. I just did 100% world on my revenant and the moment I finished Cursed Shore, which was the last map I needed to get world completion, I only got the world completion’s reward: 2 Gifts of Exploration, but no map completion reward for Cursed Shore itself.

Completed both Verdant Brink and Auric Basin at 100% map completion but didn’t get any reward either. My character (Mesmer) also had 100% Tyria map completion before HoT came out.

I also finished Verdant Brink and got nothing. My character had 100% world before HoT.

yeah im also a 100% of tyria completed everyone who posts seems to be that char has 100% map completion

on a side note did it on my rev who has 2% map completion no issues got a couple of the zones done with the full rewards so go figure
