Coat: Human cultural T3 Assassin’s coat
Leggings: Magitech medium leggings

The conflicts, overlapping, clipping, etc. on this combination is not only a conflict between the top and leggings, but also the leggings with the structure of the body model itself.
To start: The skirt part of the Magitech leggings clips through the sides of the hips where the thighs join the hip (this happens on the right and left side of the models)
Second: There is a lot of overlap between the T3 assassins coat and the Magitech skirt.

On my Human Guardian I have the Arah chest equipped. Any greatsword I wield has a clipping issue where the spine on the chestpiece goes through the sword.

I have a Female Asura Mesmer dressed to match the different shades of pinks, purples, and blues traditional to the Mesmer. Except I noticed that my HAIR RIBBON is different now than it used to be. It is a DARKER purple, and the little decorative square is normally pink. It is now GOLD. I checked with another player with the same ribbon… they noticed it too. I checked my Total Transformation Kit, and ALL of the ribbons have a gold square now. And there is another purple in the Kit that is probably a better match than this is now.

See the picture: The pink and purple of my shoulders and hood were almost a perfect match to the colors in my hair ribbon. Now the ribbon is a shade or so darker, and the square is gold.

Please fix!

P.S. – All of the hair accessories for every race and sex need to include a true black (Abyss) color! The world would be less colorful, but you would have fewer people after your heads to make hair accessories dyeable. (But yeah, they are right. Hair accessories need to be freely dyeable. We are locked into an armor color for life.)

The Shard of the Deep appears upside-down when stowed. This is only from the item preview. I have not actually equipped it yet, (I am still deciding whether or not to Soulbind it) so am not certain if it is also upside-down in actual game play. Two pics… one wielded, and one stowed:

This is an issue with the T3 medium cultural armor vest. I’ve chosen the thickest and most voluptuous figure available for female Norns and apparently my hips and stomach clip through the leather of the vest (as seen on both screenshots). On the first screenshot, I’m not wearing leggings or gloves to show that it’s solely the vest that clips into my character. On the second screenshot I’m including my medium vigil leggings to show that the vigil leggings clip horribly into the T3 cultural armor vest as well.

Please fix this ArenaNet, I’ve been waiting so long for a fix to this issue and wearing this to battle, or even in town, is embarrassing because of the clipping. Cultural armor shouldn’t be clipping on the races they’re supposed to be worn on.

Not sure if this is the right place to put this as it’s not a player Char graphic but I can’t seem to find where else to put it. Basically since the patch that removed culling from PVE any ghosts I see in the game no longer look like ghosts. The pic I will post here is an example of a fighter in Ascalon and all other ghosts of similar type have lost their “ghostly” look/aura thing as well just like this one.

If it’s just a settings thing please advise if I can fix this by which setting to play with. Mind you I had no problems with this before the patch as mentioned above.

My Falconers gloves are clipping rather noticably with my Invaders Rawhide Vest. Or rather, just the left one is. (Weird :o)

The helmet, chest, legs, and shoulders are Exotic Lvl 80 Invaders Rawhide Medium from WvW, obtained with badges and gold. The gloves and boots are transmuted Falconer’s human cultural armor, obtained from the human tier 2 cultural armor merchant in Divinity’s Reach.

Problem: Lighting textures on Sylvari Tier 3 Cultural Light

Pretty much ever since the effects update recently the lighting on the shoulders and gloves, and parts of the boots has gotten really shiny and strange. I know the texture on those pieces was different then the rest of the armor. But it looks very strange and unnatural. You can see almost no color because of the glare on them.

First two pictures are Day/Night. It shows at all angles, but these two screenshots are just an example. Last screenshot is what it looked like before the issue.

Problem does not persist in the Hero panel or anything. Everything looks fine on that. It is just the general in game lighting everywhere.

I’ve tried changing post processing and anything that would affect lighting and nothing seems to help so I’m not sure if its a issue on my end of just the games lighting.

If anything, maybe make a way to disable/change the lighting effects in-game. World lighting in general looked a lot better before to me. :/

Asura, female, elementalist.
The light Asura cultural Tier 3 set (savant) has a “bug” with the coat of the set. Equipping it will hide your shoulder armor. While this is a feature on some armors, it also hides the T3 savant shoulders of the same set.
Note that this was “fixed” a few patches ago by making the chest automatically include the shoulders, but merely lasted a short while before being returned to the current state

today’s patch was hoping it would of solved the problem with one of the legendarys well I was dead wrong.

Bolt has problem after/during a attack animation in which case it doubles itself inside of it or after attack swing and quick swap you’ll see it float in the air for about 3 seconds.

I am not sure if this existed before the patch but I only just noticed it after the September the third patch.
The projectile is actually Kudzu itself for a split second, see attachments.

As a sidenote please just remove the string on Kudzu it looks so out of place. It also doesn’t show up in the preview screen so it is misleading and I was very disappointed when I got mine. It annoys me a lot more than it should and I would rather have the gold than have it with the string.

My snowwhite charr suddenly has a black patch on her forehead. I’m pretty miffed at this, she was to be as white as snow. Now it even looks like her hair is pasted on with a black splotch on her face. This happened since the last patch of a few hours ago (3 sep).
Please get this right again!

So, I logged in after this last patch to check if there were any progress on the Vigil/shield issue I’ve been posting about since late January. And indeed there was; the shield is no longer horizontaly implanted into my Charr’s elbow. HOWEVER.
Now her flesh stands on end on both arms, and it looks terribly disturbing when moving around.

Part Charr, part porcupine.

Ok this is pretty severe. Post-it to your monitor as high priority.

Female Norn (class any, gear any), the hair style in the image is bugging pretty nasty. Idle it’s looks normal, but when moving (even the slightest inch) it instantly distorts to some frozen spaghetti curtain.

I first figured it was some economical measure but it happens even on highest settings.

This cuts off my characters at the waist. Similar to the winged set a long time ago. Each piece by itself cuts the character in half but when combined, it looks worse. Hard to see the cut line in the screen cap but I assure you it’s there.

I didn’t equip it on my character, only previewed it. Don’t want to buy something that cuts me.

Meteorlogicus has a lot of issues since the last patch.

1. It does not glow when sheathed during the daytime (this looks bad). It only glows when sheathed at night.

2. The blue/purple trail is missing… unless you log in during night time, in which case it is there until you use a weapon skill or unsheathe.

3. The clouds take too long to form after the lightning bolts, which is visually distracting. In general, I think the footsteps are a bad idea since they are vertical and three dimensional— its a lot of visual noise right in front of your screen. All other footsteps are on the ground so they are not distracting or disorienting visual stimuli.

4. The clouds are black during daytime, which doesn’t make sense with the white cloud/Sunny Aesthetic. In general, the footsteps only seem to match the night time appearance and perhaps should be made night only.

5. Most players honestly don’t like the aesthetic decisions made in this patch. I’m of the opinion that you guys should really change it so that there are two versions of Meteorlogicus:

One with the current day/night cycle and footsteps, and one that stays blue/white/sunny at all times, with no footsteps.

On the first screenshot I’m wearing the light leggings from the Order of Whispers set. An opening appears showing my character’s underwear (dyed with Icing dye) underneath the leathery belt that holds the leggings up.

On the second screenshot I’m wearing the light top from the Crucible of Eternity dungeon and the light shoulders from the Caudecus’ Manor dungeon. The idle animation makes her shoulders look like that.

Oops, made my own thread but I guess I’ll stick this here.

Backpiece slides off back as shield is wielded then snaps back onto back when shield animation finishes. Reverse also happens during stowing. Same thing happens with all my other back slots.

Note: the shield being at a weird angle is purely due to the animation of the shield and is not another bug.

Description: The fractal backpiece is buried inside the shoulders’ leaves, making it impossible to see it glow.

I expected Cultural Armors to be the Armors most polished, considering they are the most expensive. That, couple with the most expensive backpiece makes for a very disapointing clipping issue. Please make me and the other Sylvari Engies/Thieves/Rangers happy.

Hi, I just crafted the asceded dagger for my necro and after spending tons of gold on it, I was disappointed to see how badly it clips with my expensive T3 armor. I am a scepter/dagger necro, so when the dagger is equipped offhand, it is hidden under my armor half of the time. I love the design of the weapon and I would love to show it off a little more. Please fix it, I am sure most necros will get this dagger and it will be a pity to have such an expensive weapon not visible.

The boots contain two dyeable areas:

  • Upper Dye Slot = Back of boots
  • Lower Dye Slot = Front of boots

However, the upper half of the front of the boots that should be tied to the Lower Dye Slot (front of boots), is incorrectly tied to the back of the boots (Upper Dye Slot). This issue leads to incorrect dying of the item.

All of the “Auxillary Powered” items have “Auxiliaryspelled incorrectly.

All the HEAVY armor tiers of NORN Cultural Armor have white/stock/generic icons which in these times of salvaging for Essences of Luck makes it very tedious to ensure you don’t salvage the wrong item.

This character is also using the heaviest body preset for female Norn and her butt clips right through the skirt from the craftable “Barbaric” set.

They look normal [mirrored] up to about 3/4 full size, then one curves inwards while the other continues outward.
