In game mail. Random To:

If I want to send some mail to my friend. The To: field some times has random name in it time to time. I’m not sure why it does that. I don’t even have any one click on. This really need to be fix.

Picture attach. This was a test, and again a random name appears.

Would like to add that one time I did this:
1. Right click on the item “Mail item to…”
2. Random name appears on To:. So, I right click on the person I want to send to “Send Mail”
3. Ok, now my friend name appears on the To:. I send it and it went to the random person instead. Even when it over write the random person name.

Luck me the person send back the stuff to me.

It’s not a bug. The random name appears because that is the person standing in front of or closest to you. You may experience this most in crafting areas and other heavily populated areas. Imo, this is to replace the person-to-person trade experience that wasn’t included in GW2.

I do hope they change the functionality because the mail system shouldn’t be allowed to decide who I want to mail items to.

Indeed this is a bug. I experience this even in solo instances like HoM.
