Guys, Even though I am affected by this and find it EXTREMELY infuriating and shouldn’t really have been allowed past testing. I still understand they are trying their best. so even though I am sick and tired of bugs, I have come to accept things take time.

13/14 now for the Bo Staff and cannot complete
Wanted this staff since I first saw it

It also applies to the older maps, which weren’t part of the Tyria 100% map completion, such as Southsun Cove, Silver Wastes and Dry Top as far as I can remember.

My main has 100% map completion on Tyria, and of course I have fully discovered the above mentioned 3 maps.
Yesterday I fully discovered Southsun Cove with an alt character, I got map reward (hurray), but obviously, I didn’t get map reward with my main character, which had it explored years ago (and ye, back then there wasn’t reward for it – I’m guessing since it wasn’t part of Tyria 100% map compl. in the first place).

I’d really like to know, if this is intended ? will we get the map completion reward for the latter added 3 maps (and we are just not getting the reward due the same bug that blocks HoT completion map rewards), or we can just “forget about it”?

Because latter isn’t the correct solution, and I’ve been told by guildies, that we won’t get these rewards. If so, I’d like to know from ANet team: WHY? (Just add a few more point of interests whatsoever, and let everyone have it, it’s not like you haven’t modified PoI’s or Waypoints before in the core game by adding new ones.)

I think they are already aware of it. (see bug forum)
They said they fixed it,but it seems that there are still people out there that still have the same problem as you and me.

Support wont help. Even tried asking for them to give the cache directly through mail

This is obviously a problem that is not a priority with Anet. Surprising though considering how many people cannot get their specialization weapons because of it.

A response or update would be nice at this point

I guess that what’s annoying ppl is more the fact that we have no news and no “we’re looking into it and we’re totally aware of the bug, we’re just having issues fixing it” about that bug from ANet, despite a 300+ posts thread on the official forum.

Just chiming in to say I have the issue as well on my Scrapper. 100% VB and AB and no rewards or collection progress.

Had 100% before HoT, however I did NOT have the Silverwastes maps fully explored.

ive now 100% on 3 of 4 of the new maps, on all 3 mapos i didn’t receive the rewards for the 100% Map Exploration.

Verdant Brink is bugged.
Golden is Bugged
Tangled depths is bugged

and im pretty sure, would I have 100%ed dragons stand also, that id receive there no reward also too, so lets say the whole map reward system of HoT is completely messed up.

Yeah, I literally don’t want to play anymore until they fix it.. Kills all my exitment knowing my character should be lookin exactly how I wanted him to and i can’t get the Bo staff because anet won’t fix this bug. Until it’s fixed, I will only log in to see if they fixed it, then log out. No more gem buying from me.

Finished VB on a char with map completion yesterday and got no reward.
Both VB and AB worked fine on a revenant without completion.

Any response from Anet would be great at this point.

Well this is an issue that happen for all character that already have 100% map completion for tyria. Hopefully they will find a fix because I have 8 characters out of 9 with 100% map completion and it would suck to be punished because they finished their map completion before HoT was even announced.

How many posts do they need to send a developer here and say at least two senteces about this mess? I’m actually glad that I didn’t start to finish Auric Basin if this bug still exists…

Same boat guys… Auric and Verdant on 100% and no reward… Got 100% world prior HoT… Hope they will fix this issue

I’m waiting for 2 weeks now. :/ It’s pretty much annoying.

Large amounts of people are having problems with their map completion where in which if they have 100% tyria they have not received any rewards for map completion in (Silverwastes, Dry Top, Southsun Cove, ALL HOT areas), Can Anet please give us a message if they are working on this problem or if they even know about it?

Why do they put map completion fix in the patch notes but not expand on that to mention that they dont mean the 100% character bug, now I completed the map and have nothing!

There is already a thread about this (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Got-100-map-completion-on-VB-no-reward) and although I know it has got no official reply so far, making new threads won’t help either. :S

However, as showed in that thread they are aware about the issue, although they didn’t give an official response there they made it through other means like Reddit it seems.

Same here, 2 weeks have gone and i now have all 4 maps completed without any rewards just like a million other people here. I geuss i won’t be seeing yggdrassil for awhile.

Completed VB and AB already, and got nothing.

Just got VB map complete loot on my alt that didn’t have 100% world map complete. But still nothing for my toons that already had 100% world map complete and these VB rewards are needed for legendary crafting!!! so fix please and mail me my loot! (same goes for other new HoT maps as well)

I thought they said they fixed this bug and were just trying to figure out how to give them out to players who didnt get them… turns out it is NOT fixed, I just did DS 100% and got nothing… again…

I did map completion , but got no Chest & no reward, no gift of fleet.

I can understand there being bugs with the game – with an expansion to an MMO it’s all but guaranteed – but total lack of a response for this issue? Especially as it seems isolated to those who have 100% completion, and have supported GW2 for a while? How is that any way to treat customers? It’s like the pre-order situation all over again.

I’ve had this map completion issue for over a week. I understand a fix will take time. But really, they should at least acknowledge the players who have the issue, instead of ignoring us, because it feels like Anet just wants the issue to quietly disappear.

Fyi, this map completion bug also happens on old maps. I completed Cursed Shore just now but no items no in-game mail.

You would think something blocking players from being rewarded for what they spent close to 40 hours trying to get would be kind of a biig issue.. And here we are 8 days later, still nothing.

I just want an update on the fix and maybe an ETA. Not getting your collection weapons because of a bug is so frustrating.

Glad I read this before getting my final hero point in VB!

Just completed Auric Basin 100% and got no reward…. (I have 100% world completion as well)

And seriously… it’s these kittenty bugs that makes me wanna quit this stupid game forever, I really hope we get our rewards soon cuz I will never spend my time completing another 100% on that map.. EVER!

100% Auric Basin complete – No reward

Very frustrated as not getting the map completion rewards, I can’t progress the Specialisation Collections. Bit of a game breaker for me as at the moment until this gets fixed I am unable to complete the track to obtain the ascended specialisation weapons.
And just important the Gifts (of the Fleet, of Tarir, of the Chak, of the Jungle), which are needed for the new Legendaries.
I have several characters with 100% world completion which will experience the same No Reward bug when completing the HoT maps. And I do not want to buy slots and create new characters just to attain these rewards.

Joining the club, finished VB 100% – still not reward. First I thought it’s normal and I get all stuff upon finishing ALL expansion maps.
But after reading on Wiki about Gift of the Fleet etc etc I am ending up being here with all of you having the same buggy issue.

I did verdant brink on my one of my mesmers 72% map tyria: 100% verdant brink : map completion: gift and map thingies

I did verdant brink on one of my warriors 100% map tyria: 100% verdant brink no gift, 100% auric basin no gift…

No, you don’t need masteries.

Its already been reported as a bug for map completion. If you have 100% on a character and go for map completion in the new zones, its bugged. My warrior is 100% world completion, didnt get the rewards for verdant brink.

My necro on the other hand, got it, and he doesn’t have 100% world.

Just report it as a bug and wait.

Long known problem, though no official response when or how it will be fixed.

Adding my voice to this, I guess. Disappointing to know there’s a bug blocking my chance to get the specialization weapon on my main.

Same for my Necromancer on Verdant Brink and Dragons Stand! This issue has been ongoing for nearly two weeks now and still no fix?!?!?

Can we have an update perhaps?

Can we get an ETA for the fix? Will the fix to lost map completion on Monday fix this?

Same here. The game is already stingy with non-gem rewards giving us NO reward on map completion is messed up.

If someone has an 80 without 100% Map completion in Central Tyria, could you go to VB and 100% it, and let us know if you got your reward?
