Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?
Is ceremonial plated armor clipping on most human female hairstyles EVER going to be fixed?

Hello there, I was about to buy the “Imperial Outfit” when I noticed the abnormal look it has on my female Norn Character, so at the moment I am not going to buy it. On the lower leg area the armor makes the legs look very very thin, it looks like a graphic bug. I searched online or I checked other people wearing it and in some Norn the legs look even thinner than others. I realized that the problem must be more noticeable on larger characters, it’s like the width of the leg remains the same despite the characters size. I am posting some images so u can see the problem.
I hope it can be fixed because this is a very good looking armor skin and it is pity to have such a big flaw. I would like to buy it, if the problem gets fixed

I noticed that there was a gap where the chest armor and legs meet in the back when wearing the grasping dead legs and wielding a weapon. Its leaves a small spot on the back of my character that you can see though. I also checked to see if the gap was there with a few other armors and it seems like the problems is the pants.

So many swords on a female norns have the tips jutting straight through the ground. Even some of the medium-sized ones. Any longer swords are nearly buried. This is one of the worst examples of clipping I’ve seen, almost enough to make me regret making a norn female as my Guardian.

In addition to this with the same hairstyle the Zenith Spire equipped it glitches though the back of the hair. (See images 2 and 4)

Since the change with outfits, the Wintersday costume have a dye channel problem. What used to be the legging piece is inconsistent with the rest of the outfit.
In my screenshot, orange is the “fur color”. It’s on the glove, upper part, hat, and shoes.
Black is the main color, and blue is the second main color.
But on the lower part of the dress, the “fur color” suddenly becomes the “sock” color, while blue become the fur!
It doesn’t allow harmonious coloring, and this is starting to driving me a bit mad, as this outfit was reallt great.
I hope that this issue is easy to fix! It’s just a matter of channels.
Why all this clipping when u know how NOT to do it….? Baltazaar was amazing! Why notdo all outfits amazing when it comes to how they fit? That would bring in so much more money…

The outfit’s panties remain the default green that the outfit uses, no matter if you fill in all dye slots with other dyes. The panties show in obvious under-skirt pantyshots and as such wouldn’t be really a problem, but slivers of it also show past the skirt part. See screenshots for all filled dye channels and how the green shows even when not taking an obvious pantyshot. Please fix.
So the day before the big patch I finally made my first legendary: Kraitkin!
And it turns out that—after I spent an inconceivable amount of time and money making a trident—Kraitkin renders completely wrong in my game. Not only does it look wrong in the preview screen (the only place I ever saw it in-game before making it), but it also looks incomplete in the actual game, like I’m missing a texture file. I’ve included screenshots of how it appears in my preview window, as well as how it looks in game.
This bug appears to have fixed itself in the last 24 hours. I still don’t know what caused the problem in the first place—or what fixed it—but it looks fine now, so I’m glad for that.
My NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics card updated in this past month, and the Kraitkin texture broke again. However, unlike the first instance of this issue, Kraitkin appears normally on low and high shader settings. On medium shader quality—the setting I prefer and usually have—the texture is bugged. I’ve taken several screenshots to illustrate the difference. The pictures show low, medium, and high shader settings, in that order.

Problem: too large 1-h weapon scale.
Most of one-handed weapons at norn’s hands are so huge that even sinks into the ground when stowed. In the hands it looks bizarre. The handle sometimes thicker then norn’s fist holding it (Braham’s mace in female hands).
Could you correct some (or even all) sizes?

While standing in place with a weapon drawn and the Diviner Leggings and Council Ministry Shoes armor skins equipped, the character’s legs clip through the skirt of the leggings. Without any foot armor equipped, the clipping isn’t as bad, but the left leg still goes completely through the skirt when a one-handed weapon is drawn.

The Forgeman Breastplate, when worn by an Asura, is stuck by the tip of the breastplate to the Asura’s chin.
This means that whenever you draw your weapons or even so much as look around the Breastplate stretches terribly. In my opinion, this completely ruins an otherwise fantastic looking piece of armor.
This problem has been around since launch! Please fix it!
viewed from the back it still shows the full coat but when viewed from the front the tail of the coat still disappears, this has been a long ongoing cosmetic bug it has been almost a year since a group of friends and my self have reported it. please fix, it ruins game immersion. I have screen shots attached of the for a front and back view, it also behaves this way in the preview screen and wardrobe screen.
as you can see the back of the coat is solid when viewed from the back but when viewed from the front the coat tail vanishes. This is on a Norn male and apparently only affects norn male models .
Going to add mine to this one because it seems to be an issue related to some norn armor clipping from the front

Don’t know why I’m bothering to post yet another graphic bug considering the last one I posted still hasn’t been fixed, so I won’t bother with all the details this time because there’s no point. All I’ll say is that one eye here is correctly coloured (celestial), whilst the other is some weird light blue colour.
Also on the character select screen, his eyes are completely shut.

The female norn has clipping occur in the armpits when using “Heart of the Koda” armor.
It makes the character have a small hole in their armpit which is most notable with any gesture raising the arms.

The hands are disconnected from the sleeves. I’ve tried it with and without the gloves showing as well as with the gloves unequipped, and the hands are still separate from the body.

You’re clipping criteria excluded hair in regards to armor, but this one has existed since launch and is still one of the most blatant clipping issues around. Should have 2 pics, 1 comparing the identical human version, which appears rooted to the character and doesn’t clip, and some pics of a Norn thief, including while swimming, where the hair hangs clear through her.

Class: ElementalistMy female human, Yumiko Emi Ishida has the red eyes, like in a camera; still it seems to be with blue eyes that it happens. I had this eye color since launch.
I use the default Canthan faces (heavily edited) for my girls and it seems her eyes have a red reflection in the pupils like a camera flash was used on her.
I don’t know if its the eye color or the face choice.
Edit: confirmed by another player: its the face type not eyes.
Adding more info as it seems putting myself in front of the mystic forge’s white-blue glow removed the red eyes.
And the red eye problem even shows on npcs with bluish eyes, and it seems to be my color eyes or similar.

I’m having an issue where every player I encounter (besides NPCs) appears as a husk/shadow type character. I know it isn’t just a skin or anything because I’ve been playing with a friend and their armor looks completely different on their screen. This is happening with any race, class, and sex I encounter (I can’t tell if it’s with every armor since they all look the same to me). My character’s armor looks fine though. Is there something I can do to fix this?? I’m playing on a Mac.

Problem: When wearing armor, a very distinct crease appears on the back of the character model, right where the upper and lower portions of the model meet.
I have tried several different armor combinations, and have switched out both the upper and lower armor sets. A crease appears on each one. Likewise, a very visible model clipping can be seen on the front of the midsection, making it appear as if the character has completely different textures between upper and lower body.
This crease in the character vanishes when wearing neither chest pieces nor pants. But, when wearing one or the other, the bend appears again. This is apparent on any graphical setting.

Having trouble with some type of overlap bug on my (yet to be created) character’s face, namely it seems the eye shadow and face textures are conflicting, instead of the former being layered over the later.
The face is the “default” face when you choose to be a human female thief, to clarify that’s the one dead center of the first tab of 3×3 faces.
Posting images as attachments as I can’t get them to work with the IMG tag.
This is rather insignificant, however it is still bothering me. Several of the male “bonus” hairstyles from the makeover kit will clip with the back neck portion of the mad scientist’s outfit.
I don’t know how easy this would be to fix, or if it’s even worth the time, but I figured I should post it here simply because both of these items are gem store purchases, and it seems to me that “premium” content probably shouldn’t clip like this.

Item: Scale Shoulders ( Warrior starter)
The scale shoulders on the Norn body setting with the broadest shoulders has a bug where the armor clips right through the shoulders, making them look quite out of place. As seen by the images, the Norn’s shoulders clip through the armor on both the front and back of the shoulder. I didn’t report this bug earlier because I thought it was a known issue. But, after looking through the forums, I found nothing on the subject making me think the issue is either very old or has strangely not been brought up before. I understand everyone is capped out with the new expansion, but I’d like to at least inform you of this issue, thanks for taking the time to review this problem.
Ever since getting The Predator for my engineer I have noticed that it is the only class where the footsteps from the legendary weapon hardly show up at all, over any terrain. It is very sad that this isn’t even a forth of what the other top purple weapons produce.
Part of the fun is having that visual aesthetic that is supposed to be on every legendary weapon. Most footsteps with other legendary weapons will show for about 20 steps, nice and bold, but at best with The Predator there are 3 and they are normally very subdued. My pictures will illustrate in snow where they should be very easy to see. These pics illustrate the best it gets, which is not what we see with any other legendary. Big bummer.
Here are additional screenshots to go with my previous post, comparing footprints with other legendary weapons and their footprints. Again, The Predator hardly shows up at all, in fact in these pics no footprints show up. This isn’t what we were told we would get from a legendary weapon.

Description: The shoulder pieces on the Sneakthief armor skin float a little too high off the shoulder – from many angles they are pretty obviously floating, especially during e.g. idle animations (see screenshot). Using the aviator memory box it gets even worse – they appear to be coming out the character’s ears. I figure some kind of gap is pretty much inevitable but I’m hoping it’s at least possible to reposition/resize this one so it’s less obvious.

When I enter water both the helm and mask(breather) becomes visible even if the helm is hidden. When I leave the water, both the helm and mask(breather) stays (helm still hidden). The only way to get rid of it is to leave and re-enter the map and then not enter water if u dont want to repeat the procedure or simply find u’rself in the strange look.
The “Inventor’s sunglasses” clipp very badly with my eyebrows.
I am playing a male human, and it looks just totally horrible.
Aegis clipping, perpendicular with shields.
it means THEY got me for " neg criticism in clever disguise".
Know that it has been fun and I love ya all.
Shader bug on Mad Scientist Outfit (item for real money!)

Take a look at the bottom end of the coat.
Lowering the shaders setting from high to medium solves the bug, but it happens that instead there will be a different bug at medium shaders which causes the bottom end of the coat to generate black shapes which overlap each other. Both behaviors are very different to the same-as-usual shader on the rest of the outfit.
When is the Juvenile Marsh Drake going to get the correct picture on its portrait?
Hero panel dye changes do not update.
Hard to justify transmute changes if I cant even tell what Im doing.

The monk outfit has some bad problems with clipping on both female humans and female norn.
Whenever I emote or draw a weapon with my female human, her legs clip through the dress.
My female norn is even worse. Her legs clip through the dress even when she is just standing idle.
Please fix.
On the bright side, it makes her look even more deranged.
That is the look you’re going for, right?
There’s a thread somewhere where Gail addressed this. They are working on it to be fixed by next patch

Royal Ascalonian Longbow when used with Rapid Fire will continuously show the bow shooting well after the skill is finished in some instances. I notice it primarily at night.
Human-Male-Mesmer-Lv 80
The armor that I have issues with is my shoulders. I have notice the issue when I decided to change my wardrobe skin from my old armor set to my new one. I went from profane shoulders to carapace shoulders. Also, to make matters interesting I also can not change the dye of the new shoulders. I have tried around 6ish times with transmutation stones to change the appearance once again but that didn’t work. Also if I take off the amror the graphic for the shoulders will not go away as well…
